Finally proud of Pennsylvania...

Maybe Obama's game plan on Monday worked... He kept saying at various stops how he was "sure" he wouldn't win, but would do better than expected. Was that his way of lulling Hillary supporters into a "I don't really need to go vote mentality?"

One of the things I think I will miss most about President Bush when he leaves office is his uncanny ability to be a real person. He has laughed with us, mourned with us, taken the collective anger of our nation and responded to those who would kill us, and yet he never stopped saying thanks to those who did the real work. And he has always shown such overwhelming appreciation for America's finest - who have heard their nation's call and are standing posts today to see to it that our children sleep peacefully tonight.

I was reminded of all of that, all over again when I saw this clip of President Bush on prime-time TV last night (Deal or No Deal):

Pope Benedict XVI will discuss the Iraq war and immigration in talks with US President Bush
Coming to America!

If they choose to return, I'm sure that many of the zany commentators from yesterday's "what makes you think you know better than us" rant will have some thoughts on this, but it appears that the lobby that advocates special privileges for those who like to engage in homosexual behavior are telling the Pope where he can go now that he is on the pagan grounds of liberal USA.

And they want him to start by ignoring the text of scripture, the revelation of God Himself, and the teaching of all of Judaism's AND Christianity's history and now proclaim unilaterally that God is bisexual.

Has anyone ever noticed that while radical homosexual radical activists constantly accuse those of us on the side of traditional value systems of always making it  "about the sex" that way to often they usually end up making it "about the sex?"

The reason this blog and my column are under such attack from those that oppose traditional values and the faith system in particular that gave those values to us - is because it is the one bedrock that these same activists have never been able to shout down, do away with, and obliterate from their mind.

They claim to be angry at me for saying the things that scripture says (and now evidently the Pope as well) but who they are truly angry at is God. They constantly accuse ME of claiming to "speak for God" - which is laughable at every turn. God never needed ANYONE to speak "for" Him.

He has spoken for Himself in the revealed texts of scripture. Simply because angry liberals, gays, abortionists, anarchists, and libertarians have a beef with what God has said - doesn't mean we are at liberty to change the meaning of what He said.

So I'm sure more derision will be focused at me, committed believers, devout scripturally based Christians etc. We will be libeled "agents of intolerance" we will be called sacks of excrement and the list goes on.

But none of that changes a single aspect of who God is... that fact that He IS God, or the fact that we're not!

THE RUDE PUNDIT: The Year of Living Rudely

If raging angry gay libs just can't take it anymore they always resort to the most predictable political mode of response: test the limits of vulgarity and then wish that wicked imagination upon their enemies.

What amount of self-loathing must the RudePundit live under on a daily basis?

The oh-so-original "critique" of my syndicated column this week, took RP beyond the bounds of normalcy (WARNING MOST OF THESE LINKS ARE NOT SAFE FOR WORK) into yet some of the most perverse (and likely self-lusting) imaginative anger one seldom has the opportunity to observe.

And I'm paused to ask the question - why?

It seems that by me being critical of Senator Obama's aggressive support for the destruction and then redefinition of the institution of marriage that the RP and his lackeys feel the best way they can insult me is to identify me as what they themselves likely are - rabidly out of control sex freaks who shatter all limits of decency.

Do traditional ideas really cause such pain and threat to these individuals?

Isn't this all just a tad bit over-the-top?

Pope Benedict XVI gestures, at center, as Italian former Premier Romano Prodi looks on, at left, prior to boarding an Alitalia jet bound for Washington, in Rome's Fiumicino international airport, Tuesday April 15, 2008. From a presidential welcome, to two Masses at baseball stadiums, to a stop for prayer at ground zero in New York, the pontiff will get a heavy dose of the American experience in his first pilgrimage to the United States. Benedict departed for Washington on Tuesday, with President George W. Bush planning to make the unusual gesture of greeting him when his special Alitalia jetliner touches down at Andrews Air Force Base - the first time the president has greeted a foreign leader there. Bless you my peeps!

Since the American media can't seem to utter the word Christianity without also mentioning the priest sexual abuse scandal in North America it is reasonable that they would ask Pope Benedictine about it on his flight to America...

They did not disappoint.

I found is answer satisfactory. More importantly I believe him.

"It is a great suffering for the Church in the United States and for the church in general and for me personally that this could happen," Benedict said. "It is difficult for me to understand how it was possible that priests betray in this way their mission ... to these children."

"I am deeply ashamed and we will do what is possible so this cannot happen again in the future," the pope said.

Benedict pledged that pedophiles would not be priests in the Catholic Church.

"We will absolutely exclude pedophiles from the sacred ministry," Benedict said in English. "It is more important to have good priests than many priests. We will do everything possible to heal this wound."

And now comes the real test - eradicating all the pro-homosexual-behavior instructors at the Catholic Universities and Seminaries in the U.S. to effect this outcome.

Let's be clear - the "priest sex abuse scandal" is in large majority measure - a homosexual problem (something never really mentioned in the media.)

Homosexuals manipulating and taking advantage of younger boys and passing on the the perverseness of their carnal pleasure to unsuspecting young men who only wanted to serve God and their church.

Fortunately from what I can tell of Benedict he seems like the kind of clear mind that will do what is necessary...

Boy!

Ok if Congressman Davis were from Delaware or some other backwoods northern state - you could possibly make the argument that he didn't know that calling a black man, "Boy" had the connotations that it carries with it.

But he's from KENTUCKY...

Sometimes we GOP'ers don't elect the brightest bulbs in the store either...

Nonetheless Congressman Davis wrote a personal letter to Senator Obama on Monday apologizing for his own "poor choice of (some would say BITTER) words..." (Rumor was that while dictating the letter to his secretary Congressman Davis was clutching a .44 caliber in one hand and a fat copy of the King James in the other...)

One of the more humorous aspects of this story however is how stupid, ignorant, and uppity Obama's boy gets in the final paragraph. In essence overlooking the racially charged tone of Davis' original comment the Obama spokes-dude reacts to its substance:
Monday, Obama spokesman Bill Burton told NBC News:  “It's hard to tell what is more outrageous — Representative Davis’ condescending and personal attack, or his absurd and offensive claim that Barack Obama is not prepared to defend America.”
Now being the father of an African American son whose skin is far darker than Senator Obama's - I'm fine with the whole, "don't call me 'BOY' honkie" mentality that might have caused some emotional scarring for the sensitive half white Senator who grew up in Hawaii. But Burton lost me completely when he says its all outrageous to believe that Obama is not prepared to defend America.

I mean...

When HAS Barack Obama ever defended America, or even ADVOCATED America's right to defend itself - his vote on the matter be damned?

Can Mr. Burton please tell this boy the who what when where and how THAT happened?

Obama's new campaign trail theme song - same tune as America's "Lonely People":
"This is for all the bitter pe-ople, thinking that life has passed them by...
Don't give up until you drink from the federal dole...
She'll always take you down and never give you up...
You never know until you try..."

Marriage BAD!

The lefty trolls came out in force to try refute my syndicated column this week. It appears on TownHall's front page today.

Can you answer the question, "Why does Barack Obama hate the institution of marriage?"

It's worth TRYING to answer at least...

Role Model?

Where is Zane Lamprey when you NEED him? Is it just me or does her goofy grin look a little odd?

And what WOULD liberals be saying if Bush had campaigned in such a "three sheets" fashion?

...it HAS to be bad...

Gossip Girl
I don't have a teen that watches this show. I don't know anything about it. But this  both pornographic and simultaneously profane poster promoting next week's "new episodes" is reason enough for the CW Network to hear from a lot of people.

To be clear - I'm not sure that most of America is all that comfortable with "orgasmic-cries-taking-the-Lord's-name-in-vain" fare for our 13 year old daughters.

Oh my "WHAT"?

Canceled!

A few months back John Gibson rocked his time-slot. Then some dufus up the  food chain decided he needed to be "sexied up" a little. The Heather Nauert fast track was put into play but as likeable as both individuals are the effect of the move was not beneficial from a ratings perspective...

And now it has officially cost Gibby his timeslot as well...

I like Hemmer and Kelly - in fact I think they have a lot of personality.

The image “http://www.cameroncole.com/gallery/News_Babes/Fox_News/Megyn_Kendall/200503010001.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

But if Gibby's solo show was in a timeslot against "America's Election HQ" and even if Fox put the attractive and leggy Kelly in a swimsuit - I'd still take Gibby's show.

It was just THAT good!

Pro-life with a bullet.

My friend Jill Stanek began encouraging readers to take a listen to the new Country Music "pro-life" offering from the group Bluefield. Evidently because of a bit of exposure in the blogosphere the group is getting additional terrestrial airplay from radio stations - that were previously skiddish to the song because of it's overt pro-life viewpoint.

It's also climbing the iTunes download list... You can also join their MySpace here.
