Gay Bloggers are seething over another of the hosts who had the gall to say that she would be very upset if a school encouraged her son to cross dress, but that comes long after Melina Kanakaredes from CSI:NY proudly states - as though it is as normal as breathing that she would be glad to give her son a doll, and that if he so wished to dress up in the princess dresses in the classroom dress up area... hey - even better.
Oh yes - she also doesn't like the idea of someone giving her son a gun - even a play one... The current Vegas odds are 65 to 1 that her son "comes out" before age 12...
All in a day's work in the human social experiment known as "The View."

 "Hi... Daddy?"
The nation didn't get to see this side of President Bush often enough... He says so much, with so few words - about what he obviously feels for his wife and daughter... Billy-Jeff will simply be left confused by it - but here's your mid-week "sweet."

"Due to overwhelming demand, we are moving to a larger venue so everyone who wants to join us can attend."
When did Hillary EVER have to move an event because there weren't enough seats? It is OBVIOUS that Obama scoring Oprah DEFINITIVELY outbags Hillary's use of former President who would be her future first lady...
What a different universe the Democrat primary is!

"Stuffing the straw poll ballet boxes..."
Given that it's now been demonstrated that my theory of instability being demonstrated by many of Ron Paul's supporters "The PaulPots" is proven true. Consider their tactics...
They believe that straw polls reflect their candidate's prayer of a chance of getting to even 10% in the polls. They defend this by telling me again and again - as though I didn't hear them the first time - that Ron Paul has won nearly every straw poll he has entered.
So my question to all the nutcase, crack'd head, PaulPot whack jobs... why do you not show up in ACTUAL polls where you get to only vote once per person? Hmmmmm?

...with benefits!
"...because the sex part is already 'out there'!"
Turns out the "FWB" label is a dream, and ideal come true... heh not so much:
The Michigan State study found that friends with benefit relationships often reach the point where one friend starts to develop feelings for the other, but only one-tenth of these arrangements actually end in a full-scale romance and unreciprocated feelings can lead to the demise of the friendship.
Wow I'm so glad they comissoned a study to find out that people get hurt by having meaningless sex with people they don't want to be emotionally committed to. Maybe we should also comission a study to show that in 9 out 10 of those "unreciprocated feelings" issues was the woman developing feelings for the guy, only to have the guy say, "Nahhh" not for me.
It wouldn't, couldn't, shouldn't have anything to do with the way we are made... could it?
But why would ANYONE think that feelings would develop? We're just evolved apes right? Nothing unique here... mate like rabbits and be on your way...
Darn those unreciprocated feelings... they tear the whole humanist manifesto apart.

"Buh Bye to REAL New York Radio..."
Please forgive my random and harsh critique of one of my competitors WABC - formerly the "most listened to newstalk station in the nation."
When I first came to New York for my first visit, on a blind date - with whom I had been set up, a leggy blonde pundit who is rather familiar in conservative circles, the first bit of radio I was exposed to was the WABC morning show - Kurtis and Kuby. Years later when they added the legendary Warner Wolf, and of course their all-too-dry morning news voice George Webber - they had an absolute combination of News and what was happening and opinion from nearly every New Yorker's perspective.
Citadel bought the legendary station this last year - and railroaded Program Director genius Phil Boyce into dumping the Kurtis/Kuby show - which had previously beaten Imus like $2 streetwalker in every ratings book in recent memory.
This morning on my way to work at New York's original talk radio station - my flagship AM 570 WMCA, I was treated to one of Imus' regular guests - some forensic scientist - who took her leisure dumping on the family of Billy Graham, who I might remind you just lost the love of his life Ruth in June of this past summer.
Classless, tasteless, garbled speech patterns that hardly anyone can hear on an AM frequency - Imus on WABC is the radio equivalent of being served the contents of the camel's cud after having previously being given premium filet...

"C'mon Kev... show Huck a lil love..."
Regular reader and fellow MuscleHead Jason (in responding to my noting the Trust-Huck pro-Huckabee push polling) takes me to task:
C'mon Kevin... I've read your blog for a long time, and thoroughly enjoyed your book. I've never known you to accuse people of being part of a conspiracy with absolutely no evidence whatsoever. Who knows if it was Huckabee, another Republican candidate, or someone else altogether. I've always known you to be honest and straight forward, and attacking credible Republican candidates for these sorts of things is counter-productive.
Jason, in all fairness you're right I do NOT like to accuse people of conspiracy. Although I have oft imagined what some could be envisioned as and I have publicly speculated about Huck's alignment and what botheringly to me seems to be now covering for Rudy that does, does, does, concern me.
Let me be as transparent as possible. I have not publicly announced who I am pulling for. I have not released an endorsement in the GOP primary. The fundamental reason I have NOT done so is because I want to be as critical as possible until I have as much clarity as I can obtain on who the purest conservative is with a legitimate shot at winning.
My basic mentality is "Anyone but Rudy." There is fundamentally little difference in Rudy's position on a number of issues with Hillary.
They both pose as hawks... They are both pro-abortion... They are both pro-gay marriage... They both seek to limit guns... They both would see the increase of illegal aliens in the United States as a positive thing... They both would continue the practice of sanctuary cities... They both have questionable judgement as has been evidenced in a variety of choices they have made... both personally and publicly.
What is the fundamental difference in screening the women you will allow your spouse to bed, and bedding someone in the Hamptons who is not your spouse - while still married to someone else?
What is the fundamental difference in character between using the IRS to audit your political enemies - and using the police and extremely questionable methods of billing to provide security for a person the state bears no responsibility for - your shag choice of the week?
Rudy is a non-starter for conservatives period. And the possibility that he would work covertly to bring down the most well funded conservative counterpart still fascinates me.
I like Huck. I introduced him at CPAC. I've had him on my show and will have him again shortly. His lack of organization to ultimately beat a Giuliani candidacy from Florida to Michigan to Super Tuesday has me extremely concerned. The better he polls in the later states the more I begin to warm to him.
But it has been Huck's own shading of the story that has also caused me concern. He has been very complimentary of Rudy - and refused to answer a question on This Week on Sunday that last summer he had no problem answering. And the only reason that can come to my mind is that a deal has been made.
Dollar for dollar - I want the conservative that will deprive Rudy the nomination - PERIOD! Even with his impressive surge - the lack of Huck's ground game causes me to think that his short term popularity might be serving the enemies of true conservatism more than we conservatives ourselves.
And on that I am confused and frustrated and sorely out of sorts with the entire process.
If Huck would denounce Rudy - then he would put these conspiracy ideas of a VP slot to bed. But he has yet to do so - and I know because I'm watching closer than anyone.
Convince me that Huck can beat Rudy. Show me how he can in Florida, Michigan, and Super Tuesday where the BIG MONEY pays HUGE PRICES for BIG TELEVISION in New York/New Jersey/California - then you might convince me to take the step and get on the Huck-Wagon.
Right now my ONLY focus is "ANYONE BUT RUDY" and right now at present - with their positions nearly identical. Both good on taxes - but not perfect. Both questionable on immigration - but would likely pull their heads out of the sand and get it together. Both ROCK SOLID on abortion, judges, marriage. Both FIRMLY committed family men. To me the trade off on going Romney vs. Huck, or Huckabee vs. Mitt - is seeming very very small.
Therefore I have to constantly be thinking two to three steps ahead of the game. And right now Huck has NO game after South Carolina.
Show me how he takes it to extra innings - then we can talk...
Until then - my angst continues.

"I'm not happy with abortion period..."
Even though the Paulpots won't acknowledge it, I am on record as liking some positions held by Congressman Crabby. His articulation on 'The View' today was one of the smartest defangings of the pro-abortion position I've seen. He even get's Joy Behar to admit that abortion is murder - take a listen. (H/t: Allah) Bonus - Whoopi gets faced for her ignorance on the abortion issue...

Iran threat lowered by NIE... Woman found 'Not Guilty' in internet message 13 year old's suicide...
2pm: Christians have done an exceedingly bad job of defining ourselves and how we live and what we believe to the world around us if Barbara Walters can't even tell the difference. "Would Americans riot if we allowed a kindergarten teacher to name a bear 'Jesus'?" The shrews on 'The View' then spent the time disecting the issue in their own ways. And while it is one of the silliest conversations I've ever heard of for American television - it begged the question of real Christians, "Why are we living so poorly that the great reporter Barbara Walters can't see the difference?" The V-man disagrees with me saying he believe's it is the squelching of the truth in the non-believer's life that causes them not see the difference - but I firmly believe it is ineffective Christians causing the disconnect. 800.345.WMCA.
Divorce contributes to Global Warming...
3pm: Survey says, "people prefer couples where the women keep their trap shut!" But why? Scientists say it has to do with negative stereotypes of being anything other than the traditional norm. I struggle - or at least used to struggle with this a bit more than I do now. I generally prefer to listen to the conversations when we go out to socialize. When I am dragged into the conversation I will even qualify it by saying, "do you really want my honest opinion" - because of what I do for a living. How do people in your own circle of friends fit into this survey? Think of the couples you have in your inner circle - are they dominated by overly verbally dominant women? If you do have a negative reaction to such couples - does it have anything to do with how the woman communicates? And I'm asking these questions of both men and women... 800.345.WMCA.

A new pro-Huckabee group called "TRUST HUCK" is robo-calling the gadzooks out of Iowans. And now me wonders if pro-Huck forces might have been the source for those Romney push-polls a couple of weeks ago?
Of course the Huck-Wagon is saying, that they are um... "counterproductive..." yeah... that's it...
