Mike Gallagher was trying to find the online version of this story for his radio audience this morning. It's about a month old but still very much worth the read.

"It's politically incorrect to even suggest that there's something about fatherhood that women cannot reproduce," says Mr. Nathanson. "And yet we know that communities in which fathers are largely absent have all sorts of problems."

It briefly touches on some of the ideas I go into much deeper discussion of in my book MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking in the chapter - "Men and Women, Equal but Different!" Argueably one of the most controversial chapters in the book.

Such ideas are not popular, but the truth they maintain needs to be told nevertheless...

The NAACP's annual grumble-fest is underway in Detriot...

This shocking news just in, Julian Bond opened the affair by... bashing Bush. (Y...A...W...N...)

“It can be said that Katrina, like lynching, not only destroyed the work of generations in a single day, but is resulting in a deliberate effort to dispossess black landholders. The problem isn't that we can't prosecute a war in the Persian Gulf and protect our citizens on the Gulf Coast at home. The problem is that we cannot do either one.”

Right... it doesn't have anything at all to do with the fact that the 9th ward probably should never have been inhabited to begin with. My father-in-law architect whose has done some fairly pricey projects for some of Southern Cal's A-listers told me long ago that the ONLY way to properly repair New Orleans and to make it inhabitable again was to get it above sea level. Otherwise you are tempting fate with more residents living in the equivalent of a cereal bowl.

But that's not all... They're also holding a funeral for the "N" word today.

But as Michelle points out, they gotta do a better job of getting the word out.

Here's one of the hottest rap songs out today. You know... the pinnacle of accomplishment... in the eyes of the NAACP. Just a few boys making their mom and dad proud, society safer, and communicating a message that will make our entire universe better!

The theme of my new column is consensus vs. unity vs. common sense, as it relates to how we deal with the increasingly large terror threat from an enemy who is getting wiser by the hour...

If consensus must be had then let it be the Muslim community who demonstrates their willingness to work with the larger society by conducting thorough internal investigations, coughing up the perpetrators, and demonstratively wiping their hands of the murderous thugs. Let us see their unique outrage that they share our pain and are willing to stand with the infidel and against their brother - for the cause of justice... consensually speaking.

Read it at the risk of thinking more clearly in these dangerous times.

He's not even in the race yet... but he leads the GOP race for President. He's not in the race yet - but the all but coronated frontrunner for the DNC can only tie him at best. And for all the nay-sayers... don't put too much stock in the state polls that Romney is spiking right now. (He's the only one spending money on TV at present... THAT will change. And when it does it is likely that when all the messages are side by side Romney will poll similarly in the state polls to what his national numbers reflect. Add to that the woeful GOP lack of funds and its clear he need more than money to win.)

All of which are excellent reasons why... it's good to be FRED.

Question: Has he officially picked up the mysterious, "because he can win..." word of mouth that catapulted W. to the top in 2000?

I admit it was extremely circular reasoning but it seems like Fred is the only candidate that is in fact spreading in popularity based on word of mouth. Plus that old fashioned Reagenesque idea of "speaking directly to the people." (Which he does here on TownHall, far more often, and far more consistently than ANY other candidate running.

The Declaration of Independence after all is the most important document in our nation's history!
