This morning my friends over at AnkleBitingPundits are having something you seldom see amongst conservatives - and now never see amongst liberals. Pat Hynes - McCain's mouthpiece to the blogosphere - and Bulldog Pundit have had the audacity to publicly spat about McCain's candidacy.
Bulldog's case is hard to refute, and for my two cents - Pat's "case for McCain" doesn't come close to cutting it. Pat ascribes way too much credit for McCain's position on abortion. McCain has done little more in my opinion than give passing grades to the pro-life issue, but he certainly can not be ascribed as any sort of pro-life champion.
Perhaps McCain's biggest selling point IS his staunch line on the Global War On Terror. But the problem here Pat (and any other McCain supporters) is that he has been such a bad teammate to those attempting to fight the GWOT it has been hard to fully trust him. And McCain's insistence that illegal immigration is more or less disconnected from the GWOT is equally disturbing. So disturbing that it detracts from his credibility on the war - AS IT DOES BUSH'S.
Pat also seems to slander Romney and Condi in particular when it comes to actual known positions on abortion. If he knows more than others - than I would be glad to hear it. I think that it is safe to say however that neither Romney nor Condi would be classified as ABORTION ON DEMAND advocates for the full nine months of the pregnancy.
AnklebitingPundits should get kudos though for the level of disagreement that they are fostering there and for doing their part to advance the debate on a topic as important as who will lead the free world from 2008 forward...

In my column this last week, I wrote about 4 potentially devastating bills in the California legislature that seek to bring about retribution for people who believe in the traditional perspective of marriage and family in the public arena.
Now the beginning of the worst has happened. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed the first of the four bills and this one has disasterous implications for communities of faith, parochial schools, and Christian owned businesses that seek to operate within a faithful construct as it pertains to the doctrine of their faith.
In signing the bill SB 1441, Gov. Schwarzenegger demonstrated profound disgust for faith-based people throughout his state. The implications of his signature amount to the coerced acceptance of homosexual, transexual, and bisexual behavior. If any business in the state receives any state funds in any form - including that of a state grant for a student at a Christian college, then that business, school, institution must now concede their faith-based convictions on the issue of sexual practice - and now embrace practices they believe are immoral.
This bill was passed with no exemption for faith-based schools, institutions, or organizations. So the law immediately becomes enforceable upon every such institution as well.
As I made mention in the original column this is one of four bills that seek to bring about retribution for any and all who believe that such immoral actions should not be practiced - and thus stifling all dissent on the issue. (Which was one of the original sponsor's goals - Democrat Assembly Speaker - Fabian Nunez.)
Make no mistake, the beliefs that are held by sincere people of faith in California are directly under attack and the implications of these bills, if they all pass, will be to begin such a movement across the greater United States.
One of the commenters on the column has already made the plea that we join "The Revolution" - ban together - and fight back. And that's exactly why even former liberals all across New York City (not exactly a Mecca of conservatism) are going to their local Barnes & Noble, or Borders, WalMart, etc. and getting a copy of the new book: MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism Through Commonsense Thinking.

My newest column (Why Liberals Are Crushing Dissent) here on TownHall EXPLODED across the nation yesterday. As of midday on Monday we shot up to the number one most forwarded column on TownHall and are closing in on close to 1000 people who have taken the time to pass it on.
The basics of the column deal with four bills that have now passed the State Assembly and Senate in California and are now awaiting action via Gov. Schwarzenegger. The two main bills that assault the freedoms of "We the People" are SB 1437 and AB 606. The basic purpose of all four bills is to crush dissent in the school place towards people who do not think it wise to expose K-12 students to the immoral, experimental, and deeply unstable behavior that non-traditional sexual activists are pushing to get praised in the schools.
And now comes this little gem of a story to go along with it.
The goal of the Park Day School in Oakland is to encourage boys to pretend to be girls, and to encourage girls to pretend to be boys. Teachers have been instructed to no longer have the children line up in lines according to gender and the admissions director is even apologizing for balancing the classes by gender.
And to top it all off the students now utilize a unisex bathroom.
The term being adopted is to make the entire situation "gender fluid."
And whatever you do - don't you dare criticize the program...
The Commonsense is gone - its time to fight back. Read the book on how to. And join us every single day from 2-4p EST. It's worse than we think it is...

Don't know about you but even around the office for me the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina has been a frustrating thing. Basic ignorance usually reigns supreme. Well, that plus a healthy dose of "Bush is Satan," baseless rumor mongering from the "disaffected" and the "chocolate city" Mayor Nagen worshipers among us.
Well if like me you find yourself having to close the office doors because the less informed continue to say the same dumb stuff, (Like: "Did you see the way Bush grinned when made his announcement concerning Katrina?") then read these two very strong pieces on Katrina one year later.
Star Parker's assessment of the Spike Lee Katrina television event is bound to make Nagen lovers go crazy. And Rich Galen also adds some cogent overall reflection to the entire mess...

My column up today at TownHall as of 7:12 this morning (titled: WHY LIBERALS ARE CRUSHING DISSENT), had already become the most forwarded column I've written to date. Why? Because I think most people are quite disturbed to find out that "traditional perspectives on family and marriage are being outlawed in the school system."
But for a Democrat to openly admit that this is what he is attempting to do takes their boldness in the wrong doing one step further.
One of the commenters on the column has already made the plea that we join "The Revolution" - ban together - and fight back. And that's exactly why even former liberals all across New York City (not exactly a Mecca of conservatism) are going to their local Barnes&Noble, or Borders, WalMart, etc. and getting a copy of the new book: MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism Through Commonsense Thinking.

You know... There are lot of publications in the universe that sometimes run contests for prizes, or dedicate their valuable print real estate for lofty goals of eliminating poverty or assisting with emergency relief. (Mind you - most of these publications are of a faith based nature...but I digress.)
It makes sense then that when you hear about a publication trying to do something "praiseworthy" it might be worth mentioning to someone else - so that the "good will" gets spread!
JANE magazine is a popular magazine for young women today. I was told they were engaged in a campaign to pull something amazing off. Naturally I was curious to see what it happened to be.
Turns out they are actually using the girth of their publications credibility and reputation to seek a man who will help a girl lose her virginity.
Lofty goal indeed... eh if it weren't so pathetic that is.

Mary Katharine Ham who is by far one of the most talented and most entertaining bloggers in existence, stopped by the show today - (even if she denies it don't believe her) and filled us in on PorkBusters.org and why Charlie Rangel should be run out of his Harlem home for pick-pocketing we tax-payers to the tune of $3 million cold ones. Even if MK DOES deny it - we have proof - hear her voice here. (Cue in to the midway point of the hour.)
And if the Great Groveler getting 3 million of your smackers bothers you as much as me - call his office and say so: 202.224.3121.

Liberals are breeding themselves into the minority.
According to the new trends previously 50/50 states like Ohio will be "certifiably right wing" as quickly as 2020. Of course the left in America are freaking out because of the implications this will have on their chances in coming elections.
So what have we learned?
Have abortions...lose elections...
It ain't rocket science!

Iran has openly attacked a sovereign oil rig owned by another nation in the Persian Gulf. Where is the coverage on this? Why isn't it being reported?
Iran attacked and seized control of a Romanian oil rig working in its Persian Gulf waters this morning one week after the Iranian government accused the European drilling company of ``hijacking'' another rig.
An Iranian naval vessel fired on the rig owned by Romania's Grup Servicii Petroliere (GSP) in the Salman field and took control of its radio room at about 7:00 a.m. local time, Lulu Tabanesku, Grup's representative in the United Arab Emirates said in a phone interview from Dubai today.
``The Iranians fired at the rig's crane with machine guns,'' Tabanesku said. ``They are in control now and we can't contact the rig.'' The Romanian company has 26 workers on the platform, he said.
Iran, which holds the world's second-largest oil and gas reserves, is due to respond today to a European Union-led offer of incentives aimed at persuading it to halt uranium enrichment activities that are crucial to its nuclear program.
Neither the press office of Iran's oil ministry nor the one of Iran's revolutionary guards could be reached for comment when called.
Seems a bit provocative don't you think?

Have I ever mentioned before that only people who believe in the death penalty can truly be considered PRO-LIFE?
I know that it will tick off a lot of people to say that - but I get so tired of hearing the other side that you can only be PRO-LIFE if you are against the death penalty - I felt it was time for balance.
And before you get going on and on about the possibility of injustice being perpetrated on an innocent person - let's just suffice it to say that since the emergence of DNA - the likelihood of that argument holding any water has grown increasingly slim.
However I still need to point out that when I say "death penalty" my frame of reference is this: "When the actual person, who committed the actual crime, actually gets put to death, for doing something so dispicable that society has no other choice."
Wrongful prosecution, tampering with evidence, blah, blah, blah - all of those issues already have laws on the books pertaining to them.
Now the anti-death penalty folks are really stirred up about this new development. Evidently nearly 1 out of every 8 men on death row are now voluntarily giving up their legal appeal process and opting for an early finish to their sentence. The USA Today article seems to make it look like this is a terrible tragedy.
I choose to view it more along the lines of - they know what they did - and the guilt they feel most likely led them to believe that they have to pay the price for the hideous crimes they committed.
Case closed - NEXT...
