Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.

In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.

~George Washington

My thoughts are with these friends today. A passing of history...65 years strong...

And talk about the value system of a different generation. Some of them blame themselves for not keeping America alert for 9/11. This truly was the "greatest generation" and the fact that we are losing them so fast is heartbreaking!

God Bless Them every one...

Andrew Sullivan seems to have taken offense that I asked my six questions. (None of which he took the time to respond to actually.)

Rather he chooses to diminish my quest for truth as:

"An ideology; (that) just doesn't fit persuasively with reality. The more reality bites, the more fiercely they stick to their ideology. This is why the Christianist psyche really is the anti-conservative psyche. It is a rigid political ideology, enhanced with the certitude of religious fundamentalism, and deployed with Schmittian ruthlessness. In the end, it must fail. It will fail. And it is failing. All that remains to be discovered is the extent of the human damage it has wrought."

Yet Andy-boy... it is NOT reality. Hence the need for a donor's DNA to make the biological process possible.

THAT'S THE REALITY...

And it is one that no matter how hard you may try to eradicate - until women grow male sex organs and begin producing sperm - will not be ABLE to be ignored. (Of course if they do that - they will be considered men... )

I know Andy...

Vicious circle...

One more question - this one JUST for Andy Sully:

If Mary was not the carrier of the unborn child, but rather her partner... would the Vice-President and Mrs. Cheney legally be entitled to refer to him/her as a grandchild, barring a legal adoption? What part of Mary Cheney would have made the child a "Cheney" if the roles were switched?

A few weeks back I commented on the ludicrous idea that radical homosexual activists were using to bring same sex marriage to New York City. When they couldn't get voters to approve it, or an activist court to back it, their idea was just to "change the definition of who a person is."

By being able to alter a birth certificate to say whatever gender one "felt" they were, you could easily - without the need for silly thing like voters getting involved - more or less usurp said voters and force a redefined state of marriage upon society.

It appears that the city's health department - which had originally floated the idea - has now backed away from it.

This is wisdom...

According to Fox News Mary Cheney, the 37 year old daughter of Vice President Cheney is pregnant. She and the woman she lives with and engages in sexual behavior with - Heather Poe - are ecstatic at the news.

This development prompted some important questions...

1. How did the exclusive sexual union of these two women bring about this conception?

2. What does it mean, from a biological nature to realize that a man WAS in fact necessary for this conception to take place?

3. What does it mean to the supposed "intimacy" that "two people share" which was intended by the Creator to be a function that creates life, to be forced to include a third party?

4. Doesn't it make a rather strong statement that biologically speaking, the sexual union these two women share - is in fact, scientifically speaking - inadequate?

5. Is it healthy for a society to celebrate inadequate sexual unions that lead to everything except what it was designed to be?

6. Knowing from scientific data that children excel best when given the full and natural parental structure of one mother and one father, is it moral to bring a child into such a scenario - purposefully, simply to stroke one's own desire to have a child - sort of like a new handbag, or pair of shoes?

Would love to know your responses to these five in that order in the comment section below... (Most likely I will report your responses on my show.)

I was the first one to predict it... for five very specific reasons.

Then Rush Limbaugh seemed to agree...

Now... so does Tony Blankley, the former staffer for Newt Gingrich...

I have to tell you the Dennis Prager - Keith Ellison debate has been one that has hyped up incredible volume. And I for one say - EXCELLENT! The column that started the whole thing is here. A nice summary of the case is made by this clip from Tucker Carlson:

"You're losing me a bit..."

What an odd confession by Tucker.

I disagree with fellow Townhallees Mary Katharine Ham and Michael Medved. Dennis main construct is that since this is a symbolic action, no one man should have the allowance to destroy what that symbolism is, means, and stands for.

He is 100% correct.

Dennis responded to his more hate-filled critics today...(and for the record those do not include MKH or Medved.)

I could not help but notice the irony of the fact that not two days after I invoked reason number three as to why Barack Obama will be President in 2009, he has to go and give me some more red meat...

In quoting John F. Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan - he appears "above the fray"... (bone thrown to the moderates)

And throw this in, Obama took the time to field a question on the Sean Bell shooting, which he reasserted the excessive force view - this MONTHS ahead of the actual investigation being completed... (bone thrown to African Americans - Hillary has yet to weigh in...)

Obviously Andrea Peyser is not impressed with him. I have nothing but contempt for his actions and his record. But the media is crowning him, Soros is courting him, and the GOP is giving us NOTHING of inspiration from the other side.

I was told that Rush Limbaugh began his second hour of his broadcast today with my observations from my syndicated column. What can I say, it is flattering, truly, to hear Rush reading my column on his 800+ broadcast outlets.

If you listen to the segment, it is funny to hear Rush continue to apologize for not knowing me... as if I expected him to in some way! I was also flattered that one of my "throw-away" parenthetical comments in the column launches Rush into a two minute aside.

I also found out that Rush had actually also briefly touching on the column at the tail end of the first hour as well.

Rush is a one of a kind. And probably the best that's ever lived in the industry that we both love with all our hearts. Several years ago I appeared on Rush's show as a caller. Today I returned in his "stack of stuff" and I have to say - both events, in my little radio geek world - will be forever stamped in my consciousness.

Here's the transcript, here's the PodCAST.

Mega-Dittos Rush... YOU MuscleHead!

And for you Rushies who are new to the MuscleHead Revolution - thanks for stopping by. I would love for you to check out my "hot off the press" hardback MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking.

One of the primary contentions of my column this week is that Barack Obama will be president, in part because unlike Hillary he is not hated by those on the left in his own party. He is in fact one of the crazy left, but with a veneer of smooth, and a sense of humor that is able to crack a smile when Hillary can only scowl, he comes off as likable.

Hillary can't even look people in the eye when she's talking to them.

Well, now Obama is going directly to Hillary's turf and sniffing out what should have been hers. Last night here in New York he met with George Soros.

And here's the zinger:

One of the donors who met with Mr. Obama, and who spoke on condition of anonymity because he did not want to offend Mrs. Clinton, said that he and several others had supported Mrs. Clinton’s Senate campaigns but were not committed to her as a presidential candidate.

That doesn't sound like to me that Hillary's got it in the bag - not by a long shot.

Extreme Libs who hate John Bolton at the U.N. have finally gotten their way. He tendered his resignation this morning. But those same libs can not explain why they do...

This morning on WABC in New York, Morning Co-host and member of the lunatic left Ron Kuby let out a typically feminine, "yeahhhhhhh," when told of Bolton's resignation. When pushed to explain what he was so happy about, why Bolton was such a "wrong choice" for the United Nations, all he could do was sputter:

1. He was too controversial...

2. He said not nice things about the United Nations...

3. We can now all be happy that he will be gone...

Thus in three short ideas Kuby proved the entirety of the listening audience in New York that liberals are more worried about appearances and feelings than substance.

As even the news report contends - Bolton had strong backing from both parties, and that it was a filibuster - by an extreme group of hard leftists that never allowed his original nomination to be voted upon.

Just one more little bit of tyranny brought to you by John McCain and the Gang of 14!

Was Barack Obama a genius in accepting Rick Warren's invite to speak at his church or what? The story has now gone global, "that evangelicals are embracing Obama."

"OBAMA CONVERTS EVANGELICALS TO DEMOCRAT CAUSE"

It is because of this very reality that I believe my fifth point in my newest column is so dead on accurate. Obama will be president in 2009, and we can thank Rick Warren and other gullible evangelicals for it.

BTW... Warren was on Hannity and Colmes on Friday night. Lame interview, softball questions, and no follow-ups with any teeth to them. Warren openly contradicts himself thrice in the interview - and neither H&C pick up on it or even try. Hey Fox News Channel crew - how about next time you have the person on who brought up the specific criticisms, so that an intelligent discussion could be had? Just an idea...

2 Game lead in the NFC East... with this tough win on the road.

I am predicting the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Chicago Bears in the NFC Championship.
