My good buddy (we used to attend church together and his wife and I attended the same bible study) is shaking things up in ObamaLand today.

Cisco Cotto serves at the same Salem Broadcast cluster in Chicago that used to be home to my daily broadcast before being gobbled up by New York City.

Cisco was denied access to trademark the term Obamanation... as in... "It's an Obamanation" (not to be confused with the more supportive sounding ObamaNation.)

Some federal lawyer claimed the phrasing was disparaging to the Junior Senator from Illinois.

I say "pig's eye!!!" Do you think they'd offer the same protection to "Dick Cheney", or "George Bush?"

But this could be good news. Cisco can't trademark it, bad for him, good for the rest of us. Now instead of Cisco and his lovely bride having to crank the "It's an Obamanation" t-shirts out by hand in their basement, we can order them in mass just in time for the nasty rounds of primaries.

Where is the REAL man in the world today?

That's the story in today's Daily News...

But here's the catch, a "managing partner" says Giuliani has not one thing whatsoever to do with the Chavez account. Yet Giuliani is a "title partner" in the firm.

The firm takes $5000 a month from the vile dictator who stood in New York City and called President Bush "the devil" and who claimed he could still smell the odor of sulfer from his presence there the day before...

Spin all you like - Giuliani is taking money from one of our nation's most hateful enemies...

NOT - what I'm looking for in a presidential candidate...

RUN FRED RUN!!!

If people are going to unfairly report/represent what General Pace had to say about homosexual behavior - then it's important for you to know what the senior Senator from Virginia thinks about it...

“I respectfully but strongly disagree with the chairman’s view that homosexuality is immoral. In keeping with my longstanding respect for the Armed Services committee hearing process, I will decline to comment on the current policy until after such hearings are held.”

First of all - in absolute fairness to the general, Senator Warner is misrepresenting what the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs said. General Pace condemned homosexual BEHAVIOR as being immoral, and he compared it to adulterous BEHAVIOR.

General Pace said nothing about homosexuality as a state of being. So if Senator Warner is criticizing General Pace - as he is obviously want to do - then Senator Warner is embracing unrestricted gay sex that will demoralize the morale of the troops.

Someone please tell me WHO is running against the whacky senile Senator so that I can make a donation to his opponent... PLEASE!

I haven't personally been following the story that closely. I saw enough in the headlines to understand the crude effort of what was being attempted. But two resources today will allow you to go significanly deeper on the matter of James Cameron and his fake-umentary on finding the tomb of Jesus.

Dr. Ray Pritchard spoke to the matter clearly on my broadcast yesterday. It's very much worth listening to the entire thing. His book Credo covers much of the same territory (particularly in chapter 11.)

Michael Medved also blogged on the topic this morning:

The show also displays no awareness of the religious implications of its controversial conclusions. If his followers really interred Christ under the label "Jesus, son of Joseph," wouldn't that indicate that they didn't consider him the son of God? And if they allowed his remains to decompose for a year before they sealed his bones in a limestone box, doesn't that contradict the New Testament account of a miraculously empty tomb and a Resurrection after three days?

Have you ever noticed that it is those who preach tolerance the most that exhibit the least amount of it?

A professor at North Idaho College says it's all right to talk about executing "anyone who's ever voted Republican" as long as it's said with a smile.

Is this grounds for impeachment? (h/t Karol)

President Bush, working to rebuild strained U.S.-Mexico relations, promised Tuesday he would do his best to get a deeply divided U.S. Congress to change American immigration policies that are hated south of the border.

"My pledge to you and your government, but more important to the people of Mexico, is I'll work as hard as I possibly can to pass comprehensive immigration reform," Bush said...

¿Qué el infierno santo?

General Pace needs to be supported as strongly for his right to hold his own opinion, especially on something as important as to the moral conduct we expect of military men and women, as was General Petreaus was on the issue of the surge.

Liberal Democrat Congressman Martin Meehan from Massachusetts is attempting to normalize such immoral behavior based on this errant thinking:

"General Pace's statements aren't in line with either the majority of the public or the military," said the Massachusetts Democrat.

It is the Congressman NOT the General who is out of touch with both the Public AND the Military. Just ask any of both that you cross on the street.

It takes major, giant sized, integrity to stand and speak so plainly!

The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said Monday he considers homosexuality to be immoral and the military should not condone it by allowing gay personnel to serve openly, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Marine Gen. Peter Pace likened homosexuality to adultery, which he said was also immoral, the newspaper reported on its Web site.

"I do not believe the United States is well served by a policy that says it is OK to be immoral in any way," Pace told the newspaper.

As expected the thin skinned girly-men and manly-women advocacy groups teed off immediately:

"General Pace's comments are outrageous, insensitive and disrespectful to the 65,000 lesbian and gay troops now serving in our armed forces," the advocacy group Servicemembers Legal Defense Network said in a statement on its Web site.

The group has represented some service members dismissed from the military for their sexual orientation.

By the way, the Associated (with homoerotic behavior) Press is playing its hand a bit strongly on these two stories.

Notice the top line of the quote above "by allowing gay personnel to serve openly." That makes it sound like they were just serving their country one day and Ann Coulter jumped out from behind some bush and said, "Ha faggot - we got you!"

But here in the MuscleHead Revolution one of our major points is that words mean things. And that's where the word "openly" presents the problem. If a homosexual truly identifies himself that way because of a condition that he was born under - but did not act out upon those compulsory desires then General Pace would have no issue with that person.

Just as in the second quote above the AP refers to service members being "dismmissed for orientation." WRONG! Every single one of the service members who have been asked to leave - got there - because they did not control their behavior. General Pace was not outrageous but rather very measured in his exact comments as quoted by the AP. Too bad their reporting is of such a poor quality that they were unable/unwilling to report the facts and leave the interpretation to the reader.

In a harsh slap to the incredibly decent hard working, faith-based families in the Garden State. (One of the most populous home-schooled states in the Union.

New Jersey Superior Court Judge Thomas Zampino:

"In today's threatening world, where we seek to protect children from abuse, not just physical, but also educational abuse, how can we not monitor the educational welfare of all our children?

Along with the official release of his book yesterday A Mormon in the White House, Hugh Hewitt popped in on Hannity and Colmes to flog it. He gets to take a couple of shots at Colmes which is always worth seeing.

Strangest part of the interview is where Hannity begins to equate Mormonism with Christianity. And that followed a very bad weekend for the Catholic Hannity from the National Review blog/readers. As my show runs against Hannity's in New York everyday I always like to say, "Many shows may SAY, 'Let not your heart be troubled.' But mine is the only one that can tell you why."

Hugh will be making an appearance soon on the MuscleHead Revolution broadcast. I was humbled personally not just that he also penned the forward to my new book, but by the incredibly nice things he said in doing so.

John McCain seems to dislike hanging with both social AND fiscal conservatives...

Is there any kind of conservative that John McCain WILL talk to?

UPDATE: The HILL claims its now four conservative gatherings in a row. How dumb do you have to be to claim to be one of their own and continue to diss every chance you have to seek their vote...?

According to one of my newest reviews, from one of Amazon's most seasoned reviewers - MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking - helps see through them all...

Until I read this book I'd never heard of Kevin McCullough and his MuscleHead Revolution. I'm glad we finally met. MuscleHeads aren't Democrats or Republicans. They aren't Christians or non-Christians, but a mixture of all these groups, bound together by a shared belief that we are engaged in a war for the very soul of America. MuscleHeads are concerned about values, about integrity, about looking at the facts, not just promoting opinions. They care about honor and dignity. I read chapter after chapter, thinking, "Yes, that's what I believe too."

McCullough doesn't soft pedal anything. He isn't abrasive or beligerent, but he is quick to point out what's wrong with our country and why. If you're concerned about the constant vulgarity and immoral examples being fed to our children on a daily basis, if you're tired of half truths and manipulations, fed up with downright lies, you may be a Musclehead.

Kevin McCullough's MuscleHead Revolution is well written and easy to understand. It will grip your attention and hold it from page one. We need more books like this.
