Senator Larry Craig has officially turned into a putz. Is that the right word?

He is a man who evidently can not be sexually satisfied by his wife, serves as embarrassment to his party, sits as mockery to his nation, and insults his own reputation by claiming he "never knew what he was signing."

The judge said he did... and that he can't renig on his plea of guilty - all of which I predicted on CNN:

Now in a move that is as bold and as arrogant and as stupid as nearly every other move this sorry excuse for a man has made in the last several months has basically said to the U.S. Senate, "up yours, I'm going no where."

Mitch McConnell needs to take him to the woodshed and read him the riot act. He is a stain not completely dissimilar to that which was deposited on Monica's dress, but what's worse is he is too dense, daft, deranged, or DUMB to notice it.

It will be just such a move that will most likely enflame democratic opposition to him in the election and in all liklihoood cause his seat to turn in the next election. If he had stepped down the Governor of Idaho could have at least HAND PICKED the idiot's replacement and given the GOP a decent shot at holding on to the seat.

It's obvious that Senator Happy Feet cares only about himself. It is a sad day for the people of Idaho, the voters of the Republican party, and the citizens of the United States of America.

We have the right to expect our politicians to be neither corrupt dishonorables, nor complete morons - sadly Senator Larry Craig is proving to be an expert in both arenas.

First there was this: God Bless the Brits for calling a lying spade... a horse's behind!

Stewart Dimmock said the former U.S. Vice-President's documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, is unfit for schools because it is politically biased and contains serious scientific inaccuracies and 'sentimental mush'.

But now CNN goes piling on! YES!!!!!!

The Lovely Bride and I got into an argument over it just two nights ago. Ann Coulter said this in a recent interview. Her conclusion being that if the right to vote was taken away for women - the Democrats would never win another election. There is no doubt she is right. But why is that so? There are many clear thinking women who weigh the issues, and understand the morality of today's life - aren't there? So why is it that liberals, particularly liberal Democrats take women for granted and treat them like dirt? And nothing is dirtier or more vile than when liberal women begin joking... some would say harassing each other. Whoopi is as vile as can be found - yet she is this way in the world's MOST "supposedly mature" female venue on earth - THE VIEW. I actually felt somewhat sorry for Nancy Pelosi. Why are today's liberal women like this? And if the right to vote WAS taken away from women, would it lead to better government? What do YOU have to say about it Ladies? 800.345.WMCA.

Yeah - THAT Kevin... not me...

Peeps,

Well I have some good news from the home offices of Dunder Mifflin. Last Thursday night, THE OFFICE scored it's best ratings in the history of the show. Against 2 very popular shows, (CSI and Grey's Anatomy) THE OFFICE actually had more men between the ages of 18- 34 than either of those programs. That is a very big deal for the mothership. So it appears as though we will be on at 9pm/ 8pm Central for a while to come.

Now the questions are:  Why only men? Where are the women? Still watching Grey's Anatomy? AND Will people come back and watch this week?

We will see. But it was good news in Week 1.

Also, many people have asked... How is the Fantasy Football going? Well, I am happy once again to report... My record is now a very healthy 4- 0. I have defeated Jim, Dwight, and a couple of other folks that you would not know. This week I battle Andy, who had the Number 1 pick in our draft, and thusly has LT. I predict a 5-0 record, and a coast into the playoffs for Kev's Accountants. Ronnie Brown makes me look oh so freaking smart. And Peyton is the man.

On the footage this week on our little show, Ryan returns to our office and tries to bring us into the digital age of modern technology. I am all for it. Bring it on. If it makes my job easier, then I say... let's do it. Makes sense, right?

We will be on for ONE FULL HOUR once again. As we will for the next 3 weeks. So don't, whatever you do, don't turn off the tv as 9:30. Cause then you will miss some of the footage.

Thanks to Matt's exclusives here at TownHall we heard from Mr. Viguerie earlier this week. I will have an exclusive with the Family Research Council's Dr. Tony Perkins today on the broadcast. But this morning Dr. James Dobson broke his silence on the message coming to the candidates from this past weekend's "Council for National Policy's" national meetings:

Two themes emerged. BEAT RUDY in the primary:

After two hours of deliberation, we voted on a resolution that can be summarized as follows: If neither of the two major political parties nominates an individual who pledges himself or herself to the sanctity of human life, we will join others in voting for a minor-party candidate. Those agreeing with the proposition were invited to stand. The result was almost unanimous.

The other issue discussed at length concerned the advisability of creating a third party if Democrats and Republicans do indeed abandon the sanctity of human life and other traditional family values. Though there was some support for the proposal, no consensus emerged.

Speaking personally, and not for the organization I represent or the other leaders gathered in Salt Lake City, I firmly believe that the selection of a president should begin with a recommitment to traditional moral values and beliefs. Those include the sanctity of human life, the institution of marriage, and other inviolable pro-family principles. Only after that determination is made can the acceptability of a nominee be assessed.

And the other... CHRISTIAN LEADERS ARE AS UNITED AS EVER.

One other clarification is germane, even though unrelated to the meeting in Salt Lake City. The secular news media has been reporting in recent months that the conservative Christian movement is hopelessly fractured and internally antagonistic. The Los Angeles Times reported on Monday, for example, that supporters of traditional family values are rapidly “splintering.” That is not true. The near unanimity in Salt Lake City is evidence of much greater harmony than supposed. Admittedly, differences of opinion exist among us about our choices for president.

That divergence is entirely reasonable, now just over a year before the national election. It is hardly indicative of a “splintering” of old alliances. If the major political parties decide to abandon conservative principles, the cohesion of pro-family advocates will be all too apparent in 2008.

"It's hard not to be defensive," she told People magazine in her first solo interview. "To think back on how hard you've worked, and all anybody thinks about is that you're a trophy wife."

In a story for Monday's issue, Thompson said: "I almost think they had to fabricate that trophy-wife stuff because there's nothing interesting to say."

Call me really radical but if you purposefully infect someone with a terminal disease... you should fry!

"He carries a 'pretty big stick' here in Miami Beach which is attractive for some people," said Bobby Hernandez with the Miami Beach Police Department. "Unfortunately he could have used that big stick, or attractiveness, to lure these women in to have sex with them and unbeknownst to them he has HIV."

President Bush:

"If we left before the job was done, there would be chaos," Bush said about withdrawing U.S. troops prematurely from Iraq. "Chaos would embolden not only the extremists and radicals that would like to do us harm, but it would also embolden Iran. What you don't want is to have a nuclear arms race taking place in the Middle East."

He denounced Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his remarks about destroying Israel.

"In Iran, we're dealing with a country where the leader has said that he wants to destroy Israel," Bush said. "My belief is that the United States will defend our ally Israel. This is a leader who has made very provocative statements. And, we have made it clear, however, that in spite of that, we are willing to sit down with him, so long as he suspends his program."

"In other words, it's his choice, it's not mine anymore. So I believe that's the best way to achieve an objective," the president added.

"If your question is, will you ever sit down with them? We've proven we would with North Korea. And the answer is yeah, just so long as we can achieve something, so long as we are able to get our objective."

-Click Picture to Watch News Footage-

Channel 4 Reno, Nevada received a call from a viewer who said a business near downtown Reno was flying a Mexican flag above an American flag... which is in fact illegal.

This, after photos and comments about the flag were posted on Craigslist this morning. When they were able to have a photographer go and check everything out they found the story to be true.

It also didn't take long before the situation provoked a strong reaction. They are now showing you , unedited, what happened. Click on the video to see what happened.

(Ah... to be fresh out of my freshman com classes again, and cover breaking news...)

Russia is turning into a menace... again:

Russia's military space commander vowed to retaliate with an arms race if any country started putting weapon systems into orbit, he said in remarks published on Wednesday.

"We need to have strong rules about space, to avoid its militarization and if any country will place a weapon in space, then our response will be the same," Space Forces Commander Colonel-General Vladimir Popovkin told the newspaper Trud.

Popovkin's remarks were the latest in a series of increasingly assertive statements from the Russian military, which is alarmed at what it sees as a growing hardware imbalance with the West.

Stung by NATO expansion up to Russia's borders, President Vladimir Putin has given notice that Russia intends to pull out of a treaty limiting conventional forces in Europe.

Tensions between Russia and Washington have deepened over U.S. plans to rekindle the stalled "Star Wars" program from the 1980s with a new generation of missile defense shields.

Popovkin said no country had the right to declare itself the master of space, so strike forces shouldn't be deployed there.

He avoided naming names but his comments follow growing friction over space between Moscow, Washington and Beijing. Earlier this year China tested an anti-satellite missile and the U.S. has been developing weapons which can hit satellites.
