Hawaii, the most left state in America (literally), has ended it's universal healthcare program after just seven months.

"A state official said families were dropping private coverage so their children would be eligible for the subsidized plan."

"People who were already able to afford health care began to stop paying for it so they could get it for free," said Dr. Kenny Fink, the administrator for Med-QUEST at the Department of Human Services.

If Universal Healthcare can't survive in ONE state, does Obama really think it would work for the whole nation?

If kids don't see enough of Obama on TV and campaign signs, they can now pull out their textbook and study him further. A school in Wisconsin that "includes a chapter on Democrat Barack Obama but nothing on his opponent John McCain is unfair and troubling, the Wisconsin Republican Party argued Thursday....The chapter in question includes an excerpt from Obama’s 2004 speech at the Democratic National Convention and a portion of his 1995 autobiography."

With kids being required to read about Obama in school, I can see why he doesn't support vouchers...

Stephen Baldwin denounces 'Gossip Girl' during his speech picture
Cultural Terrorism Czar

It may come as no surprise to any who reads this space that my buddy, friend, and fellow radio partner has been known to make a little news every now and then.

Yesterday he relayed to me what most of the media picked up on in today's coverage... and yes it's true... Stevie B has challenged Barack Obama to a boxing match.

And yes its true that he'd like to knock a little sense into him...

My word to my buddy Mr. Baldwin, "get in line."

Joe the Plumber would like to have another chance to follow up on the marxist bunk that Obama spewed at him day before yesterday.

John McCain would like to see Sen. Government actually keep his word and show up for things he says he would, "anytime, anywhere."

The small business owners of America would like to have more than a few words about the insane 45% federal tax he wants to assign them - as though they live in mansions or something.

And just about anyone who owns a 401k would like a series of private face to face meetings with Obama, his thuggish rent-a-mob who tries to silence opposition, his racist mentor, his terrorist buddies, and most of all the whack jobs at ACORN that shook down banks - forcing them to give loans to people that should never have gotten them - and thus causing 80% of the nation to lose about 37% of what we have saved for retirement.

And even that doesn't even begin to account for the feelings that swell up within me at the thought that Barack Obama is the only person in the United States Senate who voted in favor of allowing Down's syndrome babies to die without food, water, or other life sustaining aid in Illinois hospitals. But beyond that he has the gall to lie (repeatedly) about his vote - when the record has proven him a liar.

Yeah - Stevie, I love yous and all - but listen here my friend, you ain't de only one who wants to knock some good sense into Mr. Community Organizer and the line forms to the rear...

I don't know how wise a strategy it is for Democrats to be on the attack against a working class man from Ohio.

The reason that Joe the Plumber got inserted into the Presidential race was not because of anything John McCain did. It was because Barack Obama gave Joe a snarky, communist, answer to a legit question.

Joe the Plumber is a guy who is wanting to BUY the company he's been a slave to these many years. So the guy has put some money away and is sacrificing to do it. Because he will be the business owner he may in fact GROSS over $250,000. But here's the problem - he has to meet payroll. Simply cutting the gross in half and now you're way UNDER $250,000 per year. What about overhead, supplies, storage, tools, legal services, accounting.

But under Obama's plan here's what "Senator Government" would LIKE to do:

Joe the Plumber gets called to a job site, standard thing - kitchen sink fix, final bill comes to $100. But now Joe will have to turn around and give between $40-$45 of it away to Sen. Government.

NOW GUESS WHAT HAPPENS.

In order to still clear his operating cost Joe the Plumber now has to raise his rates to still clear the needed $100. So the price on the job just jumped to $180 - nearly double.

But WHY? Joe the Plumber's not making a CENT more on the job but the person who needed to hire him just had to fork over almost twice as much money?

So that Barack Obama can "spread the wealth" around.

So what do the Democrats do on the morning after they wake up and realize they've just spit in the eye of Joe the Plumber, and are now going to make me pay almost TWICE as much for the services I need to live?

ATTACK US?

Like I said, I'm not so sure this is a good strategy...

During last night's debate:

1. Obama said this campaign should not be calling the other candidate a "bad person"

I believe in evil and I believe evil should be confronted and defeated. Obama may not like it that his actions have moral consequences but the associations he has and his radically anti-life positions will and do. These are issues that DO have a right and a wrong side and it is not "negative" to bring them up.
Obama also has to take a firm stand on moral issues. He can not keep grabbing things out of the air like "I think sex is a sacred act" and turn around and say the Constitution protects the right of women to kill their unborn children.

2. Obama thinks that Government is the solution to the world's problems.
Obama thinks if we can just take money from Joe Plumber (because obviously he can afford it!) we can create programs that provide universal health care, universal pre-K, cheap college tuition, and top notch education. His plan is a one-dimensional spotlight on government bureaucracy. He cannot say as McCain did that "I've been a good steward of your tax-dollars." All he can say is that HE knows how much money to take from you and HE knows who can afford to be taxed and fined and HE knows where the money could be better spent. He's not my personal financial consultant and therefore it is not his job.

3. Obama lied
Obama's record caught up with him tonight and he was forced to spend a lot of time retelling the stories of his votes against Born-Alive Infants, of his associations with Ayers, and his involvement in ACORN. He sounded like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar trying to defend his positions which are already well-documented. His storytelling didn't help his cause.

Overall, I thought McCain did well. He had the confidence and alacrity that comes with having truth on your side. He didn't have to sit and defend his positions or decisions or inflate his record like Freshman Senator Obama did. He pointed out all the things that conservatives have been talking about and thinking: that our views are fundementally different from Obama's because we believe in putting the power in the hands of individuals...that people, not government. are better equipped to make decisions about childcare, education, health care, etc, and that we do not become more prosperous by redistributing wealth.

Weigh In... CLICK comments below...

10:26pm
McCain: "Because there are not enough vouchers, even though they work, we should oppose them, oh ok, I get it..." (GRINS around!!!!)

10:23pm
OBAMA OPPOSES VOUCHERS...??? Not a position that keeps with the thinking of the majority of black voters. And as McCain appropriately pointed out, 9000 (mostly black) parents applied for the only 1000 vouchers that were available in DC when they were first offered. OBAMA severely out of touch on this issue...

10:22pm
faith.ammen:  McCain: Offer competitions for schools not just throwing money at the problem!

Dear Obama, how is the government going to step up and help local schools? Did you not hear the question that we spend more money per child than anyone else?

Obama's against vouchers? Anyone surprised that he is against anything that puts money back in the hands of the people who give it to the government?

10:18pm
LAME final question on education...
faith.ammen:  Sen. Obama thinks it should be school teachers who should tell your kids about sex and teach them how to use a condom. Crikey. Obama, you can make college more affordable by allowing people to keep the money they earn NOT by creating another bureaucratic program to redistribute wealth!

10:14pm
faith.ammen:  Obama: "Women, with their families, should have the opportunity to make these abortion decisions themselves." So this means he's ok that our tax dollars have to go to fund Planned Parenthood that helps young teenage girls hide pregnancies as a result of an older boyfriend. McCain: "I don't know how you can be merely 'present' on issues of life"

10:12pm
McCain goes gutsy on Born Alive Infant Protection Act... OBAMA now flat out LIES about his vote on the Born Alive act. He flat out lies - repeating the lie that the law already required life saving measures to be given...

OBAMA flat OUT LIED... LIEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

He is a LIAR! LIAR! LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!

10:09pm
Obama: "I believe the Constitution has rights that aren't written there, do not appear in any fashion, and can not be noticably discerned from the reading of it on its merits..."

10:08pm
McCain just SMOKED Obama on judges, and the issue of litmus test...
faith.ammen:  McCain believes in nominating judges who are strict interpreters of the Constitution! People who would be able to see the illogical decision that resulted in Roe v. Wade!

10:08pm
FINALLLLLLLLLLY - someone got darn brave enough to ask the question on Roe v. Wade...

10:07pm
faith.ammen:  I think "Sen. Government" is a great nickname for Obama
McCain must have read what I just posted because that is exactly what I just said: all of Obama's solutions rest in the hands of the government! And thanks to McCain for finally reminding the American people that DEMOCRATS have been in charge for the past two years

10:03pm
CLASSIC COMEBACK FROM McCAIN: "Joe... you're rich!"

***DRUDGE REPORT*** = McCain is kicking Obama's butt in his one person per vote poll...

10:00pm
"I'll talk to Joe to... Joe... if you're out there..."

How ARROGANT IS THIS dude? He just shook the man's HAND yesterday. Here he is acting like John McCain is making up the "joe the plumber" when it was Obama's OWN commie comments to him that created "joe the plumber" to begin with...

faith.ammen:  How can he be so audacious to consider "Joe the Plumber" the "big" business that "deserves" the extra taxes so that his wealth can go to those who make less

9:55pm
McCain points out that Obama doesn't want free trade with an ally but will sit down without condition with Hugo Chavez...
faith.ammen: Can someone tell Obama that laughing when McCain speaks is unattractive and annoying?

9:51pm
McCAIN slaps back at OBAMA, "Pay attention to his words... DRILL NOW!"
faith.ammen: Obama: "We can look at drilling"/McCain: "DRILL HERE! DRILL NOW!" Obama questions how much oil we can produce? He should visit Alaska sometime... I love seeing McCain knowing he has the truth on his side and speaking it passionately and not being hypnotized by Obama's words

9:50pm
faith.ammen: May I also ask why Sarah Palin's experience was questioned and the same question wasn't asked of Freshman Senator Obama?

9:48pm
OBAMA on oil, "I AGREE WITH McCAIN!!!!!"

9:47pm
Faith joins the live blogging:
faith.ammen:  On the topic of energy, have any of the news networks noticed the dollar drop in gas prices? Just since I left for a roadtrip last Saturday, gas prices have dropped 40 cents. It is under $3 in my hometown...

9:46pm
McCain BUSTS Obama on NAFTA... McCain is very ON with the "eliminating the need for middle eastern AND Venezualan oil.

9:42pm
On the dumbest question of the night - McCain won the issue. Palin was a reformer - stood up to special interests - returned money to tax payers - and her husband's a tough guy too. McCain also gave BY FAR the better critique of the other guy's VP. "Cockamamy idea of splitting Iraq 3 ways..."

9:40pm
STOOOOOOOOPID question of the night, "Why is your VP better than his VP!" STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPIDDDDDDDDD!

9:38pm
Obama seems to be getting increasingly defensive on the negative associations...

9:36pm
McCain gets in shots on ACORN and Ayers... FINALLY. Obama attempts to again does his LAME song and dance about how he didn't know Ayers that well...

9:31pm
Obama's answer on John Lewis was a total fabrication. He claimed, that "all reports" stated that observers said that McCain supporters were yelling "kill him." McCain calls Obama on the "C*nt" t-shirts as well. And stands up for the veterans and others who pack out the McCain rallies.

Bottom line Obama does not repudiate John Lewis' vile statement equating John McCain with George Wallace.

9:24pm
"Taking the high road..." McCain: Obama could have sat down and done ten townhalls by this time. Senator Obama did NOT repudiate the remarks by John Lewis. McCain also accuses Obama of not keeping his word on public financing. "You didn't tell the American people the truth, and the highest amount of spending on negative campaigns in the history."

9:23pm
OBAMA LIED: "I support clean coal technology..." (Which he has not in any way shape or form in any tangible vote or illustration.)

9:22pm
OBAMA voted TWICE to increase taxes on families making $42,000 a year. Also points out that Obama voted for the two Dem budgets that were 24 billion MORE than the BUSH budgets...

9:18pm
Earmarks - McCain wins the "what should we cut" question... Obama downplays earmarks "one half of one percent."

9:14pm
Both plans come in at a 200 Billion additional spending to the fed. Obama claims, "pay as you go" will cover all of his spending... except that while he says that - he will still add $200 Billion to the deficit.

9:11pm
FINALLY brings up the socialist (blatantly socialist) view of Obama... and fumbles it...

9:10pm
How many times can McCain take feeble swings at great big fat fastballs down the middle - AND WHIFFFF?

9:07pm
McCain follows up to Obama and brings up the "spread the wealth..." (SORTA TAKES FOREVER TO GET THERE). Well I take this back - another STUPID - LOST OPPORTUNITY - never mentions the "spread the wealth" issue at ALL!!!!!!!!

9:03pm
Opening comments from McCain on the first question: "They're angry... but we need short term fixes, and long term fixes..." Mentions Fannie and Freddie and reasserts his "floor" under the home loans instead of saying, "but what I'd like to know from Senator Obama, is if he will return the half-million dollars to Fannie and Freddie."
LOST CHANCE FOR McCAIN at 5 minutes IN!!!!

What Should They Do?

I just asked my facebook friends to tell me what they think should be done in order to win...

This so far:
Becky said: "McCain needs to bring up his connections to his cousin in Kenya and have him explain why a US Senator would spend US taxpapers money to travel to a country to support a known terrorist/communist"

Heather said: "McCain had better 'buck-up'!"

Dennis said: "Tell both candidates - if I was the moderator - 'okay boys you got 90 minutes and I'm outta here.'"

Stella said: "McCain needs to say he will cut the pork and kill the terrorists. then let Obama sit and spin on that...uh uh uh uh...."

PAWNS IN 'FRAUD': Freddie Johnson, yesterday in Cleveland, and Lateala Goins told of filling out voter registrations multiple times in the ACORN scandal revealed by The Post yesterday.
"I can," and "I did... seventy-three times."

This state also target of monkey business
by Barack Obama's personally trained task force - for voter fraud...

Does it ever end? Now discrepancies in one more state - Minnesota. Evidently and effort to log jam the registration approval process by waiting till the last possible minute and then back-dumping thousands of registrations, too late to have them analyzed properly:

Organizations are given a 10-day filing period intended to prevent a last-minute backlog of registrations at county elections offices. ACORN officials declined to say exactly how many cards were affected, or how far outside the window they were submitted.

ACORN executive director Brandon Nesson estimated the batch as "less than 1,000," and the timing as "within a month."

In its voter registration drive, which began in January and ended Tuesday, Minnesota ACORN registered about 43,000 new voters, a figure it boasts is 75 percent of the state's new registrations.

Hollywood rarely even pretends to be politically neutral. From celebrity-studded fundraisers to Blake Lively's recent commercial against McCain to Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin, Hollywood boasts it's liberal leanings constantly. But Hollywood has had a sudden change of heart and decided they want to try "to be cautious and not affect the election one way or the other." How will they manage this? They'll obstruct the release of an interview with McCain about his time as a POW until after the election.

"[Warner Brothers] moved quietly over the last few weeks to block any promotional showing of an interview — tied to the release of the first DVD version of the 1987 film Hanoi Hilton — in which McCain spoke of his imprisonment in the Hoa Lo prison during the Vietnam War."

This desire of Hollywood to appear unbiased is rather ironic in light of the recent release of "W."

As Lionel Chetwynd said: "Finding someone in Hollywood who says they don't want to affect the election is like finding a virgin in a brothel."

This starting offensive line is was registered to vote
(IN NEVADA)
by the disciples of the Messiah Barack Obama: ACORN!

Secretary of State Ross Miller said the fraudulent registrations included  forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team.

"Tony Romo is not registered to vote in the state of Nevada, and anybody trying to pose as Terrell Owens won't be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 4," Miller said.

got draft?

Barack Obama announced yesterday one of his intentions that ought to sit really well with father's everywhere.

He would like your daughter to be mandated by force of law to register to be drafted in the event we need to go to war.

No word on whether Obama will require effeminate men to do the same...
