DeFeo and Carpenter - on hold "LIVE" from Minneapolis
Per Senator John McCain moments ago
McCain also called on Republicans to set aside the party hats and to don their American hats. He called on them to give, volunteer, and pray in this time of natural disaster...
The MuscleHead Revolution's own Faith Ammen is on site as well...

How many will die this time at his hands?
Has anyone else been haunted by the fact that Mayor Ray Nagin is still in power as Mayor of New Orleans?
With Gustav chasing him and his cronies down, his crooked corrupt cohorts that were caught hoarding the emergency supplies in the Katrina aftermath still in tow you have to wonder how he will perform.
Of course he blamed Katrina all on Bush. And this after the Bush administration had repeatedly attempted to send help up to three days prior to Katrina's arrival.
Louisiana voters took care of their incompetent former Governor - electing Bobby Jindal - who has notably worked COOPERATIVELY with the feds this time around - but that doesn't change the scenario in New Orleans. There - the insane voters re-elected Nagin (likely through strong-arm tactics and outright cheating) even though he was personally responsible for the deaths of 1300 people in Katrina's wake.
The New Orleans Evacuation Emergency Plan which was put into place long before Nagin came to power states that the mayor and his staff shall use every public vehicle available to rescue and evacuate citizens who can not get out otherwise.
Mayor Nagin had 2000 school buses that remained locked prior to Katrina's arrival and once the levies began to break they were rendered useless.
Slightly more than 1300 people died, 2000 buses unused and ruined by the floods.
Ray Nagin of course built his national standing through his racist, ugly, and untoward remarks about the National Guard who came in and finally began to help those the mayor couldn't, and he was launched into the inner circles of the "civil rights" communities for launching baseless, and patently false accusations against the President. Accusations that were later proven to be untrue when then Governor Blanco's e-mail archives were made public.
Our hearts and prayers are with the people of New Orleans, we pray that the people there are able to get out ahead of time. We even pray that the incompetent, criminal, and racist mayor will attempt to do what is right this time.
After all New Orleans doesn't deserve to lose another 1300 residents only because of one man's negligent, reckless, or criminal ignorance of the laws he is charged to enforce.

Here's just SOME
of what we're hitting on Saturday night - so be by the radio (9pm EST):
1. Settle the Age Old Debate:
It sure seems that each side in the partisan divide wants to say or do whatever they need to - to get elected. Some say, the only reason McCain put a woman on the ticket was to appear as innovative as Obama. Do you believe its true? Will a candidate just say whatever you want to hear in order to get elected? Which one of these two candidates do you believe is willing to? Or is there no difference whatsoever? 800.345.9622 - call us toll free in hour one.
Resource: MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking
2. "Sex And the Campus"
College students are poor and don't have lots of walkin' around money. So the solution? 27% of men and 14% of women on the campus of the University of Michigan have traded sex for everything from help with their homework, guided tours of the amazon, a Dave Matthews concert, gas cards, and even dinner
. The students say its not that they need the money - so much as they just don't value sex. And the writer of the story thinks this is a trend that is only going to increase. Is it the way of the future, or the way to heartbreak ridge? 800.345.9622 what's YOUR opinion?Resource: The Kind of Man Every Man Should Be
3. Musical features: Rhianna, Archuleta, Sara Bareilles, Taylor Swift, Daughtry, LifeHouse, Skillet, and much, much, more!

Solidifies the base!
Today at 5:05pm EST I will join my former Salem Radio Colleague Paul Edwards in Detroit
to discuss this historic ticket and why it truly is the silver bullet the Dems should most fear - you can listen live right here
Here's Palin's wikipedia page
Fred Barnes: "Eye-popping Integrity"
My thoughts: She shoots, fishes, and demands integrity in every way! She believes unborn children are persons - and she has embodied that belief. She's a loving mother of five, and as tough an executive as can be found. She competed in sports, beauty, commerce, and politics and has succeeded in every way possible!
Some of the most pro-life, pro-family views of anyone that could have been picked. If John McCain had needed help in rallying the base, while appealing to women, while adding executive experience and youth to the ticket... he couldn't have done any better.
Conservatives will be thrilled, liberals will hate it, and it will be a very tough road for Joe Biden as debates go because he will likely overplay his hand and look uncivil, untoward, and unAmerican.
In my new book, The Kind of Man Every Man Should Be
, I describe the scenario by which MODERN feminism has destroyed men in this nation. And that's important to understand. Classic feminists - like me - from the 1920's, fought for EQUALITY
. That means equal pay for work, the right to vote, to own property, to do business etc.. Modern feminists from the 1960's replaced EQUALITY with SAMENESS
and in doing so brought about a faux feminism that laid the foundation for the debates on abortion, homosexuality, and deconstruction of the American man
The new VP Nominee Sarah Palin is a classic feminist. She shoots guns and baskets, she has walked a runway, she served on the PTA, she has run a city and state, and now she is slated to become the next Vice President. She's a mother of five, one of whom is in Iraq the other of whom doctors pressured her to abort because of its disability. Sarah Palin is the kind of woman that the Kind of Man Every Man Should Be
- would love to marry.
She doesn't seek to neuter him because he is strong - as is evidenced by her World Champion husband, and Presidential nominee - who is also a hero indeed!
UPDATE: Money is flowing... 12 individuals have already told me they will be sending checks to McCain and encouraging their friends to do the same!

Hillary's voters now in play!
Hillary's voters have become the swing vote. And Wolfson believes that McCain may have just given the "Maverick" the boost he needs to swing the election...

Obama Mob with a Mission...
Friday, August 29, 2008
When will he arrive...
We kick off the group blogging momentarily...
FAITH AMMEN: What change has he seen and lived? How much can you experience in 163 days in his office as Senate?
LOVELY: yes well--there are many dems who will be picking up a republican ballot
FAITH AMMEN: I'm so sick of hearing how sad and depressed American people are..."taking less hours so there friends don't lose their jobs?" Ok, let's have a little positive energy...
LOVELY: Yes the American spirit--that came from a belief in God and a drive to work hard and know that if you did the potential was limitless...
FAITH AMMEN: I love that Obama has no personal character or experience to make people love him...he has to piggyback on FDR, JFK, and Martin Luther King...
10:50pmKMC: THE GOSPEL OF CONDOMS
LOVELY: Reducing the number of unwanted pregnancies????
KMC: THE GOSPEL OF GUN CONTROL
LOVELY: What about babies that are born and left to die??
KMC: THE GOSPEL OF TAH GAYYYYYYYYSSSSS
LOVELY: Gays and Lesbians can already visit their loved ones in hospitals!!!!
KMC: He just took two sides of 4 issues?
THATS EIGHT POSITIONS!!!LOVELY: IT is exactly that
, higher taxes and a departure from traditional values
he just summed up his platform, while saying it wasn't just that... And people eat it up
LOVELY: If Obama loves America, why has he associated himself with someone who bombed the Capitol building in DC, and gone to a church with a pastor who says: "God Damn America"??????
KMC: That is a flat out lie about McCain...
LOVELY: What does Iraq having a surplus have to do with anything???
KMC: He has always said that he would support the generals on the ground and the Iraqi people...
LOVELY: What alliances are strained??
KMC: The party of Kennedy? HA HA HA... the Kennedy's have undermined every war we've fought since WWI.
FAITH AMMEN: Programs can't replace parents? Then why are you pushing programs all the time?
LOVELY: If he is willing to debate, then why doesn't he
? He has refused debates?
10:40pmLOVELY: Like his daughters are going to have a problem being equally paid in the future
KMC: MORE WOMEN are presently employed in America than men... MORE WOMEN are going to college than men in America today... And MORE WOMEN are graduating high school than boys today... WOMEN ARE DOING FINE! And no one wants to pay them less than men...
KMC: The "I will do this promises are so easy to make when you run for office..."
And how does he insure a college education?
Who pays for it?
LOVELY: taxes baby
taxes are going to pay for education and healthcare
FAITH AMMEN: How does "I'll give you a government that will give you everything" coincide with sacrifice, hard work, and personal initiative?
LOVELY: and companies will have to pay these
so they will employ less people
KMC: So he will cram standards down insurance companies throats - thus putting them out of business and ushering in Government controlled health care...
LOVELY: And end dependence on foreign oil? The Dem morons wouldn't drill for the last 8 years? We still have to drill in the meantime before alternative energies are viable...
That is depleting the worlds food supply...
10:34pmKMC: But if you tax the upper class - that tax break for the middle class will disappear in the higher price of goods and services...
LOVELY: No he's going to raise taxes on the top 5 % that gives everyone else jobs...
10:31pmKMC: Its not a company's JOB to create JOBS
... It is a company's job to provide a product, good, or service... The number of jobs that are created are dependent upon how well the company runs itself...
LOVELY: The market can't promote jobs and growth if all those companies are having the hell taxed out of them
KMC: Nice to see him compliment granny and not throw her under the bus like he did during the primary...
10:29pmFAITH AMMEN: Who are the powerful people in the world? Who are the people we look up to? People who work hard and have individual responsibility. When was the last time you said, "My hero is this guy who made his living by surviving on welfare and government funded healthcare?"
Is anyone else depressed? It sounds like America is in the Great Depression! Does anyone forget that we are the richest nation in the world? Why would you want to paint an America where everyone is jobless and single and dying of cancer!
10:28pmWell whose responsibility is it supposed to be if we are looking for work, without healthcare, or in need of something?
Whose responsibility is it to put food on my table?
Whose responsibility is it to keep myself healthy?
Whose responsibility is it to earn the money to pay the bills?
Just WHOSE RESPONSIBILITY IS IT Sen. Dummy?
KMC: Nation of WHINERS was a quote by Phil Gramm - not John McCain... he's aiming at the wrong guy.LOVELY: And Obama has also voted with McCain and Bush 90% of the time
KMC: The red meat is not going to convince the independents - and that's who is supposed to be reaching for...
LOVELY: Dick Morris was saying earlier that the way that stat is calculated is by everything the Senate votes on... Like to congratulate high schools that win state championships, et etc... And those votes are all always unanimous, so Obama can lump himself right in with McCain and Bush. B
because big corporations give all the little people jobs.
10:22pmFAITH AMMEN: Anyone want to get the tissues? We are going to get plenty of sob stories. Why would you reframe the American government that people fought and died for be reduced to being about healthcare and preschool?
KMC: KATRINA???? The stupid Democrat Mayor and Governor were the ones who let New Orleans drown... The Mayor had 2000 buses, and by law was supposed to use them to evacuate people... He kept them locked while 1000 people drowned...
LOVELY: how about the New Orlaens Mayor who sat on his hands while his people drowned!!!
KMC: No - not true, not more are working for less...
More are working for more - for three years in a row... check the census bureau dummy...LOVELY: And for the 2nd quarter this year, the economy has grown...
FAITH AMMEN: I had no idea Bush was such a powerful man? He controlled and dominated and superceded the Supreme Court and legislative branch for 8 years?
KMC: "With gratitude... I accept..."
KMC: If Barack Obama believed and voted for the things he speaks about - everyone would vote for him. The problem is - the Barack Obama who casts votes in the United States Senate is not the Barack Obama in the biography video...
KMC: Dick Durbin is the warm-up goat for the night. And he is pathetic... Bush's broken promises? No Child Left Behind - promised, delivered. No attacks on Americans after 911 - promise, delivered. New prescription plan - promise, delivered.

Lips moving, lies coming!
According to brand new census data, some actual truthful reporting from the New York Times
, we know for certain that former President Clinton was not being truthful in his speech last night - particularly on the economic factors. The former president spoke of a worsening economy, and he made the argument that people were earning less.
But it was just flatulence of the mouth as the Census Bureau released its newest findings yesterday.
For the third year in a row the median income for families has INCREASED! Another 1.3%...
The same data also found that Joe Biden was not being honest in his speech last night when he touched on health care. The number of people without coverage DROPPED in the latest numbers by more than a million. And the uninsured percentage rate dropped from 15.9%-15.3%. MEANING: 84.7% of Americans are satisfactorily insured.
I'm part of the 15.3% presently, but I do NOT, repeat, I DO NOT WANT the government to give it to me. It's my job to get it, and we will - but I don't want to tax YOU to be able to get it.

After receiving his party's nomination by a special act of affirmative action
earlier in the day, Barack Obama popped on to stage to squeals of the long suffering conventioners that were nearly ready to poke their eyes out from the boredom of Joe Biden's acceptance speech!
If Biden is supposed to bolster the ticket - expect yet another dip in the overnight tracking polls tomorrow. And not only was Biden boring he took on the role of attack dog pathetically...
Biden ran down a list of Obama's "legislative record" which afterwards - even left-leaning Nina Easton admitted, "this makes Obama's thin record" look even worse."
Then Biden went beyond the pale in repeated questioning of John McCain's judgment. I have questioned McCain's methods, and his temper, but I've never questioned his desire to see what was best for America be at the fore of his rationale for the "why" he did what he did.
I think it is a tremendously overplayed mistake for Biden to "go there." And that fundamentally it shows a desperation of a ticket that by all mathematical equations should be light-years ahead in this race, but is actually struggling to stay even.
Disagreement with McCain's ideas should be how they go about selling themselves. Attacking McCain's judgment and thereby his character is just a losing proposition. Especially since you can guarantee there will be massive tribute to his painful sacrifice to his nation in the GOP meetings coming up next week.
Clinton was the toughest nugget of the night, unfortunately for Obama he did not appear in the 10pm hour which was carried by the networks.
Instead we got a national helping of the Senator so boring I wanted to stab my hand with a fork just to prove to myself that I was still awake...

The "MuscleHead" Coverage Team
At about 9pm or so Faith and I will kick in with running "live blog" commentary here on the MuscleHead pages.
11:20pmLOVELY: Well former President Bill Clinton was definitely the highlight tonight--he rallied the crowd and had them lapping up every word he said. He was charismatic as usual, although much of what he said was not true. He jumped from one point to the next so fast, however, that the shots he was taking were hard to keep up with. He made his case for Obama, albeit very thin.
Biden, however, was not so engaging. His speech was incredibly boring. Towards the end, he started to make his case for Obama, distinguishing his choices and actions from those of John McCain. It was unremarkable, and very interesting considering that he didn't think Obama was qualified to be president not so long ago.
Ultimately, there has still not been anyone who has come out and really clued the public in to who Obama is exactly, and how he is going to implement all these changes he keeps championing. All the while, they are trying to take shots at McCain, but they can't make any particularly strong arguments for why Obama would be such a stellar choice in comparison.
11:10pmFAITH AMMEN: We have had three straight nights of calf slobber. We have learned nothing about Obama. We have had sob stories, childhood memories, and cutesy phrases. There has been excessive Bush Bashing. For some reason they can't seem to challenge or critique McCain's record...all they can do is equate him to Bush. I'm still waiting for the speech when someone tells me what Obama has done and plans to do besides "change" and saving the world from the big bad Republicans.
THE MESSIAH APPEARS... "we ah fu-mb-lieee"
10:51pmFAITH AMMEN: Is this guy the same one who said of Obama: "I think he can be ready but right now, I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training."
LOVELY: Should we trust Joe Biden? Who just said Obama wasn't ready to be president and he would serve with McCain anyday?
10:48pmLOVELY: the change we must change is the change we need is the change we will bring...
change change change
FAITH AMMEN: "alternative energy..5 million new jobs...tax cuts for 95% of the population..." He sounds like he forgot he was a democrat AND smoked pot
LOVELY: how will Obama bring down health care costs?
How will he put more cops on the street?
FAITH AMMEN: equal pay for women? are we still in the dark ages?
KMC: NOBODY IS TRYING TO DENY EQUAL PAY FOR WOMEN
LOVELY: Don't women have equal pay?
KMC: Why the hell do they keep saying that????????????
FAITH AMMEN: does he not realize women start small businesses at twice the rate of men?
LOVELY: Is that the most pressing issue of our day?--Equal pay for women?
FAITH AMMEN: "climate change"...oh, that issue that Pelosi won't let us vote on?
LOVELY: Drill here drill now
10:43pmLOVELY: talk about playing to our fears in a speech
KMC: Could this speech be MORE boring?
what the heck is he supposed to be doing - lulling us to sleep?
FAITH AMMEN: This is like a happy sappy autobiography. Can we move past Saturday mornings at home?
LOVELY: Barack Obama gets it....but before he wasn't qualified, I think I'm going to go back to my Sudoku puzzle...
FAITH AMMEN: my brother just brought me fried oreos!! yummy!
LOVELY: never had one... I want to try one....
KMC: I am honest to God - going to plunge a fork through my hand...
KMC: Falling sleep, the long-windedness already setting in...
FAITH AMMEN: I wonder how many trees were slain to make those Biden signs?
The Billy Jeff speech:
9:27pmKMC: He's in at 23 minutes just under the 25 that I predicted - thank you very much
Ok the live cover band - SUCKS
LOVELY: you were pretty close Kevin
Matlock: I don't even know how to process all of that
LOVELY: I'm impressed, I know he spoke so fast
KMC: Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies, Lies
LOVELY: my head is spinning
Matlock: Did you notice how much he compared Obama to himself? It was almost an ego trip for him
9:22pmKMC: Clinton lies so fast and furiously I can't keep up with all the inaccuracies.LOVELY: I know
Matlock: He makes my head spin
LOVELY: he is so fast tonight, Slick willy, I'm sure it's second nature to him
9:20pmLOVELY: "assault on Science"???
what does that mean? "Katrina and cronyism???
KMC: that's his anti-anti-Global Warming slam
LOVELY: like the LA Governor and New Orleans mayor who wouldn't accept Federal aid when it was offered????
KMC: Katrina - was roughly 80% the fault of the Democratic Mayor and Democratic Governor - who refused Federal help... and also allowed 2000 buses to sit while 1000 people died...
Matlock: Does he know that we pay the active military "hazardous duty" pay while they are deployed? Is cronyism a word?
LOVELY: No he doesn't know
because he cut the military when he was in office
and allowed World Trade to be bombed the first time...
KMC: Another word Clinton should shy away from - "Example" - as in "look Daddy - oral sex isn't sex"LOVELY: it depends on what the meaning of "is" is...
Matlock: And with Chelsea in the audience...
9:15pmLOVELY: And Bush has been the president to give the MOST aid to Africa
KMC: Ok the "stand up to them" line came off so flat - three day old sprite left without the top on has more fizz than the meaning he put into it...
9:13pmMatlock: "Obama's proven understanding"? How many days was he actually in office? 163 I think was the number!
KMC: OK OK OK OK
One thing Clinton should not be mentioning is an OATH
LOVELY: I was just going to say that
Matlock: How can he defend the Constitution if he refuses to defend life?
9:10pmKMC: GLOBAL WARMING???? REALLY????
MEMO to Bill: The earth has been cooling for six yearsMatlock: "the job of the next president is to restore American leadership around the world"? What does he think Bush has been doing in the Middle East?
KMC: No that's what HIS policies did
LOVELY: Barack Obama has shown a "clear grasp of foreign policy"?????
Are you kidding??
Matlock: He wants to rebuild the military! What?! Does he know he is supposed to be talking about Obama?
KMC: Not to mention the fact that at the end of the Clinton term the military was in the worst capacity of modern history...
9:08pmLOVELY: He loves Joe Biden....
but does he love Barack Obama???
LOVELY: The crowd is already eating out of his hand....
Matlock: and America will too...
No, because his candidate lost. That's the first thing he addresses for any significant period of time
9:06pmMatlock: "I give you one of the greatest presidents of the United States..." are you kidding? He was impeached!
LOVELY: that doesnt count for anything
KMC: one of only two to be actually
LOVELY: Hillary is singing with the music
KMC: digging the Hills and Chels lipsynch
Matlock: I love the choice of music. Very appropriate.
KMC: Ok - he was dictated to only have 10 minutes
Im taking wagers on how long he goes
KMC: I've got 25
LOVELY: I don't think he's ever spoken for only 10 minutes
KMC: and he walked on at 9:02
blah blah blah
LOVELY: he will say thank you for 10 minutes
KMC: My buddy Amanda Carpenter is on O'Reilly as we speak and has just laid out the best reasons possible why the Ayers' ad is gonna hurt Obama. Basically she said it exposed the tactics to which Obama will go to - to SHUT DOWN - free speech - ESPECIALLY when its... honest!
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
Would like to honestly know... who the heck does Melissa Etheridge think GOD is? While she was "leading" the DNC in singing "God Bless America?"
I'm pretty sure she runs the other direction when God is usually entered into the debate - much less public policy... so why that song?
Could it be... placation?
Faux "faith" emphasis?
Hmmm, it does make you wonder...
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
He couldn't have done it without her...
Did Hillary just attempt to secure her spot on the United States Supreme Court? Perhaps so. In one of the most unsurprising moments in the convention - given that the plan had been leaked to the media since SUNDAY that she would do it - Hillary Clinton called for the suspension of the count, and the affirmation of Barack Obama to be the nominee by voice vote.
She had more votes cast for her.
She had more supporters, and depending on how Florida and Michigan would've gone in the actual count, she could have had more votes on the floor at the convention.
Knowing that Hillary doesn't do anything without triangulating something out of the deal for herself, one has to wonder - WHAT did she get?
And WHEN does she get it?
History in the making indeed, but isn't it sad - that it wasn't done the way every other Democratic nominee has been nominated in this brief century - or the previous?
Even when I was the first pundit to predict that Obama would be the nominee
- I never believed it would come down to hi-jinx, smoke-filled rooms, and the promise of Hillary looming large in the Supreme Court's future...
It's actually a pretty slimy way for a man who is a descendant of several races to be back-doored into the nomination...
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
This is supposed to be Obama's convention. And yet all they (the networks who already are giving him the most favorable press any candidate has ever received) can talk about is how the Hillary mess has not been resolved. In addition Obama's team decides to RESPOND to a commercial and actually petition it to go away. I can't say that I blame them considering it is just this devastating:
ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING!UPDATE: What is the date of the New York Times quote given to Ayers when he said they wished they could've BOMBED more?
Wednesday, August 27, 2008
18 million votes peeps!
10 generic mentions of Obama, and all of them attached to her own accomplishments. She toted him around like Paris Hilton does her purse puppy.
She also rubbed his nose in his poo and put him back in his cage.
Hillary showed to the world tonight quite likely why she might have HAD more actual votes in the Democratic primary than Obama did. But aside from a couple of glancing blows (not head on collisions) on the "possible policies" of John McCain she did nothing to help her ticket at all.
Look its easy to come out and repeat the written script from the teleprompter that says "I support Barack Obama."
But in very Clintonian style and ease, Hillary just set herself up for the 2012 run when she very covertly helps the Obamas NOT make history in 2008.
End of story...
Tuesday, August 26, 2008
Hillary gave me no reason to vote for Obama. She only promoted her own agenda and bashed Bush and McCain. It was an egotistical, self-centered speech. I don't know why everyone keeps acting surprised that she gave a speech in support of Obama. What else could she have given? As the commentators are saying now, Bill's speech was censored due to content and he was given specific talking points. I believe Hillary was the same: she met her quota of "Vote for Obama" and that was it. Also, she's not going to make a mockery of herself by being tepid in the middle of a DNC. Honestly, the speech was about her and about women's rights, not about Obama, his record, his experience, his competency, or his vision. The speech did nothing for Obama except repeat his name a few times. Overall I was disappointed and am still waiting for someone to tell me what Obama has done and what he is really going to do.
She also painted no picture of the greatness of America...she gave us no dream to follow. She bogged us down with sob stories, complained about Bush, and ranted about how healthcare is the elixir.
I agree with the commentators that Clinton may have been a stronger VP candidate, especially in light of the fact that Biden himself said he would rather run with McCain than Obama.
