"I didn't spew?"You know how people always say the imagination fills in the gaps where suggestiveness leaves off? Believing this is true - one would have to assume this is one of the most pornographic sites on the internet... and it's designed for kids... all pastel and fun to show them how to "take care down there..." I'm not often shocked anymore by what is out there today, but this site has to be one of the most patently offensive internet creations ever made. And YOU paid for it... YOUR taxes... against YOUR wishes... (or at the very least mine...)

"I am not a crook." As if the GOP needed any help in the rocking scandal department in the last election cycle... The sad thing is - it is stories like this that cause decent men to keep from running for office, and decent men who are already there get stung with the same broad assumptions. Surely - especially if Tom Coburn isn't even allowed to deliver babies pro-bono, then surely Ted Stevens knew from his 40 years in office that getting an America's Extreme Home Makeover on his home for nada - qualified as fishy... Many readers think I'm inconsistent in my criticism of wrong doing on the "conservative" side of the aisle... Well to you who think that way hear me when I say, "throw the book at him!"

Well...
To serious "The OFFICE" fans anyway...
 Pam's talking...
Evidently the new season opener is going to be "awesome," half the cast is up for honors, and Jenna Fischer is a kleptomaniac...

Listen carefully...
1. Insist extension of the federal tax cuts, expose Obama's plan and the damage that undoing the cuts would have on families making between $40-$100,000 a year... 2. Strongly back the Arizona, Florida, and California marriage amendments - not on religious grounds, but on democratic grounds, "the people shall be self-determined." (Also putting all three states closer to the individual win column. But he needs media on it and the commercial has to point out Obama was for man/woman marriage before he was against it... 3. 50,000 troops at the southern border... (NEW JOBS) 4. A window of time, and a limited number of "forgivenesses" to the first 200,000 illegals to apply for worker ID cards. (All applicants beyond that subject to current immigration law - including deportation. Thus it puts the honus on the illegal to come forward and to COMPETE for a spot to stay.) 5. Expose Obama's flip-floppery on the National Security issue...
These issues should be the core of the McCain campaign and if he would only rally the "'roots" on them - he would win... perhaps big.
I'm not personally all that much in favor of number 4. But I think some of the wrong can be overcome by limiting it to roughly the set number of people that legally migrate to the nation per year, AND by making it a free market - competition, self-responsibility issue, AND a law enforcement assistance issue all three in one.

Lesbian blogger SERIOUSLY weighed in yesterday on a recent television show that made her so angry that she felt like doing physical violence to her television set, and had her so thoroughly disjointed that her sex-partner had to come in and "comfort" her on several occasions. Then she levels this accusation against a colleague I work with daily:
Regrettably, the episode also features a defamatory statement by Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council, an anti-gay activist organization, who claims: “Homosexuality is associated with higher rates of sexual promiscuity, sexually transmitted diseases, mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, and child sexual abuse, and those are all reasons for us to be concerned about placing children into that kind of setting.”
The only problem is - it could only be seen as defamatory if none of it was true. But every word of it is. The case studies exist. And since for instance "promiscuity" is all sex outside of legal marriage. Then nearly the entirety of the homosexual community is by definition promiscuous. In terms of STD's 54% of AIDS cases come from 2% of the population that engage in homosexual behavior. Mental illness - check the suicide rates amongst homosexuals vs. any other demographic data you like. And in terms of sexual abuse - when more than 98% of male homosexuals report having had homosexuality "introduced" to them by an "older male" and more than 70% of females report the same... I think it's pretty clear - by percentage of population pedophilia is at a much higher percentage amongst those who practice homosexual behavior than those who don't.

My brother works at the local news station in my hometown. Thusly he reads all the stories that come across the wire. Here is one about Second Life's version of Hugh Hefner. He has a real wife and a Second Life wife. He makes money from making body parts and sex moves for Second Life avatars. Wonder what he tells his kids about what he does for a living?

Oscar loves dead people... My brother in law - who just this week as a Naval Aviator made "F-18" (very big deal), the Lovely Bride, and I all disagree on the "oscar-worthiness" of the Ledger portrayal of the classic villain "the Joker" in the new Batman movie.
Simple poll here... answer in the comments: 1. Did you see it? 2. Oscar worthy - yes or no...
My position (which was contrary to the Lovely Bride's and Brother-in-law's) was that while its hands down the finest performance, and most realistic of an actual "joker" type of real life villain portrayed in the history of the Batman franchise - I still hesitate to say it's Oscar bound, because I just don't know that the role itself rises to the task. The Lovely Bride, and Bro - say - he deserves it.
Oscar has a thing for dead people, they especially love characters who die. The irony in this case of course is that it is the actor who is no longer with us, while the character is slated to live on...
By the way parents - even though there is no sex, and little if any foul language in this film - it SHOULD be rated "R" for the intensity of the evil that the story is composed around.
But give me your thoughts - would like to know what you thought...

The 3rd and 4th Circuit Courts made a mockery of common sense and seem to abdicating their basic duties to protect our children. With precedent-setting decisions that could take much work and time to overturn, Tony Perkins sounds off on the judicial tyranny and social recklessness the court seems bent on creating. Then Tony welcomes FRC's own Vice President for Policy Peter Sprigg to give us a first hand report on his experience witnessing the first Congressional hearing on the issue of homosexual conduct within the military to be held in the last 15 years. ( BONUS: Plus did you know that George Washington actually originated the idea of "drumming" someone out of the military? ) Finally Tony also hosts Congressman Dave Weldon (R-Fla) on the important stand HHS is taking to protect the conscience of medical professionals. Shockingly - conscience is something that now must be protected by policy. PLUS in the FRCNews - David Nammo, Chuck Donovan, and Charmaine Yoest lend analysis to stories being tracked by Kevin McCullough, overlooking Capitol Hill.

Their goal: flaunt them when criticizing Republicans and keep them in the closet like cast-off shoes when the Democrat elite come to town. That's what is going to happen at the Democratic National Convention in less than a month where the Democrats latest plan to help the poor will be to hide them. A non-profit organization is helping "get 500 movie tickets as well as passes to the Denver Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature and Science and other cultural facilities for the people it helps." Free transportation will be provided if events are too far away. But don't worry--although Democrats are getting the homeless as far away from their events as possible, they won't let the homeless forget their civic duty. " A two-day voter registration drive is also planned at shelters and health clinics to ensure that metro area homeless people have access to the polls in November." I first worked with homeless people when I was twelve years old. My whole family would serve meals or lead a chapel at the local homeless shelter. I performed in a professional theatrical production that told the 50 year history of the Roanoke Rescue Mission, raising both money and awareness. My fifteen year old sister recently decided to use her photography skills to take pictures of local homeless children. She gave the pictures to the parents, some of whom had never had a picture of their child. There are many things people can do to help the homeless. Handing out free movies tickets isn't one of them.

...what are the odds? Apparently, media bias extends beyond lap dogs charading as journalists and adoring dribble being published as news coverage. Beyond portraying liberal world-views as accurate news coverage, the mainstream media thinks it is important to financially supports liberals as well. Some would call this "putting your money where your mouth is." "An analysis of federal records shows that the amount of money journalists contributed so far this election cycle favors Democrats by a 15:1 ratio over Republicans." Journalists also give more money to Obama than McCain at a 20:1 ratio. I guess "The New York Times' refusal to publish John McCain's rebuttal to Barack Obama's Iraq op-ed" just wasn't enough to display their support.

I'm STILL 'da man! If Rick Warren thought he caught grief three years ago when he started inviting Barack Obama to come preach his Gospel of Condoms at the Saddleback annual AIDS conference - just wait till this gets out. The Saddleback AIDS/HIV conference is now officially being co-sponsored by "Faith in Public Life" which is little more than a "religious" shill organization for all things leftist. But FiPL's president, who will appear at the conference, is a militant lesbian who has engaged in homosexual advocacy for years. When Rick Warren was questioned about the group's involvement he claimed their co-sponsorship meant little. Warren claims Saddleback is still "in control" of the agenda and messaging of the conference. Does anyone believe that? Co-sponsors become co-sponsors by putting up part of the costs of the event and in return - they seek some degree of influence, profit, or opportunity to distribute materials in return. It's bad enough Warren never rebuffed Obama's doctrine of condom use and reckless sexual habits, as a supposed teacher of scripture he is OBLIGATED to do so. But to now actually engage in co-sponsorship with groups that oppose the biblical teaching he professes to remain faithful to is beyond the pale. And the evangelical world should speak quickly and firmly in the process...

LA Times bloggers directed NOT to report on it... Independent news sources confirm... The truly most hysterical understanding of the events when reporters and photographers attempted to get Edwards to comment on why he was exiting his amore's love nest came from the most ferocious queen in LA. A thought comes to mind... "The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord..." (Which then likely means if you are following Him you won't find yourself hiding out in a hotel bathroom trying with all your might to keep photographers out...) As anyone who has read this blog for any length of time I do hold particular distaste for the behavior of adultery. It's slimy, it puts your family, reputation, and future at risk - NEEDLESSLY. What makes Edwards' case so worthy of Jesse Jackson's special 'Obama treatment' is the idea that his wife has been battling cancer. And to add insult even more so to injury is that your humble correspondent thought it so highly inappropriate for the "slip and fall" specialist to force his presidential run upon his cancer stricken wife... when everyone that's every had a relative die of cancer knows - reduced stress, much moral support, and positive enthusiasm are some of the most important keys to remission... Is John Edwards the Kind of Man Every Man SHOULD Be?
