When gas prices were rising, we got a cent by cent update by the MSM. In my hometown, gas prices dropped nearly a dollar in the span of seven days. "The national price for regular unleaded gasoline is $2.91 a gallon, the cheapest since October 29, 2007." The national price for regular unleaded gasoline is $2.91 a gallon, the cheapest since October 29, 2007.Why is the media silent only now that there is good news to report?

This weekend when Sarah Palin threw her generous shout out to my radio partner Stevie B, many people commented on how unexpected it appeared to Alec when she landed the line on WHO was her favorite Baldwin brother... It shouldn't have been. As I have said repeatedly on this space. Alec is a liberal whose ideas are vastly different than mine (and Stephen's as well for that matter). But at the end of the day there is a gentlemanly quality to Alec that has been overlooked in much coverage that he has been forced to endure over the last two years. He proves it again in his mildly biting critique, but quite supportive blog post over at HuffPo on some of the heat he has had to take over appearing on SNL with the Vice-Presidential nominee. Alec has been a sport and dialed the 'Xtreme' Radio show up several times since we've been on the air. (Most recently the weekend following his big emmy win.) On each occasion he has spouted his support for Obama, but his demeanor has been reasonable - something that can not be said for the majority of Obama supporters. Alec also openly criticized the Democrats for their role in the recent financial crisis - most notably Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, and the Congressional Black Caucus for the causing the institutions of Fannie and Freddie to avoid important scrutiny when some needed oversight was being pushed repeatedly by the administration in 2001, 2003, and 2005, and when McCain authored a bill that would've authorized major oversight reformin 2006. And Alec did so on Bill Maher's show on HBO - not even close to being a harbinger of things right wing. Alec and I disagree on many things... but we agree that civility needn't take a back seat just because differences exist, and I don't mind telling him I appreciate his getting it right from time to time...

Senator Poopy Pants John Kerry did Barack Obama no favors today by yet further lowering the tone of the campaigns today... But this is the same guy who cussed out his entire campaign staff when he lost in 2004, and faked his own heroism in Vietnam - including self-nominating his own three purple hearts to get DISCHARGED while John McCain was getting his bones broken, shoulder blades snapped into pieces, and having the literal crap beat out of him on a daily basis by the Viet Cong. Yeah - as bad as some recent times have been, I'm still really thankful that we didn't get sentenced to Senator "film himself" to reinact his war "escapades..."

I don't believe that Obama is a covert Muslim. I just think he did pal around with terrorists (new proof of that yesterday). And I think he went to a "church" where an American hating, race baiting, bigoted "pastor" preached bile-spewing views for 20 years.

CAPTAIN ED SAYS:
"(Kevin) allows his observations to give readers context for his advice to men seeking to assert their masculinity in healthy, productive ways that will benefit not just themselves — in fact, not primarily themselves — but their wives, children, and communities. He writes about the differences between equality and sameness, and how the confusion of these two concepts in terms of gender have left two generations of men confused, women dissatisfied, and families in crisis."

"Those of us who have read Kevin’s column, blogs, or heard him on my show and his own will not find his perspective surprising. However, The Kind of Man turns out to be a very personal work, and in that sense we get an opportunity to know Kevin much more intimately than I have in four years of friendship. Kevin shares painful lessons from his own life at both failed and successful masculinity. As I read the book, I was surprised at how little I knew about my friend, and how affecting these anecdotes are in underscoring his message."
I can't begin to express what Ed's words mean, as he has captured the exact essence of not just what I actually wrote, but what I hope the book is able to actually do in the lives of men, women, and children. It has not surprised me that this book, though dealing with the issues of masculinity has sold so well across the spectrum of men and women alike. My goal is stronger families, a more secure environment for children, more effective communities, and more Godly churches. Missing in that equation in today's scenario is the well balanced, compassionate, and unrepentantly strong man! And if my failures and observations can help correct that course then I'm thankful for the chance to do so... (On a side note - my friends at GLYBooks.com are the only folks who have signed copies. With Stevie B and I broadcasting from their Long Island location Saturday night I was able to sign several dozen so until they run out - grab one or a handful.)

Yes - I told you there were weapons of mass destruction too... Colin Powell did what people had been predicting since the summer he would do, side with the new owner of the Democratic plantation. In doing so, no doubt, the press will see this as a referendum on Obama's credentials as COIC. Though if Obama had an ounce of integrity he'd shun Powell completely as one of the main advisers to President Bush who "got us into this mess." (Side note: I don't believe Powell "got us into any mess." He believed the intelligence to be what every other person on the planet believed it to be. After all he was the one dealing with the data processing it and putting together our United Nation's response. Powell was betrayed deeply and personally when the French lied to his face.) But if you pay attention to what Powell was really saying for him - it was all about the Supreme Court and is desire to keep abortion legal - and likely force redefined marriage down the throats of the America that belongs to "Joe the Plumber." Oh yeah... that and "McCain's being a meany."

"Alec said what?" It was highly ironic. Stephen and I were signing books and packing up gear from our live remote last night at one of our fabulous sponsors (GLYBooks.com) when StevieB got the word that ALEC was going to be on SNL with Sarah Palin.
As we were finishing up chatting with some local Long Island newspapers and New York Newsday, Stephen asks Peter and Liz (the owners of GLY) if they had a television handy.
By the time they had gotten to one - Stephen had already been given a record-setting audience shout out from McCain's number 2.
By the time I caught up to Stephen it was clear he did not know that he had been recipient of Gov. Palin's kind words...
If you missed it - check it here:
Stephen left me a message today about an hour before posting this, relaying to me that his labeling of Barack Obama a "cultural terrorist" was continuing to create a rise in liberals, I'm sure it would have been encouraging for him to know that Gov. Palin thinks he's groovy...

For those of us who listen to BMX Radio and love our very own Stephen Baldwin, it probably won't come as a surprise that Gov. Palin feels the same way. On last night's episode of SNL, Alec Baldwin was introduced to Palin and told her "You are way hotter in person." Her reply: "Why thank you . . . and I must say, you're brother Stephen is my favorite Baldwin brother."I would agree.

Answer his question one day, stab him in the back the next... What kind of donkey's backside treats the people he's begging to lead this way? It wasn't the working class people's fault that Obama gave such a God-forsaken, Marxist, wholly unacceptable answer to the question.
That's Obama's stupid fault...
But do you see what's happened here?
One minute Obama comes to the rope line seeking to appear caring and concerned about the everyday, working man "Joe." He puts on a concerned look on his face. He breathes his closeted smoker breath all over Joe and the people surrounding him, then posits what he totally unassumingly thinks is a "compassionate" answer in telling Joe that he wants to spread Joe's wealth around FOR HIM.
Now because Obama is far too teathered to his leftist dogma that he didn't even realize how his marxist claptrap would be received, he then gets dogged with it in the debate, and because he has been so roundly embarrassed by the results of what he told Joe... Joe has now become the enemy.
Obama's media thugs have dug up more info on Joe in 48 hours than Obama has allowed to be released to the public about himself over the past 2 years.
Obama's tactic - if you can now believe it - in order to recruit the working class vote - is NOW ATTACKING the working class people - openly mocking them now in his rallies. This video tells us a great deal about what kind of ELITIST SNOB Barack Obama has always been - but now is on display for all to see:

The headlines said something about Stevie judging a boxing match with Michael Lohan and some business dude, so while at a press conference to talk about his role in it - in a moment of grand levity - Stephen challenged Barack Obama to a boxing match saying, "I'd like to knock some good sense into Barack... I wouldn't hurt him. But if he wins the election, he'll hurt me. He's a cultural terrorist." NEWS MEDIA has been hounding for Stephen to explain his actions - but he's holding his fire until hour number two and KMC gets the first questions to him on the matter. 800.345.9622. I recently received an action alert from a public policy center that made me sick to me stomach: "The continuing saga of Isabella Miller, a small child caught in an interstate child custody tug of war, faces a critical step in just over a week when a Vermont Court hears a petition for custody from the lesbian former partner [whom Isabella has not seen in TWO YEARS!] of Isabella’s mother. A series of court rulings against Lisa Miller, Isabella’s biological mother, have brought the case to this juncture. Most recently, the Virginia State Supreme Court ignored our marriage amendment and turned the decision making power in this case over to Vermont. It is possible that the court in Vermont, when a hearing takes place October 27, could turn Isabella over to a woman who has no biological or legal ties to the child. In other words, Vermont could so greatly expand the definition of the word “parent” that it becomes almost meaningless…similar to what courts have done to the word marriage. According to Liberty Counsel, the legal group representing Lisa and Isabella in this case, “If Vermont can declare from the bench that a legal stranger is a mommy to another woman’s child and then have it enforced in a state with one of the strongest marriage amendments in the country, then, on the issues of marriage and family, our country will no longer be the United States of America but instead will be the United States according to Massachusetts, California, or Vermont.”

Obama supporters stealing the votes of the mentally challenged... I'm not sure exactly how many stories I've relayed here documenting the massive voter fraud being committed by the types of scoundrels supporting Barack Obama. But stooping to the level of stealing the votes of the developmentally disabled? Really? (Yes we can...) ...word!
