2pm: It has an "M" rating for "Mature." It is violent, bloody, contains an "ark", religious prophecies and is considered a "thrill kill" video game...Halo 3 is also now being used by churches to reach young people... and I love it! "Halo Nights" have become the rage with local church youth groups, or "Halo Halls" for youth in after school hours. Some serve pizza, teach a bible lesson, and then turn on the video games. Churches that aren't doing it formally do have staff members that are in essence trying the same thing. 800.345.WMCA.
3pm: Mike Huckabee said in 1988 "Government knows it DOES NOT have the answer, but is arrogant and acts as though it does. AND Church DOES have the answer but cowardly denies that it does and wonders when the world will help." Many Christians say its the government responsibilities to solve man's problems. The church KNOWS its their obligation. "The reason we have so much government is because we have so much broken humanity, and the reason we have so much broken humanity is because sin reigns in the hearts and lives of human beings instead of the Savior." 800.345.WMCA.

Muslim bent on taking over the world...
I bet Hillary's getting pretty steamed... uh - oh - not on the idea that people are spreading the "Obama is a Muslim" e-mails, but that they keep getting caught, and then she is "forced" to cluck in disgust and call for their resignation... I mean - HOW is she going to be able to get that rumor out if she keeps having to let people go?
WINK, WINK!

...In this, the heart of Cuban-American country where Fidel Castro is still ostracized, Paul was loudly booed when he called for improved relations with Cuba.
"We're at a time when we need to talk to Cuba and travel and trade with Cuba," he said...
...The candidates, with the exception of Paul, denounced Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez as a a tyrant...

 stigmatized
In the public health history of fighting infectious disease we've always attempted to isolate the cases of new, particularly dangerous infections. But from the beginning - and primarily because people knew the general BEHAVIOR that caused AIDS - government, and good public health policy did not co-exist.
Instead of facing the wrath of a very loud and angry outcry from a very small minority of people... We let the PC police convince our public health officials to not even require notification of infection to one's sex partners.
Dr. Cary Savitch is not an evangelical, (not even a religious person as best I can tell), but IS one of the leading experts on the matter, AND was the doctor of record for many of the first AIDS patients in the greater San Francisco area where we saw the outbreak come to large numbers first in our nation...
His book is an absolute must read on the subject... it is factual, honest, and perhaps most important - compassionate. Your view of AIDS and our response to it - WILL CHANGE if you walk in the shoes of the doctor who first faced the virus!

What voters would Rudy attract that WILL NOT vote for Huckabee? (Club for Growthers - compared to Hillary/Obama? Not likely. Radical Homosexual Activists? Possibly... Pro-Aborts - again compared to Hillary/Obama? Not going to happen...)
What voters would Romney attract that WILL NOT vote for Huckabee? (In the General election sense, it seems difficult to imagine anyone attracted to Romney that wouldn't prefer Huckabee over an Obama/Hillary choice...)
What voters would Huckabee attract that Rudy will not? (Anyone with ethics, concern for integrity of the person leading the nation, someone who thinks it's actually moral to still be married to his first wife, Gun owners, pro-lifers, an energized base for a true social and moral conservative...)
What voters would Huckabee attract that Romney might not? (Southerners and church-going African Americans, Latinos, and some Evangelicals... Not because Romney's policies oppose those groups - they actually are as strong as Huckabee's but where is Romney's coalition to the African American and Latino groups?)
Bonus: Hugh believes this is a silver bullet at Huckabee. He also believes because someone or two someones on the other side says something nice about one of your guys it suddenly reflects poorly on your guy. Question Hewitt: If Frank had said something nice about Mitt would that automatically cast suspicion over Mitt? Would it question his abilities? Would it question his strategies?
I'm ALL FOR supporting your man. I've not yet endorsed a candidate and am still actively watching each step they make... But policy positions and action plans are going to be what I TRUST voters will make their judgements on - and NOT because some columnist somewhere said one thing or the other about him...

"I was FOR waterboarding before I was against it!"
And so were Congressional Democrats going back to 2002. Now that Nancy Pelosi has endorsed Barack Obama, I do wonder what HE will say about Madam Speaker's support of such effect, if yes, somewhat serious form of interrogation techniques...

"pound for pound the TOUGHEST man in the NFL!"
If I was going to war... Jason Whitten is the first person I'd bring with me. Today, after getting the ball knocked out of his arms on the 1 yard line in what could have been the drive to give his team the first lead of the day... Jason Whitten - bleeding left arm and all, got his crud together, got his butt back on the field, and scored the winning touchdown for the Dallas Cowboys!

To win it all in the NFL you must be GOOD every time out on the field. On some occassions you must attain greatness, on others you must avoid complacency, and on rare occassions you need a little bit of good fortune to smile upon you. The real hero of a championship drive is not the big name all-star. It is the every single down kind of player. The one who loses his helmet and like a wild man - wants to score so badly that he keeps on fighting for the goal - when lesser men would take a knee.
Depending on New England's outcome against the Steeler's this afternoon it is easy to see that there is a major re-match brewing for the Patriots and Cowboys. And THAT game... will be determined by the number of Jason Whitten's who show up, make the tackle, catch the pass, block their opponent into the grass, and fight for one more yard...
Given that... I like our chances!

2pm: Christian, Father, Evangelist, Actor, and Activist, and soon to be weekly star of the small screen - Stephen Baldwin stops by. Are 20 million Americans ready for the Hardcore Faith? Is NBC? Is Trump? In-Studio LIVE - Stephen Baldwin with us...800.345.WMCA.
2:20pm: Oprah has waved her magic wand and Mitch Albom's newest tear-jerker is set for Sunday Night on ABC. He steps in to give us a preview, but asks the important question. What would you do? How would you live? If you had only one more day to give to that one person you wanted to, but never did... you would do things differently! 800.345.WMCA.
3pm: Society is pushing parents to be ignorant to the behavioral programming of their own children, and we MUST NOT allow that to happen. The world is happy for you to be too busy to know what your child is seeing, doing, learning, feeling, and morphing into. 4 out of 5 Moms on 'The View' are happy about this. The only mother on the show to lay down clarity for her son is ganged up on in response. Yet empowering our children to know who they are and who they are supposed to be, and to become - is paramount to their development. Society wants ignorant parents. Society, Schools, Pop Culture, even legislators want you to be lulled to sleep. Feed your children but do not train them. 800.345.WMCA.

 "Overtime... what overtime?"
"Anyone but Rudy!"
New York Daily News is now reporting that Judith Nathan did in fact receive security services earlier than the Mayor had previously reported.
"It went on for months before the affair was public," said Lee Degenstein, 52, a retired Smith Barney vice president who formerly lived at 200 E. 94th St., Nathan's old building.
"It was going on longer than anybody thought," added Degenstein, who, along with others in the neighborhood, said they often saw Nathan hopping into unmarked NYPD cars in early 2000, before the affair was revealed that May.
When pressed by The News Thursday, aides to the Republican presidential hopeful conceded that Nathan got police protection "sporadically" before December 2000 - the previously acknowledged beginning of her taxpayer-funded detail.
Then-Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik said in January 2001 the NYPD assigned Nathan round-the-clock protection the month before because of an unspecified threat against her on a streetcorner near her home. He insisted at a news conference she had no guards until then.
Thursday, Giuliani aides changed their story. They said Nathan had received previously undisclosed "threats" earlier in 2000, and that protection was provided at those times.
Lying about sex, lying about public trust, lying about tax-dollars, lying to your wife...
Pardon me - but how does any of this make Rudy any different than Clinton?
ALL of the GOP candidates will drop a bomb on Iran if we have to. (Well except PaulPot who might well then be tending his garden or some such...) But GOOD GRIEF... is that what we want?
There's a hair's worth of daylight between Romney and Huck... Heck PUT 'em BOTH on the ticket - I don't care. JUST FOR HEAVEN's SAKE don't curse us with this kind of mess all over again...
I do NOT want to have to defend this nominee to my listeners/readers and I do NOT want to be told I'm "not to be trusted" if he's the choice I'm left with...
