Listen "LIVE" - 2-4p EST Listen ON DEMAND anytime!
2pm: Innocent people act in certain ways, so do guilty ones. John Edwards seems to be acting like a guilty man. Trying to keep the bases covered and all the balls juggling in the air at the same time causes one to miss a few things here and there. The most telling thing about the National Enquirer's claims - is that Edwards is acting guilty. 800.345.WMCA.
2:45pm: We qualify our next finalist for the Lord's Diamonds Thursday Christmas Gift!
3pm: Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant and you know oh well, sometimes things just happen right? That shouldn't disqualify Jamie's mom from writing a book on parenting. I mean she's always been a good kid right? Never missed a curfew right? So mom let's the 19 year old boyfriend move in - its all good. Friends sometimes we need judgement in making choices as parents. Or do we - I guess we're just all victims here. 800.345.WMCA.
3:55pm: The McCULLOUGH PUNCH Holiday cards that shouldn't be...!

...if this is even CLOSE to being true...
My original post from last night is below. The Enquirer has now updated the info they have on the case. Eerily similar I might add to the discovery of both Lewinsky AND Rev. Jesse Jackson's love child, the players involved - if behaved as reported in the context of the story as it presently sits looks very guilty.
Edwards' close associate relocating the pregnant woman? Edwards' close associate taking the blame for the pregnancy? And Ms. Reille - who the Enquirer actually credits bloggers for outing - seems to be marching to the orders of what the Edwards' camp told the press. BUT a confidant of the woman involved - who (in all fairness) the Enquirer does leave nameless - has put together a timeline that seems pretty damning.
What it smells like to me is that Edwards' IS likely guilty of this indiscretion, and is in all out crisis management of the details and HOW the story is going to be told...
A DNA test on the baby will be the only thing that will decide the matter...
AND IF EDWARDS' is innocent - he should immediately do two things. File a lawsuit against National Enquirer AND welcome a transparent DNA test of his own.
That is how a truly innocent man would react. Especially in his case because of the weight this thing could level against Elizabeth in her state of health...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The BRECK Girl had already been making his cancer stricken wife put up with his running for office instead of shutting everything else in life down and tending to her needs. And if stress, and emotional trauma contribute to cancer's acceleration - life every oncologist will tell you it does...
Man oh man did Obama just hit the windfall...

Two takes on this treatise...
Exhibit A:
 "...following in sis' shoes..."
Bitter - Exhibit B:
 "Not the M&M's"
We will all face disappointments in life - many of our own making - whether its locking away the very thing we wanted and having to fork over the sacrifice for what is necessary to access it, or having something we didn't want land in our lap we can usually trace the decision back to something we could have thought of, should have thought through, and would have done differently.
It's also my own personal belief that for the most part it is the extent that the parent's are involved in the girl's life that determines whether they face the crisis of the candy coated chocolates, or the truth that can not be candy coated that life will now forever be different...
What are we doing for or to our kids... something we NEED to think about!

 "I'll spam you!"
Paul’s campaign has attracted “an imposing collection of Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, Holocaust Deniers, 9/11 “Truthers” and other paranoid and discredited conspiracists.” It may not be a case of birds of a feather, but it’s at least a case of lying down with dogs and getting up with fleas. Moreover, “the behavior of Ron Paul supporters (spamming blogs that reference their candidate with fund-raising appeals and flaming anyone who actually dares to express substantive disagreement) frequently alienates far more potential friends than it attracts.”

 "self respect...foreign concept"
I have, let's see, NO friends that don't have sex with a guy within the first week of dating him. It is a myth that men are more into sex than women in relationships. If anything, from what I have experienced and heard from my friends is it is quite the opposite.
Actually the girl's confused... that doesn't make you a feminist... it makes you a prostitute!

 "I--hhhh just lihhhke to lihhhhhhhe"
Boy did CNN do some nice spin/damage control for their channels' namesake. All morning long on NewsTalk radio - this "idea" of Billy Jeff's was being promoted as though the deal had already been inked.
Turns out Billy Jeff is so out of touch with actual reality that he can no longer determine the difference between when he HAS spoken with someone...or... not:
"Well, the first thing she intends to do, because you can do this without passing a bill, the first thing she intends to do is to send me and former President Bush and a number of other people around the world to tell them that America is open for business and cooperation again," Clinton said in response to a question from a supporter about what his wife's "number one priority" would be as president.
But live from planet earth came HW's actual response and feelings on the matter:
Former President Bush’s chief of staff Jean Becker said that he “wholeheartedly supports the President of the United States, including his foreign policy. He has never discussed an ‘around-the-world-mission’ with either former President Bill Clinton or Sen. Clinton, nor does he think such a mission is warranted since he is proud of the role America continues to play around the world as the beacon of hope for freedom and democracy.
 "...read my lips..."
Honestly... what kind of half-crazed-self-inflated ego do you have to have to believe that someone's not going to call you on this kind of gamey action?

 "Truther Stooge?"
Bryan asked "Is Ron Paul a stooge for the CIA?"
Well the Truther is at least to the tune of $22, 250.00 worth!
"C'mon snarkers let's get the crackpot party started!"

How long will Drudge keep the "Ugly Hillary" pic on the homepage...? Heck Rush, Imus and the rest of talk radio have made such a deal of it. And after all it's so fetching... (If I were him I'd find a way to keep it there at least until Iowa!)
Beginning now in the comment section - make your prediction. Closest guess to the actual date and time of removal of Hillary's pic gets an autographed book.

 "words mean things..."
Jill Stanek correctly opines:
"Make love not babies." Isn't that an acknowledgement by A&F that human life begins at conception? Otherwise the shirt would have read, "Make love not fertilized eggs," or "Make love not embryos," or "Make love not blobs of tissue," or "Make love not unwanted appendages," or "Make love not pregnancy." Hey, this is fun.
Actually Jill has quite a t-shirt theme going on her widely respected Pro-Life blog.

 "Man of the Year!"
Hugh scribes this morning:
"Man of the Year" is right around the corner, and it is so obvious that General David Petraeus and the men and women of the American military are right choice that not even Time will screw this one up.
Victory is a wonderful thing, and they have brought Iraq and its allies victory.
Anyone one who disagrees, objectively speaking is an analyst not to be trusted. (Or a Ron Paulpot/Covert MoveOn'er - take your pic.)
