"We are asking kids to believe this homosexuality is right! It is not a matter of moral principle, but as a matter of, we're educating them and this is part of what we consider to be a healthy education!"
(Because men engaged in homosexual behavior has proven to be such a "healthy" thing of course...)
Educators are going to teach children that homosexuality is GOOD whether your religious convictions, rights, and Constitutional protections are violated or not. WATCH THE VIDEOS HERE.

Sure, the entire activist community thinks its so cute. Smarmy with themselves all the way to the California State Capitol. But what do the children need?
I made brief mention of this story in my column on Sunday. (Another item that did not seem to make feminists nor gays any too happy.)
But I can not afford the luxury of picking who I offend. Children are BEGGING us for traditional values. They are scared out of their minds.
We discussed a few of the reasons why on my show today. Hour 1, Hour 2. (As a free bonus on today's show I also spent the first hour documenting the first 20 "non-evidences" that the New York Times gave us as "street-cred" towards Barack Obama's "Christianity.")
The question is - will we listen?

It is one thing for people to blatantly say, "I do not accept the terms, verbage, history, principles, or doctrine" of any given faith. No one is ever forced to accept a faith system or embrace it as their own against their will.
It is entirely a different thing to pretend to embrace something for the sure benefit of something enhancing your status as you run for President.
Today's edition of the New York Times released a most interesting "story of conversion" about Barack Obama. It is supposed to be the definitive piece of journalism that explains how he went from being more or less a secular person, to a person with a mild brush of curiosity and exposure to Islam, and then a full blown "conversion" to "Christianity".
There is but one problem. Even though the supposed "Christian" voice of Jim Wallis claims that Obama's story is one of "personal and adult choice" and one of a "conversion" story. There is not one ounce, one iota, one small piece of evidence that suggests a conversion ever took place.
There is much discussion of his reverand's "music and profanity spiked sermons," there is even more discussion of "widespread racism" and resistance against "America's unjust foreign policy." The article clearly articulates a caring relationship, one of mentoring, between Obama and his reverand. There is also much empathy towards "caring for the poor" and rejecting "America's middle classness" (which interesting enough is the single class of people who give in overwhelming numbers the MOST amount of dollars towards poverty relief, the prevention of AIDS, and dozens of other compassionate works - than any other single group of people in the WORLD, not to mention the United States.)
There is also mention of Obama's doubt of any thing like an "afterlife" and "what happened to exist before the Big Bang."
There is talk of how Obama wishes to reach out to "committed Christians" and much talk about how "church and state must be kept seperate."
But what is missing - is the very essence of Christianity itself.
A confession that Barack Hussein Obama was/is a sinner, completely incapable of redeeming himself, that he throws the entirety of his soul upon the finished work of the cross of Jesus Christ, that he accepts that compeleted work, and now dedicates his life to the TRUTH of the unchanging word of God. What is missing is his willingness to submit to the scriptural text, and to urge others to do so as well.
In short - the only things missing from Obama "conversion" to "Christianity" - is the actual conversion AND the Christianity.
A vapid conversion to a non-existent faith, speaking words of meaninglessness - the perfect "religious message" for Barack Obama in 2008.

Simple. So that they don't have to admit that women are equal.
Steve Chapman wrote this fine column yesterday at TownHall. It demolishes the fantastic lie that women are treated less than equal in the arena of pay. Read it FEMINISTS you might learn something.
But be reminded, EQUALITY is NOT what FEMINISTS are fighting for anyway. Equality is a biblical virtue, and one that every Bible-thumping Christian has always held to. SAMENESS is what the fems are after, and sameness is a bastardized substitution (and a poor one at that) for equality.
The modern day FEMINIST movement (since 1960 forward) really has absolutely nothing to do with parity between the genders. It's just a back door entry for the homosexual activists to move in on the picture of traditional (i.e. biblical) families.
And when I point these things out as I did in my new book, and in my column yesterday - it tends to make the moonbats really, really, really angry...

I will have much more to say on this in my weekly column for TownHall tomorrow. But suffice it to say it boggles my mind how we pick and choose which parents to excoriate...

I've said for years that we conservatives must admit it when the Republicans get it wrong (bigger entitlements, and lax immigration policy) and when if it ever happens - admit it also when Democrats get it right.
As I was driving to my studios midday on Friday I was hearing a radio news report that said some debate was emerging as to whether or not Jon Corzine, New Jersey (D) Governor, would be ticketed for not wearing his seat belt. A New Jersey resident had filed a complaint against him to press charges.
"Forget the ticket," I said to myself - literally out loud in the car while driving. "Are the taxpayers of New Jersey going to have to pick up the medical tab for all his injuries, milkshakes, cheeseburgers etc..."
New Jersey taxpayers will not.
The liberal governor must have had some sense knocked into his head in the crash. Miraculously - he is paying for everything out of his own treasures.
I didn't support his candidacy - but I have to admit - on this one - he's doing what's only right!

Evidently drawing great amusement out of the fact that the rest of universe sees that Clinton goes all "southerner" but only when she walks out on stage in front of black audiences - the Junior Senator from New York says:
GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton said Friday she sees her sometimes Southern accent as a virtue.
"I think America is ready for a multilingual president," Clinton said during a campaign stop at a charter school in Greenville, S.C.
(Panderbyte: a term trademarked by me yesterday. It is the use of short quippy quotes to blatantly pander to the voters in such a way so as to say, "you are too stupid to run your own lives, thus why you need us - the loony liberals of America.)

I did not know that the new ultra-high speed FiOs service from Verizon would not carry MSNBC. What's scary for MSNBC is since switching from Direct TV something like a month ago - evidently I had not watched the distant third place network (or wanted to) even once.
So last night I'm scrambling to look up what channel number it is - only to discover at this time MSNBC and Verizon have some sort of issue with each other.
Therefore - like Dean Barnett - I too did not see the live debate between the Democrats in South Carolina last night.
Listening to Chris Wallace on Fox News this morning made it sound like Hillary, Biden, and Richardson all seemed to help themselves...
But I wanted to know what the people (not the pundits) thought about the event. And that's where I was not surprised at all. Barack Obama clearly won.
Why? Well as Chris Matthews put it - he gave the most sophisticated/multi-layered explanations to the questions. The Survey USA poll based the responses on who had "heard" the debate... again - oratory being the key.
The New York Sun's Ryan Sager said yesterday on my show that he had cleverly titled the Obama run to date as the "Vapid Campaign of HOPE" and that's what is coming through.
In the Survey USA numbers not only did Hillary not win on the positive question, she placed number 2 on the question of who LOST the debate. Compared to Obama's showing, number 1 in who "won", and low negatives, Hillary's boat anchor of high negatives, and less than enthusiastic positives are remaining consistent.

They all make up parts of tomorrow's show. If you don't presently make the MuscleHead Revolution radio experience part of your daily listening then the next edition would be ideal. In Hour 1 - everything, and I mean everything you ever wanted to know about Condi Rice. Is she pro-choice? Why do black civil rights leaders insist she's a lesbian? Is she the smartest American woman to ever live? Would she ever consider being part of the 2008 ticket? Tomorrow... all will be revealed.
In Hour 2 - Marriage in New York and New Jersey is under all out attack. We have the breaking coverage from both states and some important information about this weekend that Garden State and Empire State residents need to know about. Also in hour 2 - Ryan Sager, the online editor for the New York Sun (my favorite NY daily), and Dean Barnett from right here at TownHall/Hugh Hewitt will kick off the first panel of our "Countdown 2008" coverage. McCain's announcement from today, fund raising, early primaries, libertarians vs. bible belt thumpers, it will be fast paced, hard headed campaign insight for the coming presidential race. Catch all of it by listening live right here beginning tomorrow at 2pm EST. The replay on NewsTALK WMCA can be heard starting at 5pm EST. And after 4pm EST you will be able to access the PodCAST for free by clicking here for Hour1, Hour2.

Overall I think the aim of tonight's American Idol broadcast was so admirable. It's too bad that many of the charities push population planning/abortion on the countries where they do their work. Nonetheless to get hungry children fed, and AIDS orphans needed ARV drugs is still a worthy and Biblical cause. The Lovely Bride and I would like to offer a number of additional organizations that are doing these same things and do not push the abortion envelope/condom distribution programs as part of the programs. These are charities that we give to personally - monthly, including the sponsorships of four children in AIDS stricken regions of Africa and Haiti: COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL WORLD VISION FOOD FOR THE POOR GOD'S KIDS GOOD WILL RESCUE MISSION GOOD COUNCIL HOMES CROSS INTERNATIONAL THE BIBLE LEAGUE MISSION AVIATION FELLOWSHIP Though it is nowhere near the totals that Ryan Seacrest announced by the end of the show on Idol tonight, I am both humbled and filled with gratitude that my listeners have raised more than $4.3 million for these and additional organizations in the little over three years that I have been on-the-air in New York. Feel free to start an adventure of your own by becoming a donor to any of these organizations tonight. A child's life will be changed because you did! OH YES - the American Idol "SHOCKER" - very, very angering. Seacrest nearly made the Lovely Bride break out in tears when we were made to believe that Jordan Sparks was headed home.

Though it is a mystery as to who he was pandering to, Howard Dean wins the award today for uncorking this gem:
"Politicians are incredibly careful not to say anything if they can possibly help it, except if it is exactly scripted. And if you want to hear anybody's true views, you cannot do it in the same room as the press," Dean said. "If you want to hear the truth from them, you have to exclude the press."
To quote the ever inarticulate Michael Scott, "Wh.....at does that even mean?"
More importantly just using logic: How would anybody know what the then reported "true views" were of said candidate if no one was there to report on it?

Kim Basinger, through her lawyers, has released a statement in which she denies leaking the tape of her ex-husband's angry voice-mail message to their daughter Ireland: Kim Basinger did not release the voicemail. Additionally, the voicemail was not sealed under a court order.Everybody is always asking why this custodybattle has been going on for so many years, and now they have theanswer. The issue is not about Kim or the alleged alienation that Alecconstantly refers to; it is about his ongoing aggressive behavior. Kim's sincerest wish is for him to finallyaddress his unstable and irrational behavior so he, at some point, canpotentially create a relationship with his daughter. Until then, Kim will continue to protect and safeguard herchild's well-being as any parent would.
Call me less than convinced. Basinger may in fact be walking a technically legal definition as to whether or not she "released the voicemail." If what she means is that she was not the one who physically handed the tape, mp3, etc to the TMZ website personally, then so be it. However... ultimately Basinger was the one who had control of who heard the recording, where the recording was accessed from. The voice mail had to be accessed by a specific access code, the service provider could in fact shed some light on whose code was used and how often it was used. Ultimately though she may not have personally put a tape in someone's hand and said, "run it," there is NO QUESTION that it did not get released without at least a wink and a nod from Basinger - and on that level the act is repulsive. And don't forget - Basinger is standing trial for 12 counts of violating the custody agreement that a court established between Basinger and Baldwin for access to their daughter's time.

It would be such a great thing if the other GOP nominees could get this direct about the global war on terror...“This war ends when they stop coming here to kill us!” Giuliani said
in his speech. “Never, ever again will this country ever be on defense
waiting for [terrorists] to attack us if I have anything to say about
it. And make no mistake, the Democrats want to put us back on defense!”
Giuliani said terrorists “hate us and not because of anything bad we
have done; it has nothing to do with Israel and Palestine. They hate us
for the freedoms we have and the freedoms we want to share with the
world.”
Giuliani continued: “The freedoms we have are in conflict with the
perverted, maniacal interpretation of their religion.” He said
Americans would fight for “freedom for women, the freedom of elections,
freedom of religion and the freedom of our economy.”
Addressing the terrorists directly, Giuliani said: “We are not giving that up, and you are not going to take it from us!” In saying it so bluntly, and in calling the Democrats out the way he did yesterday, Rudy does make for himself - the absolute best case for why people should vote for him. I still can't because my great hope is that even though the other GOP candidates are not saying it - I hope and pray that Fred Thompson, Mitt, or McCain would also be as aggressive. I HOPE that my "hope" is not misplaced!

(Panderbyte: a term trademarked by me yesterday. It is the use of short quippy quotes to blatantly pander to the voters in such a way so as to say, "you are too stupid to run your own lives, thus why you need us - the loony liberals of America.)
Harry Reid was "sticking with General Petreaus" before he was for "sticking it to Petreaus."
“General Petreaus has said the war cannot be won militarily, he’s said that,” Reid said. “And President Bush is doing nothing economically, he’s doing nothing diplomatically, he’s not doing anything even the minimal requested by the Iraq Study Group, so I stick with General Petreaus. I have no doubt the war cannot be won militarily and that’s what I said last Thursday and I stick with that.”
A marine stationed in one of Iraq's most violent areas responded today (in a non-panderbyte):
In raw and emotional language from the bloody front lines, Cpl. Tyler Rock, of the 1st Battalion, 6th Marines, skewered Reid for being far removed from the patriotism and progress in Iraq.
"Yeah, and I got a quote for that [expletive] Harry Reid. These families need us here," Rock vented in an e-mail...
"Obviously [Reid] has never been in Iraq. Or at least the area worth seeing . . . the parts where insurgency is rampant and the buildings are blown to pieces."
I get the feeling MANY Marines feel the need to invoke expletives when it comes to their gut reactions to hearing Harry Reid concede victory to our enemies.
