Guys... Marry Up! A new study brings some real confirmation to blokes like me. I KNOW beyond all doubts reasonable and otherwise that The Lovely Bride is light years ahead of me in the looks department. I like it that way... And evidently - so do most couples. Think about it guys. Girls don't wanna marry another girl. If you end up "prettier" than them - it causes the whole natural cycle of pursuit to go wanting. God designed women with beauty, mystery, and appeal. He did so in order that we men WOULD pursue them, court them, marry them, and produce children through that attraction. I don't take this to mean that we shouldn't try to do the best we can with what we have gents. But come on - do you really WANT to be the best looking one in the relationship? She doesn't want you to either!

???????????????????? Douglas Kmiec, of Pepperdine Law School and formerly of the Catholic University of America, has endorsed Barack Obama or President? Kmiec served as legal counsel to Presidents Reagan and H.W. Bush. Kmiec is noted for not just being a legal, and fiscal conservative - but also an outspoken social conservative: Writing in Slate magazine, Kmiec, who served as constitutional legal counsel to former Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, called Obama "a person of integrity, intelligence and genuine good will." "I take him at his word that he wants to move the nation beyond its religious and racial divides and to return United States to that company of nations committed to human rights," said Kmiec, a professor of constitutional law at California's Pepperdine University. Kmiec, a former dean of the law school at The Catholic University of America, said he was not sure if Obama's "life experience is sufficient for the challenges of the presidency," but he said he doubts that can be known about any of the current presidential hopefuls. Kmiec noted that as a Republican and as a Catholic, he supports preserving traditional marriage and believes that "life begins at conception" -- and he acknowledged that Obama may differ with him on those issues. However, he said he is convinced that Obama "is not closed to understanding opposing points of view, and … will respect and accommodate them."
Are you freakin' kidding me? Seriously?

"God Bless America!" On the broadcast today a SPECIAL Easter Weekend idea hit some of my listeners and I at the same time. This weekend - thousands of born again, Evangelical and Catholic, Black and White - CHRISTIANS will be observing the celebration of Jesus Christ's miracle of Resurrection over sin and death. In this nation - we have greater religious liberty and freedom than any other nation on earth. So our goal for the "GOD BLESS AMERICA" campaign - THIS WEEKEND - is to remind Dr. Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ about God's blessings that He HAS poured out on us. We are asking YOU to take part in this with thousands of like-minded Christians from across the nation... Dial Trinity at 773.962.5650 - all weekend long - and tell them that you're praying "for God to bless America." Repeat it three times, thank them for their time and then let them go. Three times Dr. Wright called down God's damnation on America in the soundbyte that has been played over and over. Imagine thousands of messages of blessing - coming from mostly WHITE people to let Dr. Wright know that we are asking God to bless us, and Trinity UCC by extension. The weight of this ounce of goodness would be heavier than ten tons of guilt. My listeners took to the idea immediately. But we need radio shows, blogs, columnists and everyday people to pass it on to their friends. Call Trinity at 773.962.5650... Or fill up their e-mail inbox at: info@TUCC.org!

Did Jeremiah Wright ever preach a sermon that had anything to do with God, Jesus, or anything resembling Christian theology? The more tape they turn up the harder time I'm having trying to give Obama the benefit of the doubt that he "NEVER" heard anything like this come from the man who was his pastor for 20 years... Judge for yourself...

classyQuestions:
Would Obama say that Dr. Wright is just a typical afro-centric theologian (non-biblical) who hates rich white people? Does Dr. Wright even believe that God's grace extends to non-blacks? Can anyone besides blacks KNOW salvation?
Just asking...

Jonathan Martin thinks he's stumbled across some big conspiracy. (YAWN!!!) I know it may come as news to you but guess what; we conservative media types - LOVE the new emerging technologies. So a "prominent conservative talk radio producer" has just as much right to be involved with YouTube and crafting original videos that make a rather excellent point - as anyone else does. Anyway - check out Habeeb's work above. It rocks!
