"...a faux-marriage charade, is wha-at bwings us togehvah tooh-dahy!"

The State Supreme Court issued a stay of the district court's ruling from earlier in the morning.

The Governor and Legislature now seem quite poised to pass a "defense of marriage" bill in the state assembly.

One couple was allowed to create their faux "marriage" prior to the Supreme Court's issuance of the stay.

This district judge is about to get a whole heaping state-wide slap in the face...

Steps down...

WASHINGTON (AP) - Tony Snow, the highly visible White House press secretary, will leave his job on Sept. 14 and be replaced by his deputy, Dana Perino, an administration official said Friday. President Bush was to announce the changes during an appearance in the White House briefing room.

Snow, ailing with cancer, had said recently he would leave before the end of Bush's presidency. The father of three children, Snow said he needs to make more than his White House salary of $168,000. He could earn far more money on the speechmaking circuit.

The 52-year-old Snow was a conservative pundit and syndicated talk- show host on Fox News Radio before he was named press secretary on April 26, 2006. He is the latest in a string of White House officials to head for the exits.

Friday was the last day of work for political strategist Karl Rove. Others who have left since Democrats won control of Congress are counselor Dan Bartlett, chief White House attorney Harriet Miers, budget director Rob Portman, political director Sara Taylor, deputy national security adviser J.D. Crouch and Meghan O'Sullivan, another deputy national security adviser who worked on Iraq.

In 2005, Snow had his colon removed and underwent six months of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer. This March, he underwent surgery to remove a growth in his abdominal area, near the site of the original colon cancer.

Doctors determined it was a recurrence of his cancer. He was out of work for five weeks, then returned and underwent chemotherapy, treatments that only recently concluded and have left him thinner, grayer and with less hair.

The so precisely titled "World-O-Crap" yoyos believe they are slicing and dicing me today with wounds that are near fatal...

(fake stumble, backwards, forwards, clutching of my heart) "No... how could it be..."

Complete with intimations of my lack of intelligence, closeted sexuality (again - geesh these people are so predictable, my gosh they have to be the least original people that God ever made...) and let's see... and... oh yes - these perves think it completely acceptable to keep "peeping tom laws" from coming into existence. Oh and make sure you stay tuned at the end of the post to read the comments and see for yourself the "brain trust" that reads a blog titled "World-O-Crap."

World-O-Crap indeed...

Bloggers who advocate special protections and rights based upon who someone sleeps with are throwing celebratory posts up all over the blogosphere - because an activist judge in Iowa has again usurped the will of the people.

In doing so the Iowa district court activist judge Robert Hanson stated:

"Couples, such as plaintiffs, who are otherwise qualified to marry one another may not be denied licenses to marry or certificates of marriage or in any other way prevented from entering into a civil marriage pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 595 by reason of the fact that both persons compromising such a couple are of the same sex."

Of course what the brain-dead judge fails to see is that "same gender" peoples are not qualified to marry one another.

The ingredients that make a marriage are one man, and one woman. This particular type of union has specific merit to society... i.e. the creation of children. Society has recognized that because of this particular potential merit to society that the type of sexual union recognized as "marriage" might merit some state sanction or benefit.

To the best of my knowledge there is no other adult consensual sexual union banned by the state of Iowa, so in essence there is no threat to homosexuals per se in the allowing of society to continue to recognize the marital union as being one of particular merit to the society.

If the state so wishes to legally recognize other forms of sexual unions then THAT should be something because of its long-reaching controversial conditions that should be decided by the voters of Iowa - and not ONE ACTIVIST JUDGE.

The voters of Iowa mus feel rather victimized today knowing that one judge believes he knows better how Iowans must construct their culture and society than them.

Those involved in the case that defended the plaintiffs in the case falsely claimed that they could not be provided the protections needed legally for their unions - such as inheritance, hospitalizaton visitation rights. The reasons such claims are false is that they could reach their attorneys today, draw up the legal papers to cover such needs, and many, many, more - and thereby offer those the engage in certain types of sexual behavior with the "protections" they feel are so needed.

I predict the voters of Iowa will feel a tad outraged that they were stepped on in such a brutal fashion. I also suspect that the state's Supreme Court will find compelling interests to overturn the decision and at the end of the day - the institution of marriage will survive intact...

- Iraq WMD...at the U.N.?
- Corruption in professional tennis? Heartbreaking! And unlikely...

2:20pm:
What should we do with lying journalists? Should we just continue to sit and take it? Do we 'get what we deserve when we demand no more respect than to be told blatantly false things? Shame on the Boston Globe and its parent company the New York Times. Cancel your subscription. Today two Globe "reporters" put forward a "straight news" article that is so blatantly misreported and purposefully confusing its readers that the newspaper should fire its named reporters of the story. And of all things to misreport, they are attempting to undermine the ability of our government to sheriff out ciminal alien miscreants. Is that what you want? 800.345.WMCA.

3pm:
My take on the latest...
- The latest on Senator Craig. KMC highlights from CNN. Polling on the Senator...
- Bloomberg wants NYC to be more "hospitable"... heh whaddas he know?
- Colorado school BANS "TAG" and other "chasing games..."

3:20pm:
Is it ever advisable to enter into an "Office" romance? I got away with it - but could you? The do's the don't's and the don't even think about its of what could be the BEST or WORST decision of your life. Could you ever do it? Would you consider it? And how would you prepare yourself to survive it? I know it makes me sound like a hypocrite - but I DON'T think its probably ever a wise idea. Then again - there is my Lovely Bride... 800.345.WMCA

The Boston Globe and its apologists... err I mean "reporters"  Brian R. Ballou and Maria Sacchetti for their advocacy piece on illegal immigration should be whacked with 30 lashes each.

At least Geraldo would be proud...

Lying liars they ALL are...

Am I the only one getting tired of the blatant dishonest use of language on the matter?

Here's the opening salvo:

Advocates for immigrants accused federal officials yesterday of rounding up regular undocumented immigrants and possibly some legal residents, in addition to alleged gang members in raids in several local communities, sparking fear and mistrust that could deter immigrants from reporting crimes in the future.

"This is nothing more than psychological warfare," said Sergio Reyes, director of the Boston Mayday Coalition. Federal authorities, he said, "have a list of names and are going after only those people, but they are using this as an excuse to arrest any immigrant. It's causing fear and panic."

Look at the lie the "reporters" say in the opening line using the terms "Advocates for 'immigrants'" and followed by "undocumented immigrants." Both patent pandering and purposefully unclear to confuse the issue between immigrants who certainly have right to be here legally, and those who don't. Then to try to say that the fear among legal immigrants might not "report crimes" is bringing both irony and hysteria to whole new levels.

Not to be outdone Sergio Reyes, one of these valiant defenders of criminal aliens claims we are waging war against our own and using such things to arrest legal immigrants.

Tough NUTS Sergio... you lying liar!

And a pox on Ballou and Sacchetti for purposefully deceiving the readers of the Globe.

The Boston Globe should fire these two, and if they refuse then subscribers to the Globe should cancel their subscriptions en masse.

And lest we be the least bit surprised... this fraud is brought to us by the New York Times.

Well that ought to explain why their varsity football team will STINK in about ten years...

What the real crime here is that Colorado residents pay taxes to let these kinds of morons "educate" their children:

"It causes a lot of conflict on the playground," said Cindy Fesgen, assistant principal of the Discovery Canyon Campus school.

Rebate please...

2pm:
My take on the very latest...
- Iran: "We're ready to take over Iraq, if America would just go home!"
- Poverty rate in America - DECLINES.
- Michael Vick says he needs to turn his life "over to God." Not a bad decision... ever! But this was in record time!

2:20pm:
Senator Larry Craig, has pleaded guilty to some pretty foul behavior. Now he wants to stay in office pleading that the police misconstrued his actions in the sting operation, and that they misreported the sequence of events in their reports. But he pleaded GUILTY! Gay rights activists immediately jumped to the issue of his voting record on the homosexual issues. (His voting record has been straight up pro-family.) Should he stay or should he go? Do you believe him? I don't and I think he should go. Does it make his votes on the defense of marriage hypocritical? I don't think so... and I'll explain why! Your calls welcomed 800.345.WMCA. (THIS JUST IN - I'll be discussing this on CNN tonight at 8pm.)

3pm:
My take on the latest...
- Why is the USA STILL getting fatter, fatty, fat, fat?
- Don't get hurt OR sick in New Jersey...
- From the DUMB file: Latinos Boycott County over new laws...

3:20pm:
It's the ultimate statement of feminism isn't it? Have everything, have it all, have it now, or have it then. Is having a baby at 50 years of age smart? Is it wise? Not for the mother but for the child? What drawbacks/benefits can you see coming from such a decision? And is it adviseable to do it "on your own?" It may be the ultimate feminist accessory, shoes, bags, babies... but is it a good thing to do? 800.345.WMCA
