A few weeks ago I posted these Gossip Girl Posters in reference to Stephen Baldwin's talk on terrorism:

http://tvoholic.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/gossip-girl-omfg.jpgggnightmare.jpg

The actress featured in these posters (Blake Lively) recently switched from being the face of "Every Parent's Nightmare" to an Obama babe. In a new ad from Moveon.org she tells young voters: "If you're ever out somewhere and you're considering voting McCain, just call me. I'll pick you up. No questions asked." Moveon.org encourages young voters to "talk to our parents about the risks of voting McCain."

A partner website, McCainFreeWhiteHouse.org, lists four tips to having "The Talk" with your parents about why they should vote Obama, plus three "rebuttals" to have to your parents disagreements with Obama's policies.

It also says: "For adults, John McCain's so-called 'maverick' image is intoxicating and addictive."

Does anyone else find that funny? The only candidate who had "intoxicating" and "addictive" attached to his name is the one women as old as Barbara Walters are drooling on and who has children chanting "change."

This is one of the funniest things I've ever heard AND simultaneously horrifyingly sad and pathetic all at the same time...

Obama voters - who vote race first, and evidently STRONGLY agree with John McCain's policies...

Take a listen...

"Hi class, this is my wife, er husband, uh, uh, whatevs..."

According to the mayor of San Francisco, it's coming "whether you like it or not..."

And now school districts believe that taking first graders to observe the faux, the fake, the unnatural, and the non-genetic act of sexual choice is appropriate material for class curriculum...

TIME Magazine recently accused the McCain-Palin campaign of focusing on "emotional, hot button issues" like abortion and saying that Obama "had once opposed providing medical care for certain newborn babies, who later died. Without any clear context, [Palin's] statements seemed to suggest that Obama supported a form of infanticide."

The author then attempts to defend Obama's record by providing excruciatinglylame semantics. He writes: "Obama repeatedly voted to oppose bills in the Illinois senate that would have declared, simply, that any child "born alive" as a result of an abortion shall be protected as a "human person" under the law. The bills broadly defined a live birth as any child outside the mother who shows voluntary movement, breathes or has a beating heart, among other attributes."

How is that defining "human person" broadly? Why doesn't a beating heart, breathing, and movement not constitute being "alive"? What does Obama expect? A baby to be born with a sign around it's neck saying "I have reasonable likelihood of sustained survival"? If you have been around any newborns lately you know that no baby can take care of itself and needs to be cared for to provide every basic need, from nourishment to diaper changing, and leaving the decision of keeping the baby alive in the hands of a doctor who already attempted to abort the baby and failed is sickening.

Challenging Obama on his views on abortion, on the fact that signing the Freedom of Choice Act would be the first thing he would do as president, IS valid no matter what word games TIME tries to use.

I've said repeatedly that Obama lies as easily as he breathes. More proof of this
has been self-evident in his "giving 95% of voters a tax-cut." (Only I guess its not as self-evident as I would like it to be - because liberals are stupid and do not look at facts when their Messiah speaks.)

But here's the thing. The bottom roughly 37% of citizens do not pay federal taxes. So that means that under his plan only 58% will get a "tax-cut". Those bottom 37%ers will be getting PURE WELFARE. Stolen directly from the small business owners of America (87% of which fall in the top 5%.)

See if you are self-employed, and you run a business it is likely you fall into the top 5%. But that doesn't make you wealthy - not by a long shot.

But the bottom 37% that do not pay taxes would receive a check with monies in it taken directly from the small businesses.

But a word about the top 5% as well...

Small businesses create the overwhelming majority of new jobs. Taxing them additionally (in most cases raising their tax rate to over 40% according to Obama's plan) will cause them to RAISE PRICES and LAY OFF WORKERS. Thusly goods and services become MORE expensive for that bottom 95%.

Not a big deal to the lowest 37% because they have that new free money that grew on trees. But it directly squeezes the middle class into sacrificial territory.

In other words - Barack Obama is seeking to directly PUNISH the middle class by his bait and switch tax welfare program.

Which is why a self-employed plumber like this guy needed to ask the candidate first hand, "Why you punishing me for working hard?" To which the communist candidate responds in as marxian a tone as possible, "I'm trying to spread the wealth around..."

I've planned on writing three syndicated columns that cover the range of reasons why Evangelicals should have significant conflict over even the thought of pulling the lever for Barack Obama.

Two of them HAVE been published - the third will arrive next week.

I FREELY encourage you to forward this post to your evangelical friends who are on the fence, slightly confused, or outright brainwashed about Christian doctrine - and the heretic that is the candidate for the Democratic party.

Here are the first two:
1. Obama's Dishonesty on "The Least of These!"
2. Obama's Buddies "Why They Matter!"

E-mail them, forward them, MySpace them, Digg them, facebook them...

But read them, and encourage your friends too as well. If they still choose to vote for Obama then so be it - but at least they will be forced to do so with wide awake awareness of who he is, what he stands for - or doesn't, and what we can likely expect from him.

the only candidate who has suffered for his country...

I am a proud New Yorker. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I believe it is the greatest city in the world. I believe it has so much to offer those who come to it looking for the best chance in life.

I, like many of the rest of our nation - stood by New York in earnest when we saw fellow New Yorkers jumping out of the World Trade Center towers on 9.11.2001. I, like many other Americans extended our deepest heart, effort, and affection on those who suffered, and who are still suffering today because of the pain of that loss.

But the New Yorkers that are captured in this clip below, are some of the sorriest excuses for Americans I've ever witnessed.

Al Qaeda would be more welcome in this ten block radius - than the man pictured above who had both shoulder blades broken because he loved his country more than his own freedom.

When people are on the pathway to power, it is easy to get lost in rhetoric and campaign slogans. Yesterday, Baldwin & KMC talked about not allowing all the glitz and glamor to overshadow common sense things we should be paying attention to...like who candidates choose to associate with. It is also important to see how candidates view and treat human life. McCain believes in human rights that begin at conception. Obama has a far more subjective view.

KMC & I have discussed Obama's radical stance against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act and I believe it has far more relevance beyond that one vote. How one views life affects every other decision they make in their life. We can't isolate our values from actions.

Palin has lived out her beliefs, specifically her value of life, even when faced with bringing a special needs child into the world. "Every child has something to contribute ... if we give them that chance," [Palin] said.

Matthew Balan recently compiled a report on the media's discussion of Obama's positions on life. "[The media] barely mentioned Obama’s pro-abortion stance during the primaries — from the launch of his candidacy in January 2007 through the end of the primaries in June 2008, just six out of 1,289 network evening news stories about Obama (0.46%) mentioned his position on abortion; none discussed it in any detail."

As Palin said: "Please, it is not negative and it's not mean-spirited to talk about his record." Why is the media pretending that the way Obama views life won't affect the way he runs the nation?

http://images.huffingtonpost.com/2008-02-25-ObamaAyers.jpg

As Baldwin & McCullough are talking on BMX Radio about Obama's associations with Ayers and Rev. Wright, I wonder why the media doesn't use the same descriptive language it recently used to discuss Palin's position when reporting on Obama:

"In preparation for a report on the investigation into whether Sarah Palin fired Alaska’s public safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, for personal reasons, on Friday’s CBS Early Show, co-host Maggie Rodriguez declared: "Palin on the hot seat. Alaska lawmakers set to release a report today on the Troopergate investigation. We'll go live to Alaska for the latest details on the potentially explosive report." Co-host Julie Chen later introduced the segment by explaining: "The McCain-Palin ticket is bracing for what could be an embarrassing report."

Has any reporter called the Obama-Ayers association a "potentially explosive report"? Have they told the American people that this information might be "embaressing"? No.

Recently, Evan Thomas, Editor at Large with Newsweek, charged: “If he loses the election because of that, it's a disgrace.” Totenberg alleged Sarah Palin's anti-Obama rhetoric is “pretty ugly and a little scary."

The Obama-friendly media filter strikes again...

On Saturday nights Baldwin McCullough Xtreme Radio is super charged about having AM 970 The APPLE as our flagship home. So if you're in NYC, and you "heart" BMXRadio, get it tuned in on AM 970 Saturday nights - 9-11pm EST.

Rumor has it that talks are progressing in two more major markets to bring 'Xtreme' Radio your way. For fans in SACRAMENTO, California and SEATTLE, Washington - I understand that we are closing in on potential outlets for 'Xtreme' to be cleared soon. I've also received word that we might also soon make clearance on one of my former CHICAGO affiliates. Exciting things are happening. Would you like to bring that excitement to your city? Go to the bottom of this post and contact Bryan Brown and ask him to get 'Xtreme' Radio on your favorite radio station.

We also welcome our newest affiliate WRJZ AM 620 in Knoxville, Tennessee.

MAN have we got a show for you tonight!

Here's just SOME of what we're hitting on Saturday night - so be by the radio or the internet (9pm EST):

1. Our associations, do they matter?:

http://ironwhirlygig.files.wordpress.com/2008/05/ayers-flag-color.jpg

The question of "associations" became one of the hot topics this week. Pulitzer Prize winner Charles Krauthammer spoke at length about it. But it any of it fair? Do you get judged by what your friends do? Is there anything your friends could do that would ultimately cause you to be shocked? And what does it say about you if your friends are engaged in behaviors you "do not approve" but you never speak out? In other words - Do ASSOCIATIONS matter? We ask, you comment - 800.345.9622 - call us toll free in hour one.
Resource: The Kind of Man Every Man Should Be.

2. Some of them want to abuse, some of them want to be abused...

Palin in St. Louis

The headlines read that she "ABUSED HER POWER" but the report filed by the investigator seems to say she acted lawfully. And that it was her inaction that seems to have been the "abuse of power." Is that even possible? The investigator is in essence saying - she acted lawfully, and she "inacted" unlawfully... Can someone please explain this? 800.345.9622.

3. PLUS: Major corruption in nearly all of the swing states...

PAWNS IN 'FRAUD': Freddie Johnson, yesterday in Cleveland, and Lateala Goins told of filling out voter registrations multiple times in the ACORN scandal revealed by The Post yesterday.
1 voter, 72 votes...

Voter's at political rallies have had enough!!! Why should an organization get to commit voter fraud all up and down - every one of the swing states? And which present Presidential candidate has spent the most time helping the organization ACORN do just that? PLUS Clinton Democrats are saying that one of the candidates may now be undergoing investigation for RICO violations with ACORN

DON'T FORGET NEXT WEEK: On October 18th (A WEEK FROM TODAY!!!!) come out for our first LIVE remote from Glen Cove Long Island at GLYBooks. We'll be signing books, doing the show live and taking your comments instead of callers - LIVE at GlyBooks.

We'd like to thank our sponsors for making it all happen: Christian Values Network, Compassion International, GLYBooks.com, FRCAction, and Hit Me Energy Shots.

Help me sir...

His name is John, he lives in sub-Saharan Africa where the AIDS pandemic is beyond horrific. Entire villages are missing adults, parents, and persons over the age of 20. John is one of four children in his family.

Compassion International has been reaching out to work with John on some nutritional development so that his decidedly under-developed body will begin to grow properly for his age.

His swollen head, distended belly, and microscopic arms and legs all point to severe malnourishment and the need for proper nutrients like vitamins, proteins, and carbohydrates.

My wife and I sponsor four children with Compassion and let me tell you it is not only EASY to do - but SO rewarding in doing it. For basically $1.07 you are able to provide John - clean clothes, purified drinking water (which guards against stomach issues, dehydration, and diarrhea), nutritionally balanced foods, schooling, medicines, doctors visits, and even some micro-enterprise for his family to be able to gain an income, or at the very least grow their own food.

PLEASE click on John's picture right here:

Send for the information, and help save this cute little boy who has lost so much, but has so much to still live for.

You will be GLAD you did!

When the three major networks decline to fact check the claims of presidential candidates, somebody else has to:
During a discussion [in the most recent presidential debate] on spending, he bizarrely asserted, "Actually I'm cutting more than I'm spending so that it will be a net spending cut." However, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, that statement doesn't even close to being true.

Their numbers show an increase in spending of $425 billion over four years of an Obama administration and only a decrease of $144 billion. And this is factoring in Obama's tax increases as a way of "saving" money. And yet, ABC's "Good Morning America," CBS's "Early Show" and NBC's "Today" all failed to report on the discrepancy.

"LIVE from Belmont!"

10:42pm -
KMC: Pundits agree: "Brokaw made it a REALLY horribly boring!"

10:32pm -
KMC: What don't you know? Not a great question, but a terrific answer by Senator McCain. And a GREAT chance to insert his biography...

10:30pm -
KMC: FOODSTAMPS??????? Was this the first time anyone else had heard that Obama's mama survived on food stamps?

10:22pm -
KMC: Obama, "I issued a statement in April depciting the dangers in Georgia!"
I will pay ANYONE who can prove that assinine statement $10 dollars. I do not for a minute believe that Obama issued a statement as Senator of any sort some two months before the Georgian invasion... HOGWASH Obama liar dude - PRODUCE THE STATEMENT!

10:21pm -
KMC: Obama agrees with McCain count: 7

10:19pm -
KMC: It is CLEAR that John McCain has WON the foreign policy section of the debate and that followed his narrow win on the economic issues at the start of the debate.

10:17pm -
KMC: When asked about what to do in Afghanistan, and Obama responds, "withdraw from Iraq."

10:13pm -
KMC: Obama, "again let me be clear..." (Which he had to say because no one understood how what he was saying was decipherably different than the way McCain had characterized it...) McCain won this point big on the "telegraphing his punches."

10:11pm -
KMC: "Announcing an attack,(on Pakistan)" another significant gaffe by Obama and PROMPTLY jumped on by McCain!

10:05pm -
KMC: MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR Obama GAFFE: Barack Obama just made the case that "moral obligations" may merit our use of military force and military action. YET he claimed he could not understand why we would "attack a nation" that did not "attack us." BUT if he would use force under "moral obligation" (i.e. humanitarian/genocide/etc.), then we would have STILL gone into Iraq - to LIBERATE 27 million people from the thumb of a dictator. Therefore it is fair to discern that Barack Obama does not think the liberation of oppressed people is a "moral" issue. Thus telling us that Obama does not believe LIBERTY is a moral virtue worth defending. Which tells you why he so devalues the HISTORIC liberty achieved by the founding fathers and the history of the nation that gave him the freedom to stand up and say this utter nonsense.

10:03pm -
KMC: Obama agrees with McCain count: 5.

10:00pm -
KMC: McCain - "WE (America) are the greatest force for GOOD in the history of the world!"
LOVELY:  Ummmm America has always the peace MAKER all over the world!
we give our money and lives for everyone everywhere and those people hate us even more. Maybe we should pull out of everywhere we are and withdraw all our money and then see what happens in the world...

9:56pm -
LOVELY:  what is a 50% tax credit? To a small business - 50% of what
KMC Obama lied again on the CHiP program (Children's health program)... He claimed McCain helped "defeat" it. But the CHiP program could not originally find enough uninsured children to even meet the minimum mandates for the basic benchmarks be met...

9:55pm -
KMC: The discussion of rebates on health coverage vs. mandated fines and taxes that Obama would impose against small business that can't afford coverage - was a BIG win on substance for McCain...

9:50pm -
LOVELY:  Obama thinks drilling is important??
stop the presses - this is the 2nd time he's said we have to drill
LOVELY:  finally some basic economic principles....supply and demand people
more supply=prices go down
less supply=prices go up
LOVELY:  if other oil producing countries know that we are going to drill and increase oil supply, then they will drop prices knowing that supply is increasing
it amazes me that people don't understand this

9:46pm -
LOVELY:  newsflash!!! obama favors nuclear power - this is the first I have heard of it...
KMC Obama agreement score with McCain = 4

9:43pm -
KMC: STOOOPID is as stoopid asks... (dumbest question of the night - "environment".)
LOVELY:  people are losing savings and jobs and she wants to know how fast congress will move on climate change issues??? when the rest of the world doesn't care about being "green", and they are surpassing our economies and polluting all the way to the bank...

9:40pm -
KMC: It is frightening - how BALD FACE easy Barack Obama lies about "John McCain wants to give 200 Billion in tax cuts to Wall Street CEO's." NOTHING in McCain's platform calls for ANYTHING to go to CEO's... VERY good for McCain to point out the 94 tax INCREASE votes that Obama owned.
LOVELY: Obama is such a liar.

9:36pm -
KMC:  BUSINESSES NEVER PAY for the TAXES that they are charged with... DOES NO IDIOT ON THE PLANET GET THIS?
LOVELY:  they pass them on to their consumers...

9:34pm -
KMC:  OBAMA: "That requires leadership from Washington." (Like you voting against all energy sources, authoring NO legislation, pledging to TAX businesses into the stone ages, and earmarking your way into Illinois infamy?)

9:31pm -
LOVELY:  how are we going to get more oil obama??
KMC HUH? Obama - just told the world FOR THE FIRST TIME - that he supports oil exploration, clean coal (who Joe Biden opposes), and ta-da- nuclear power...

9:29pm -
FAITH AMMEN:  what sacrifices does he want McCain to reference? Sugar rations? Gas rations? Nationwide curfew?
LOVELY:  I don't see our country today thinking that they should have to sacrifice anything for America...That mentality is gone.
Matlock: Come on McCain, use this as a chance to name some programs that need to be de-funded... How about Planned Parenthood, welfare, universal childcare...?

9:28pm -
KMC:  Nuclear power plants - winning issue... millions of new jobs
KMC I think asking the "which order" questions is kind of stupid...
Businesses LESS competitive?
FAITH AMMEN:  How does Obama going to make us less reliant on foreign oil without drilling offshore?
KMC How about taxing the bejebus out of them?

9:22pm -
Matlock:  Reforming healthcare doesn't mean the government needs to take it over... We want to hand healthcare over to a broken system?  Bad idea!
KMC Matlock make's a HUGELY valid issue... The middle class helped balloon the real estate markets by continually buying houses at their maximum margins and taking out the sub-primes with 5% bubbles... Then they let the clock run out and WHAMMO...

9:20pm -
Matlock:  The middle class were not totally the victim.  They did spend money they didn't have.  Credit card debt is partially a choice too.
LOVELY:  these questions are terrible
FAITH AMMEN:  No, the families HAVEN'T been carrying out their responsibilities. They have used credit cards and gone into debt and bought things when they DIDN'T have the money. Obama's going to spend money on a few key issues? What? Universal preschool?

9:18pm -
KMC:  "Senator OBAMA's NAME was NOT on that letter!"
FAITH AMMEN:  Obama basically said everything was going to come crashing down and when Brokaw called him on it he forced himself to say he was "confident in America."

9:16pm -
FAITH AMMEN:  Obama wrote to the treasury secretary two years ago? I'm sorry, Obama, but you writing a LETTER when you had been in office barely a year, isn't really standing up to corruption
Matlock:  If he didn't promote it but he sure profited from Mac and Mae.
FAITH AMMEN:  Obama came to DC on Jan. 4th, 2005. His letters to secretaries meant nothing two years ago.
"I'm confident about the American economy..." Yet, he just told that guy, "Imagine what will happen when this spreads to millions of small businesses..."

9:14pm -
Matlock:  Down with Mac and Mae! Amen McCain.
FAITH AMMEN:  Yes, Obama IS the candidate who received the 2nd highest amount of money from Fannie & Freddie!
I have been waiting for him to say this since the last debate!
Matlock:  Yes Obama. They will have to shut their doors if you increase taxes because even small businesses bring in over 250K a year.  That will kill jobs not protect the little man from taxes.
KMC: WRONG - The problem was that when REGULATION attempted to be put in place, OBAMA OPPOSED it!

9:12pm -
Matlock:  It scares me a little to not have an economist as head of the treasury and to have someone like a successful businessman.  They may be successful but they may not know principles of econ.
KMC Mac/Mae - GO FOR THE KILL!
FAITH AMMEN:  It's ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

9:11pm -
FAITH AMMEN:  Prosperity DOES trickle down from the top, Obama!!
KMC Obama has ALREADY agreed with McCain TWICE!
LOVELY:  2nd agreement of Obama with McCain
KMC at 9:11pm

9:10pm -
LOVELY:  Obama just agreed with McCain
KMC It is really STOOOOPID to be naming cabinet members before taking office...
LOVELY:  on choice of treasury secy
FAITH AMMEN:  Prosperity DOES trickle down from the top, Obama!!

9:09pm -
Matlock: Did you hear the entitlement in the first question?  Since when is it the government's responsibility to "fix" the economy?
LOVELY:  they don't need a "rescue package" they need for people not to be given housing loans when they can't afford them...
FAITH AMMEN:  Obama thinks the economy is the fault of Republican "de-regulation"? I think he forgot about the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act by Pres. Carter AND when Clinton made Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac buy out mortgages?
LOVELY:  the market is going to have to recover from this...and it will
Matlock:  Do you know how much of the US qualifies as the "middle class" as opposed to the "upper or lower"?  The "middle class" sure is getting most of the focus.

9:01pm -
It begins...
FAITH AMMEN:  whew i made it! Belmont is so close! I wish we could have gotten tickets...
LOVELY:  my friend just graduated from belmont... I am nervous for McCain
FAITH AMMEN:  (he has such a great voice...)
LOVELY:  he needs to bring his A game
KMC:  yeah - if you like frogs in someone's throat
LOVELY:  and speech impediments
KMC:  lispspspsps
FAITH AMMEN:  (do you guys trust the neutrality of all these questions?)
KMC NO!
LOVELY:  doubtful
KMC:  Brokaw - hand picked all of them
Matlock:  the people were chosen by Gallup.

8:55pm -
*** Belmont University Trivia *** - Only little more than 5000 students enrolled. Broke ties with the Tennessee Baptist Association last year...

8:53pm -
Some fascinating back and forth on FoxNews right now describing the question vetting process tonight. Evidently TOM BROKAW got totalitarian control over question selection... Hmmm.
