Well... in the second hour of the show we got into the "6 Imams" story from Minneapolis... If you tune in the PodCAST pay particular attention to the first caller "David". Or was it Al daveed? I can't remember...
Well as it turns out - we get off the air and I'm seeking more bloggy goodness for the evening shift and I run across this screaming headline. I'm curious why more news organizations haven't picked up on it yet. Gibson had nothing on the update even though he covered the larger story on "The BIG Story"...
Maybe someone could forward him this link to make sure he gets it for his radio show. I don't get XM in the house...
Anyway - so as fate has it - one of the Imams they collared in the "Praying 6" story is connected to Hamas and was at one time connected to Osama big Boy...

One of the developments in blogging that my good friend Hugh Hewitt was pure defiant to embrace was the "comments" sections of blogs. Rumor is - he didn't even want them on his own page here on TownHall when we made the big switch.
His main concern was that some idiot would get on his blog, say something - shall we say - unfavorable to someone else. Something that might even be considered libel.
Like every other good Joe - Hugh didn't want to be forking over millions in cashola to some huckster that had his name run through the mud, just because someone went goofy on a blog post.
Well today the California Supreme Court laughed at Hugh's concern - and now every single idiotic thing imaginable WILL be said in the comment sections of blogs everywhere - and the website owner/operators will NOT be found responsible.
Imagine the justification this must give the moonbats at the Daily Kos... er wait... they say the blatently false things in their actual POSTS... er - my bad...
Well, let's go crazy anyway...
Let's start with this post... what's the MOST outrageous thing you can think of to say... leave it in the comment section below.

I can only tell you that to have Charlie Rangel propped up for the next two years as a major Democratic voice is going to be good therapy for me...
But target practice shouldn't be this easy...
Rangel actually professes that America does not have "enough patriotism" to "go to Iraq" and "stay in Iraq." It's all part of his grand master strategy to organize at least 12 votes total for his brilliant idea to bring back the draft.
See it wasn't enough for the liberals in this country to back John Kerry, when he tolds us that our troops were stupid. Now Charlie Rangel is actually seeking to make them more stupid by insisting upon people joining them that don't have the competency to get in through the normal channels.
My brother in law graduates from Officer Candidate School in a couple of weeks. THAT MEANS - he already had his college degree in aeronautics and meteorology when he went IN to the military.
So according to leading Democrats the troops are stupid, but not stupid enough so let's mix a few really stupid ones into the mix, and oh yeah - they're not patriotic enough either...
Happy Thanksgiving everybody - from the leadership of the DNC!

...get arrested.
Of course they're indignant, outraged, humiliated, disrespected... blah, blah, blah...
Are we supposed to believe that if six obviously muslim men got on a plane, all faced the same direction at an organized time and began chanting, or muttering things we didn't understand - that in THIS DAY AND AGE - we wouldn't have wanted them off the plane too?
Of course here comes the Anti-American CAIR to champion the issue for the six chanting mutterers whose doctrine calls for them to sever our heads from our bodies:
"CAIR will be filing a complaint with relevant authorities in the morning over the treatment of the imams to determine whether the incident was caused by anti-Muslim hysteria by the passengers and/or the airline crew," Hooper said. "Because, unfortunately, this is a growing problem of singling out Muslims or people perceived to be Muslims at airports, and it's one that we've been addressing for some time."
And now they're whining about the airline not allowing them to fly together on a flight back home...
Sorry bud, fly seperately. Rent a car and drive. Say your "prayers" before you get on the plane, but a word to the wise here - standing and doing the six united muttering thing will leave everyone a bit jumpy, and rather jihad-phobic.
See?
Don't ask, don't tell...

If not now - when?
With all the problems that Hillary will face to her right AND left... the party will be looking for that fresh faced rock star to take them to the promised land - and to equally unite blue dogs and blue cities...
Obama is now running in second place - ahead of Kerry, Edwards, and Gore...

Maybe Mr. Obama really should let the big boys decide how to fight the most sinister evil our nation has faced in generations. It seems to me to expose rather largely his complete ineptness in articulating ANYTHING specific that could even faintly be construed as an actual idea of how to keep us safe against such threats...
Talk about Senator Lightweight. Obama keeps this stuff up - he's going to make the Breck Girl (John Edwards) look darn presidential...

Since the University of Texas picked up its second loss a week or so ago, I really had lost any "dog" in the Ohio State, Michigan "game of the century" this weekend. But obviously there were still plenty or others who were paying close attention.
Treating my lovely bride to a day of wondering in and out of her favorite 5th Ave stores (Sax, Bendels, Berghdorfs) then to Madison Ave (Searle) I finally got to take her to dinner. Dos Caminos in Soho - best mexican fare in Manhattan. The rear wall of the restraunt had been converted into this massive television airing Ohio State v. Michigan.
I tried explaining to the Lovely Bride all about why it was such a big game... Number 1 vs. 2, the conference, and state rivalry, even the death of Bo Shembechler... she wasn't that impressed.
When we arrived the main dinner crush had not yet happened, but before we were to our main course the little two-some tables all around us began filling up. The couple that was seated next to us even lied about which team they were pulling for - just so that they could get seated more quickly.
By the way - if you're ever there (corner of Houston and West Broadway) you have to order the freshly made to order guacamole, and if they have brisket quesadias on the menu - they are a must try also...
Then we headed back uptown past the Empire State Building which was donned in red (for Ohio State) and yellow (for Michigan). Crazy...
Our experience far surpassed however, poor Steve Brown's of the Fox News Channel, reporting live on the going's on outside the game, during the game, he actually had to body check a drunk girl to keep her from stumbling into his live shot...
And of course the stupid, blonde, drunk chick was pulling for - Ohio State.

Nearly every single day someone asks me what I think about the race for President in 2008. They especially want to know who I think the nominees will be.
For the dems its easy - it will be Obama, Hillary, or Gore... none of the other also-rans have a shot at grabbing the nomination...
For the GOP its more difficult - in fact it may be easier to say who the nomination WON'T be - Guliani and McCain...
Now I know this defies traditional wisdom but Guliani can not win the nomination because he is squirrely on abortion, redefining marriage, and his marital problems... McCain can't because - well for being McCain (which includes defying the party on redefining marriage).
And that leaves the other name that has been near the top of the list for the GOP - Mass. Governor Mitt Romney. I for one remain unconvinced that a Mormon can capture the needed votes in the Bible belt to take the nomination.
But moves like this one - sure help his cause! Especially when McCain plays chicken on the issue, and Guliani is just outright opposed to it...

Some man named Dr. Kamau Kambon, who runs the Blacknificent Bookstore in Raleigh, North Carolina... and he's convinced that the only solution to racial profiling is to, "exterminate the white people..."
Just more of the tolerant left at work in America... Dr. Whuzizname's phone number is (919) 250-9110.

Why else would he be insisting on bringing back the draft?
That or maybe he wishes to lower the collective educational level of those actually serving by forcing those not as smart to join...
The intellect that Rangel, Kerry and the like bring to the military is just mystifying...

A strange combination of views. Speaking to major gay and lesbian gathering Dean says its time for democrats to work harder to get gays elected.
It's nice to see that to Howard Dean a candidate is not judged by what he believes and votes for - but rather by what kind of sex he or she likes to perform.
And how will our newly elected, "blue dog, born-again conservatives" respond to such a mandate from their party?

My column has registered in the Krazy Kos Kids diary selections now...
Besides their obvious inability to articulate a coherent response to my criticism of Obama and Warren's invite of him to speak to the gathered faithful, I find one other thing increasingly curious.
In all the hate-mail I've received today - and in the comments posted at the Kos site criticizing me, the general implication is that I am the one who is "nuts" for thinking that the partial delivery of a fully developed child, the crushing of the child's brain, the suctioning of that cranial matter, and the delivery of the child the rest of the way - is evil.
Actually they call me "insane" for thinking such a thing...
So... they think this procedure to be normal?
Wow - how did I get that so wrong?
