Long time Newt Gingrich insider Matt Towery made me laugh out loud yesterday with this headline: Hang it Up, Obama -- It's Hillary's Nomination.

I'm not saying Hillary couldn't eek out a win, but Towery's tone was silly.

As you know - I am predicting that not only will Obama win the nomination but the Presidency if the GOP doesn't get its act together. This is not the 14th post in the series giving solid reasons why.

Well, here's more fuel more for my prediction and that translates into headaches for Hillary...

Obama is aggressively reaching out - even to long time previously firmly "Hillary" committed supporters. And guess what? They aren't showing him the door, they're telling him to pull up a chair.

This bit is the fourth item I recall seeing since November documenting Obama's overtures to Hillary's pillars of foundation - in her carpet-bagging home state.

That follow's yesterday's blurb in the NYDailyNews that traced Obama's surge in Hollywood.

Remember, for the primaries - its all about the core voter - and Obama will garner 97% of the African American vote in the primary. Even Jesse Jackson who had laughably trying to appear neutral between the two a week ago is now shedding such appearances.

"All of my heart leans toward Barack," Jackson said. "He is a next-door neighbor literally. I think he's an extension of our struggle to make this a more perfect union."

"I will talk to all of them, but my inclinations are really toward Barack," he added.

And finally... after being behind Hillary by as many as 23 points, has seen his support in New Hampshire surge 27 points to now lead all DNC candidates in the first state to hold the first primary.

I made note a while back that one of the few bright spots in the November elections was that the most powerful Senator in the incoming Senate would be Joe Lieberman. Formally it had been Lincoln Chaffee.

I also watched with amazement at how graciously Lieberman went back to work with all his colleagues who had stabbed him in the back.

Well, Joementum is now fessing up - it's an awfully hard thing to do...

Imus asked Lieberman if he is a vengeful person and felt any animosity toward Dodd and his fellow members of the Democratic Party that Lieberman represented for so long.

"There’s a little of that in me,” Lieberman said. "It is very hard to forget, but you try to and you go on because you have a job to do. Chris is a good guy, he’s a credible candidate for president and I wish him well.”

As for the 2008 race, Lieberman said his new role as an independent puts him in a great position to survey the field without political commitment.

"This has all liberated me to truly be the independent that I was elected as and that’s not bad,” Lieberman said. "I’ll sit back in the presidential [campaign] and see what the field is like as we get toward the end and decide who I think can be the best president regardless of party. It’s a pleasure to sit back and watch the others go at it.”

What are we coming to as a culture?

An interesting sidebar given the fact that for the first time in American history 51% of all women now live without a husband. But that IS the primary goal of what the modern feminists wanted for society. Is it not?

And then there's this... The state of Michigan has, whether they wanted to or not, decided to make adultery punishable as a felony crime. Worst cases could be punished with up to life in prison. We discussed on the show today. (Hour 1, Hour 2)

I know there is much giggling in legal circles over the Michigan "dilemma". But my honest question here, "What's wrong with punishing adultery legally?" It is after all the violation of a legally binding contract, it damages children's lives beyond belief, and shatters the innocent spouse.

One guarantee here - if a little time in the pokey was the consequence for being an illegal poke - there would be much less of it going on.

Where's the outrage?

Lawmakers, attorneys, advocacy groups and the MuscleHead Revolution are appealing to the White House to overturn the jury verdicts of two border patrol agents, who shot a Mexican drug-runner (in the behind) on U.S. soil who was carrying 700lbs of marijuana, and in the country illegally.

Two Texas Border Patrol agents who shot a Mexican drug runner in the backside on the U.S. side of the border are hoping a last-ditch pardon from President Bush will save them from serving more than a decade in prison.

Officer Ramos and his wife

Ignacio Ramos and Jose Alonso Compean are scheduled to turn themselves in to authorities Wednesday to begin serving 11 and 12 years, respectively, for the February 2005 non-fatal shooting.

Compean and Ramos were found guilty in a jury trial of violating the civil rights of Osvaldo Aldrete Davila when they shot him in Fabens, Texas, about 30 miles east of El Paso, then tampering with evidence by picking up shell casings from the shooting.

In exchange for his testimony against the two agents, Davila was granted immunity from prosecution by the U.S. government for attempting to smuggle nearly 750 pounds of marijuana — which had a street value of over $1 million — into the United States on the day he was shot.

Several lawmakers, including Reps. Ted Poe, R-Texas; Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif.; Walter Jones, R-N.C.; Tom Tancredo, R-Colo.; and Duncan Hunter, R-Calif. last week sent a letter to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales asking him to allow Ramos and Compean to remain free on bond pending the appeal of their convictions.

The White House has welcomed review of the matter.

MUSCLEHEAD MARCHING ORDERS: I would encourage you to reach out to the White House and encourage them to do what is honorable - to let these men go free. WHITE HOUSE: 202.456.1414. E-mail at comments@whitehouse.gov...

Modern feminism has brought with it a number of side effects. Modern feminism is different than classic feminism - the right to vote, own property, do business, be paid the same amount for the same amount of work.

No one - especially conservatives disagree with the aims of the classic feminists. In God's eyes - men and women are created equal and that equality is a cherished divine gift.

Modern feminism does not advance equality - but rather interchangable sameness.  The ultimate goal is to live life by the mantra, "if it feels good do it." This mindset has said that men do not have to take responsibility for their actions, and men have gladly obliged. What this has left us with are men who are either mice, timid, scared, told where they can and can't go. It has also left us with monsters...

Like this.

Defying God's design - is always a bad idea... but it is one that modern feminists insist upon pursuing.

Exploratory Committee... will announce for President on February 11, 2007.

Summary:
1. He's thought about it...
2. Didn't expect it... "Struck by the hunger for a 'different type of politics"
3. Country is in a precarious place... health care, pensions, college for kids, oil dependence, and we're "mired in" Iraq.
4. It's not the magnitude of our problems, it's the smallness of our politics...
5. Politics is bitter and partisan - gummed up by (bad/evil) money and even (more bad/evil) influence...
6. Change our politics, come together...
7. Meaningful change always takes place at the grassroots...
8. I have great FAITH and HOPE about the future - because I believe in YOU...
9. Listening and Learning more...
10. The role a presidential campaign might play in bringing America together.

I've already documented extensively how Barack Obama is uniquely positioned to shred the Democratic primaries where he will gain 95% of the African American vote. The GOP also does not have a clear consensus message much less candidate to rally around.

Obama is JFK, Bill Clinton, and Hillary all rolled into one personality... I saw him utilize his strengths to anihilate the competition in his U.S. Senate race. And I believe he is even more keenly positioned for President.

Obama is deadly. His leftist views are the furthest left of any person who has ever run for President. His speech is soft, moving, at times nearly spiritual. His oratory will destroy Hillary and expose Edwards for the empty suit that he is.

But he will do the same in the general election as well vs. the GOP. Principle is important, turnout is vital, and the GOP better be ready to wage all out war if they even hope to stay in the same ring with Obama.

Today Gore is making news in Japan where he is asking the Japanese to embrace the idea of pressuring the United States towards cooperation in the Kyoto Protocol.

He also is publicly stating that he is not running for President in 2008.

Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore said on Monday he would not run in the next presidential race, despite rumors that he might build on the higher profile created by his environmental campaign to do so.

Asked whether he had plans to stand in the 2008 election, Gore ruled it out, adding: "I'm involved in a different kind of campaign."

During a visit to Japan to promote his award-winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth", Gore also urged Japan's top business lobby to spark a policy change on global warming by sending a strong message to its U.S. counterparts.

Dr. James Dobson, president of Focus on the Family, but speaking only for himself says he can not vote for McCain under any circumstances.

I listed a few reasons why last week...

Many headlines across the nation this weekend reported this tidbit...

At a recent meeting of activists in New York, Rev. Jesse Jackson, the first black candidate to run for president, declined to endorse Obama, saying "our focus now is not on who’s running, because there are a number of allies running.”

Rev. Al Sharpton, who ran in the 2004 Democratic primaries, said he was considering another presidential run in 2008 and observed about Obama: "Right now we’re hearing a lot of media razzle-dazzle. I’m not hearing a lot of meat, or a lot of content. I think when the meat hits the fire, we’ll find out if it’s just fat, or if there’s some real meat there.”

And singer and civil rights activist Harry Belafonte said America needed to be "careful” about Obama, the Sunday Times in London reported.

"We don’t know what he’s truly about,” Belafonte said. "He’s a young man in many ways to be admired. Obviously very bright, speaks very well, cuts a handsome figure. But all of that is just the king’s clothes. Who’s the king?”

Add all of this up to... "We don't wanna get behind him too early - just in case Hillary comes out on top and we don't wanna come up short."

Obama is expected to formally announce his intentions this week.

What may also be bothering the old guard Jesse, Al, and Harrys is that evidently the black community doesn't really need them to tell them whether or not they should like Obama or not.

As Obama spoke at two Martin Luther King Jr. events today, what he had to say was warmly received. The Chicago Tribune noted the enthusiasm:

Obama received a standing ovation at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition's annual King scholarship breakfast when the Rev. Jesse Jackson introduced him with an approving reference to the Illinois Democrat's presidential aspirations.

"It's a long, nonstop line between the march in Selma in 1965 and the inauguration in Washington in 2009," said Jackson, the coalition's founder and a one-time presidential candidate himself.

Obama said thinking of the slain civil rights leader's life was humbling, and added: "I've gotten a little attention lately, but the fact of the matter is all I do is stand on the shoulders of others."

He noted that King was six years younger than he is now when he was assassinated in 1968 at age 39.

"Whatever challenges we face are nothing like the challenges our parents and grandparents faced," Obama said. "The torch has been passed to this generation, but we haven't always taken it up. We haven't pushed the boundaries of what is possible. We have much more work to do."

The crowd enthusiastically applauded and cheered his remarks.

Here's why I believe Obama will be president in 2009...

Casual observations about last night's 24 premiere...

1. Why is it that Democrat presidents are stupid enough to work WITH terrorists... and surprise - they get betrayed when they do?
2. The political correctness storyline (FBI searchin the Islamic Americans Association) is butted against reality - both Assad and Fayad are in fact Muslim extremists...
3. Kumar can not play a terrorist underling convincingly...
4. Back to the idiot administration - Jack has told them the truth for 5 years - and never been wrong. So of course they have to disbelieve him in favor of some administration head who has "concerns"...
5. "How can we be friends if you can't even pronounce my name... it's not A-med..." (it's Kumar)

Today Drudge is throwing around the possibility that the producers over at FOX are going to introduce the idea of nuclear bombs being detonated in several American cities this year. One high ranking FOX associate saying, "we need to wake America up."

I'm kind of with him on that...

Is this is the kind of bitter, mindless, and personal back-biting Democrats are going to give us while in office for the next two years?

Senator Boxer you yourself ma'am have never been accused of being a genius. You should be honored just to be in the same room as someone as inherently brilliant as Dr. Condaleeza Rice. You're shameful, personal dig, at one of our nation's most accomplished women in either the public or private sector, is something you need to ask forgiveness for. From Dr. Rice, and the American people.

Your absolute buffoonery is a disgrace to the body you serve (the United States Senate) and it is insulting to all Americans, of every color, and from every corner.

And America is waiting...
