Is this a peek into what becomes of "Phony Soliders?"

Naturally they grow up to be "Phony War Heroes" and get elected as liberal democrats to office.

A real doozy here though - the mayor of Atlantic City - just went missing after signing over power to a subordinate about a week and a half ago.

Turns out some less than flattering facts were being uncovered about his claims of military service. For instance saying he had served as "special forces" to bump his military benefits up by some $25,000.

In recent weeks, it was reported that the United States attorney for New Jersey, Christopher J. Christie, was investigating whether Mr. Levy has improperly collected pension payments by claiming that he served in the Special Forces. According to the news accounts, the designation would entitle him to an additional $25,000 in military benefits.

Now the state Democratic Party is whining for help from the state to help intervene in the matter.

It is being rumored now that the "Phony Green Beret" will resign shortly...

Without question this is one of the oddest things that both myself and the Lovely Bride ever set eyes on. Evidently at the discretion and urging of the Filipino political system, one of the most overcrowded prisons has taken to a new endeavor to develop reform - live group choreography.

MSNBC has done a bit on it, and their collective YouTubes now number in the 10's of millions of views. Where they've done "The Hustle", "Thriller", "Mambo", and even "Gregorian Chant."

It seems really, really, wierd... but it appears something the inmates have definitely taken to. Will it correct their crime filled aways after they are "out?" Who can know - but it seems peeps can not stop watching... Gregorian Chant?

Just finished your book; excellent examples of why we need to be alert to that Diabolical Dagger Society crowd. It seems that all of the main-stream media want to snow us with the garbage that will only bring down this great nation. History demonstrates that in the past even the great Roman Empire came to ruin because of the hubris and wanton immoral behavior. The "Just do It" crowd must not win this war; and yes it is a war just as the "War of Terror" is the same.

Because I have been occupied extensively ALL WEEKEND with things that kept me busy - and were far more important than radio, column writing, or blogging - I'm just reading and hearing about Obama's FaithFest from this weekend.

In a word - it's bunch of - and let's be technical here: "Hoooooey."

He's no more a Christian than I am the head of an African American household.

(Uh on second thought, since my adopted special needs son is black - maybe I'm more of that than he is a Christian after all...)

Read some of his quotes here and you can easy enough spot the "Phony Christian" easily. (Hey - maybe this is how I can finally be condemned on the Senate floor...) Anyway - the "Phony Christian" did a lot of yelping and hollering - but I will break down for you exactly why he is a phony and not a Christian - at least on the basis of these benign statements later this week... probably tomorrow.

The phrase, "when lips move" comes to mind.

This little bit of good news for future television viewers of America:

In his statement, Craig said he will not run for a new term next year.

But in the meantime, he said: "I will continue my effort to clear my name in the Senate Ethics Committee - something that is not possible if I am not serving in the Senate."

The ethics committee has already signaled it is reviewing the facts of Craig's case, taking the step after the Senate Republican leadership requested it.

Craig's decision to stay and fight raises the strong possibility of public hearings - virtually certain to be televised live - centered on the issue of gay sex.

When the charges first surfaced, Craig said he would resign by Sept. 30. But then he decided to attempt withdrawing a written guilty plea in August to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. He said he would stay in office at least until a judge ruled on that bid.

"Because the defendant's plea was accurate, voluntary and intelligent, and because the conviction is supported by the evidence ... the defendant's motion to withdraw his guilty plea is denied," Hennepin County Judge Charles Porter wrote.

Ok, it was the American Flag instead of Michelle's beautiful pucker, but you get the idea...

So I wonder if he's going to remove the presence of those great big GINORMOUS things hanging on the wall behind him too?
