Broadcast ICON... R.I.P. at age 90

His wide Angel died roughly a year ago... Harvey was based in Chicago, and earned the title as the most listened to voice in America.

At its peak Harvey's syndication numbered over 1200 affiliates. By comparison Rush Limbaugh, today's standard bearer is heard on just over 600 stations, and Xtreme Radio with Baldwin/McCullough on 163.

Are you looking for where you can find Xtreme Radio on a station near you? Check out the "Where to listen" page on our site!

Xtreme Radio is also looking for those with the right positive attitude and don't even know the meaning of "struggling with motivation" to take on some exciting new positions with us in the San Francisco/Bay area, Dallas, Houston/Conroe, Atlanta, Winston/Salem, and Washington DC/Richmond listening areas. Experience in problem solving, self-starting, marketing, and fearlessness are necessary. Experience in sales preferable. These positions are based on performance and allow you to make in excess of six-figures in year one. People skills, a winning attitude, and a thoroughly touch mental mindset will equip the right person to be very successful. Xtreme Radio with Stephen Baldwin and Kevin McCullough is a quite fresh opportunity and your place on our team is your key to financial success and security in these tough times. Send resumes/references here.

Here's just SOME of what we're hitting this Saturday night:

1. When to forgive, guys who beat you:

http://www.babble.com/CS/blogs/famecrawler/2008/11/23-End%20of%20Month/chris20brown_rihanna.jpg

In Hour One... Rihanna took the non-husband wife beater back. Begging the question from one Stephen Baldwin, "When is real forgiveness truly to be expected." Sure he SAYS he's sorry, but does anyone think it will happen again? And what kind of example does this set for young girls who are wondering if a man were to ever lay a hand on them in a violent manner if they should return to the guy who did it. It's not an easy answer, but SHOULD guys who beat their woman's face to a pulp be given access to do it again? Perhaps this is something you've faced, what would your advice be to Rihanna... right now. 800.345.9622 your calls welcomed.

Resource: The Kind of Man Every Man Should Be. (Brand new title on "Manhood")
MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking.

2. Speaking of forgiveness:

http://meaningfuldistractions.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/obama-punch1.jpg

In Hour Two...  Is Obama doing to the nation what Chris Brown has done to Rihanna, wooed us with smooth words, but really gone all jack-hammer up on our face? If you voted for Hope and Change - you get to go to the front of the line. But do you feel at all like a battered wife? Our taxes paying for international abortion, Highest taxes in history, disrespecting the "Medal of Honor" recipients and even forcing people to do things that violate their conscience. Are we getting beaten to a bloody pulp. If you disagree you get to go to the front of the line... 800.345.9622.

Making it all happen...

Barack Obama addresses Congress
"My ways are not God's ways, and Dr.'s will follow MY ways!"

Rachel Maddow, MSNBC's less funny and perhaps more butch version of Keith Olbermann, last night did an entire "bit" on anyone who would compare Obama's policies to socialism as "not very serious people."

We're supposed to believer her because... ...well... ...she said it. It does not matter to Maddow if his policies ARE in substance moving us towards centralized control where the Government becomes the caretaker/nanny and the individual is lulled into mind-numbing moronic infancy suckling off the government's all sufficient teet.

Well if she got that worked up over a few people calling his socialist policies by name, imagine what she will say about the title of this post?

And yet simply because Maddow, and other maniacly insane Obamabots still believe he produces nothing but rainbows, ponies, and butterflies, doesn't mean we shouldn't compare what Obama is doing with others in history who have already done it.

Which brings us to this point: Obama has exhibited a trait held in common with Hitler.

The news was leaked late in a Friday afternoon news cycle so that as few people as possible would pay attention, but here's the very real problem: President Obama is moving doctors to be forced to act against their conscience.

President Obama wants them performing abortions, whether they believe it to be an immoral thing or not. And the comparisons are either eugenist or racist but you can not escape the impact.

In the 1930's and 40's as Hitler wished to use his captive lesser-humans for "experiements" in his final solution, he too forced doctors to do things they did not wish to do. Everything from injecting living humans with horrible chemicals to see their effect, to trying differing grades of poisonous gases in what eventually became death chambers. These doctors, who were purveyors of those things that helped save lives, were suddenly forced to use the medical knowledge they had of death - to end them.

Put another way Obama's policy shift would be the equivalent of forcing those who believed slavery to be immoral and never owned slaves, to begin owning them, beating them, raping them, and exploiting them.

This policy shift that Obama has attempted to slide under the radar screen is GROSSLY immoral, and doctors should disobey it and run a medical mutiny against the administration if it becomes law.

The President did this, as he has done everything since coming to power as a pure, pragmatic, political move to pay off the interests of those special intrest groups he railed against during his campaign.

And for all the comparisons that the left made in 8 years of the previous administration... they never once had such a clear comparison that so vividly laid out the exact parallel between the dictator who thought it moral to gas people in chambers, and now a President who believes that live babies should be left to starve in soiled utility closets of hospitals.

Today Ms. Maddow President Obama took a demonstrable step in the shoes of Hitler... what have you to say about that?

Huck in Kigali
A REAL "man of the people..."

Mike Huckabee just wrapped his address at CPAC. One that was his normal folksy self. But the implications of his ideas were a sharply annotated brilliant division from the now $4,850,000,000,000 spending of the Obama administration. Sure it was some red meat for the packed-house at CPAC, but it was still significant.

One of my facebook friends then took me to task on the page over Huck's conservative credentials and his ability to do what no one expects him to do.

This was my crux of the argument that I served up to my friend. This particular friend being a huge supporter of Hugh Hewitt and of Townhall.com.
Huck has done nothing but continue to build his brand and platform since the election... He has STRENGTHENED his very close roots to evangelicals... He's explaining the challenges of issues every week on Fox News (brilliant move.) And he's writing books on his views on the issues and the future.

He's willing to break it down to the terms of every day man and woman sort of language. AND he has the strongest standing of any prominent GOP personalities with church going Black and Hispanic voters...

He is going to be a FORMIDABLE force in the election.

And I was the first pundit in America to predict that Obama would be President - calling it in December of 2006. (Ask Hugh about my history on Obama and predictions. I was the one who first introduced Hugh to Obama.)

Huck still needs some refining...

But he is working harder, right now, at the moment, in the most holistic way possible to gain a very tight relationship with the base. (Which was a HUGE deficit for McCain until Palin!)
It sounds arrogant but it's not intended to be. I WAS right on Obama. I didn't WANT to be.

I'm not settled on whether he wins the nomination at this moment. But I'm telling you he's doing everything EXACTLY right to win it.

And he's working harder than any of the other also rans to impact the mood, reach, and feedback of the nation...

Even if you hated him... you have to give him kudos for laying the groundwork, and earning his keep!

"Math is hard!"

Biden:
"But what I don't understand from Governor Jindal is what would he do?," asks Joe Biden while on the Early Show. ...And that rhetorical question to Governor Jindal on the CBS morning show, was followed with this. "in Louisiana there's 400 people a day losing their jobs, what's he doing?" asks Biden.

Reality:
"In December, Louisiana was the only state in the nation besides the District of Columbia, according to the national press release that added employment over the month," says Patty Granier with the Louisiana Workforce Commission. According to her, not only is Louisiana not losing jobs. "The state gained 3,700 jobs for the seasonally adjusted employment."

The state also runs nearly 2% lower on unemployment than the national average...

Poor Joe... so many days left in his run as VP... so many opportunities to still open his mouth...

Feb. 25: Vice President Joe Biden holds the first Recovery Plan implementation meeting at the White House in Washington.
"Of course we all know Joe..."

Is Joe Biden the dumbest man to ever be VP? Ok maybe that's a bit over the top. For an unusually racist frequenter of Pakistani owned 7-11's, who works for a black man who's actually clean AND articulate, the man is thick as a box of bricks sometimes.

So here's a better question, has the man ever used e-mail, or the internet?

During an interview on CBS' "Early Show" on Wednesday, Biden told viewers to check out a government-run Web site tracking stimulus spending, but admitted he was embarrassed because he couldn't remember the site's "number."

"You know, I'm embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number?" he asked an aide standing out of view. "I should have it in front of me and I don't. I'm actually embarrassed."

Biden, who seemed to indicate that he thought the Internet worked like a giant telephone, sounded an unusually Luddite note inside an administration often heralded for its mastery of the Web.

(And before you pelt me with technicalities, you're not actually going to think that Joe Biden knew that www.Recovery.gov had a secret correlating numeric url... really? Half of you reading this--thus proving YOU know how to use the internet--didn't even know that...)

So in the spirit of his majesty's brilliance: (one profanity usage warning)

Obama Address to Congress
Absolute power... corrupting absolutely!

On the very simple grounds of pure economics alone President Obama needs some remedial help.

Last night he spoke loud and long about reducing debt to our children and grandchildren... but then talked about the spending already passed "stimulus" (785 billion) and the spending yet to come in the normal budget 1.3-3 trillion dollars... pretends we can print paper money (which evidently NO Democrat knows that the more you print the less value any of it is...) without inflationary consequence the likes of Haiti or Zimbabwe...

He talks about cutting the deficit but says he is raising taxes on total household income on the top 50% of taxpayers... (Which according to basic economic principles always REDUCES federal revenues... this stuff really is elementary but this clown does NOT get it.) So theoretically he will cut deficits by drying up the amount of money in the system to do it... HUH?

He already had five states with GOP governors saying they will reject negligent portions of the stimulus... Now one DEM governor joins them.

He has a revolt on his hands in the Senate.

He think Joe Biden is capable of anything other than being an absolute dufus...

And he announced he would CURE CANCER IN OUR TIME...

And oh yeah - he spoke, so of course the markets are in free-fall today...

Rainbows, ponies, hope, and change...

(*blink, *blink.... uh *gulp)

10:00pm - I've ordered the closing of Gitmo (um... at a time and place when I choose to do so - which could take a long time, because I have no plans to close it at all in the immediate future - because I have no idea whatsoever about what to do with the caged animals we have housed down there... "Have you seen those guys?")

9:57pm - I am going to end this war - and I WILL DO SO BY ADOPTING ALMOST ALL OF PRESIDENT BUSH'S STRATEGIES TO DATE.

9:56pm - Hide the price of the war? Anyone confused on this one... The cost to me as been seemingly WELL DOCUMENTED.

9:54pm - If you're family makes $250,000 not one cent in higher taxes... 2.24.09 9:56pm EST (mark it down for when he breaks this promise...)

9:53pm - We will screw farmers and cut back on defense spending...

9:52pm - OUTRIGHT LIE - passed a stimulus that had no earmarks? (BALONEY!!!!!!)

9:52pm - Swipe number 72 at the previous administration...

9:51pm - If you don't want to pass on a debt to the children that they can not pay - then stop passing bill after bill that enslaves them to greater and greater debt...

9:51pm - Responsibility for our children's education MUST BEGIN at home... (Even I am applauding that one...)

9:49pm - Volunteer and get "free" education... Obama asks for Hatch/Kennedy to be passed...

9:48pm - Dropping out of high school isn't just quitting on yourself, it's quitting on your country... (ALMOST like a Kennedy - a good one anyway...) Highest percentage of college graduates - a worthy goal!

9:48pm - We will expand commitment to charter schools (DEMOCRATS didn't CLAP!!!!)

9:47pm - We have made the progress to give the TEACHER'S UNIONS even MORE POWER in the next eight years...

9:46pm - We have one of the highest drop out rates because of our Teacher's Unions and tenures...

9:45pm - Bringing people together to work on these things and to tell them "I won so :-p 'zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!"

9:44pm - The Obama budget will CURE CANCER "in his time" (in the next four years...) MESSIAH has spoken...

9:43pm - Swipe 4 at the previous administration...

9:42pm - Health care causes a bankruptcy every 30 seconds? (Does anyone every fact check Obama? Does anyone every even bother to see if he's just making this stuff up?)

9:41pm - Did he just advocate clean coal???? (KMC faints...)

9:39pm - CLIMATE CHANGE!!!!!!!!!! Market based cap on carbon (read that - our way to randomly punish businesses we don't like...)

9:38pm - Hey here's an even better goal - how about policies that lead to the largest UPPER class ever in history?

9:37pm - Me thinks he just said FDR led to the largest middle class in history? IS HE NUTS? FDR extended the great depression at least ten years longer than was necessary...

9:35pm - The only way to cure the economy is RAISE TAXES... RAISE TAXES and go GREEN and rainbows will fly...

9:34pm - YAY more government regulations, giving partisan hacks jobs, and ruining the hope of "We The People"

9:33pm - Credit will solve all our problems... S L O W  L   Y  but surely confidence will return...

9:32pm - "Yield to the politics of the moment?" (Like funding ACORN, STD's, and PLANNED PARENTHOOD... Water Parks in Florida....

9:31pm - The cost will be greater still... even more... yay... yippee... so much fun to think how much more it could cost...

9:31pm - THOSE DAYS ARE OVER... now its the group from ACORN who get to pad their paycheck, and redo the drapes...

9:30pm - HA - 12 minutes in and swipe number two at the previous administration...

9:28pm - "RESPONSIBLE FAMILIES" - like those who have defaulted on their mortgage payments for 90 days or longer... (hmmm if I didn't pay MY mortgage for 90 more days maybe I could qualify...)

9:27pm - Break this destructive cycle - by putting more dept on to a nation that is already drowned in it... Throw in a little inflation and boy you got a horrible future currency...

9:26pm - No real recovery without cleaning up the credit crisis... GREAT glad to know that the stimulus just put each of us in dept to the tune of $4290 per person in the entire nation... Meaning that the average family of 4 is $17,000 more dollars in dept than they were before the stimulus was passed... Thank you sir, may I have another please...

9:25pm - Nobody messes with Joe... except when Joe messes with Joe, because we all "know" that half the time no one knows what Joe is up to...

9:25pm - YAY - extended unemployment - so we can be lazy butts longer and not have to create, find, or discover new jobs...

9:24pm - This plan saved 57 police officers' jobs. (Good only 3.48 million jobs to go... according to your promise)

9:23pm - This "Congress" delivered? (He means that his liberal goons acted. More Democrats voted against the stimulus than Republicans voted for it.)

9:22pm - An agenda that begins with jobs... (Only problem is that his stimulus does NOT CREATE JOBS!!!!!!!!!!)

9:21pm - People bought homes they could not afford? (Because Barney Frank and the Congressional Black Caucus yelled "RACISTS" if anyone told them they COULDN'T afford them...)

9:21pm - Surplus became an excuse to transfer wealth to the wealthy?

9:20pm - What is required is to pull together... WRONG - pull together around the RIGHT kind of ideas...

9:19pm - The weight of this crisis will not determine the destiny of this nation...

9:18pm - The evidence of this recession is real... DUH!

All balk, and no walk...

I will be live-blogging the Obama-fest later tonight but as a warm up I HAD to comment on the issue that is very far down the priority list over at HotAir. (Far below the fold, but my readers will understand my passion on this.)

I have had deep seeded arguments with fellow believers over the impression of Obama's credibility as a fully Biblically defined "born again Christian." Many of my well intentioned friends around election time voted for him based on the vaguest of vague descriptions of his "conversion" experience as quoted from one of his books.

Biblical Christians understand the difference in what he said about his conversion experience and the New Testament definition.

Obama:
"I didn’t become a Christian until many years later, when I moved to the South Side of Chicago after college. It happened not because of indoctrination or a sudden revelation, but because I spent month after month working with church folks who simply wanted to help neighbors who were down on their luck – no matter what they looked like, or where they came from, or who they prayed to. It was on those streets, in those neighborhoods, that I first heard God’s spirit beckon me. It was there that I felt called to a higher purpose – His purpose."
A lot of unbelievers hear God's voice, and even pretend to follow it But it is not until one gives up claim to their own direction, admits their lostness and habitual sin nature, understands there is no path to their own salvation, and that it is entirely dependent and entirely accomplished through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that one "becomes" a Christian.

Clearly if the above description is "all there is to it" for Obama then he missed it by a mile.

But the text of scripture talks about something else in the life of a genuine "believer" and that is simply, "the fruit they bear." And on this point we are beginning to see a much more deeply secular President than we've seen in the history of our nation. Even the philandering Bill Clinton at least pretended to be more of a Christian than what Obama is exhibiting...

Case and point... Obama is now having prayers vetted before events that he appears at, and is specifically opposing those prayers that pray in Jesus name.

Friends there is no more simple acknowledgement of one's Christianity than by the admission of their prayers. Christ commanded us to pray in His name. And those who observe other relgious practices understand that "praying in Jesus name" is what makes a prayer distinctively Christian.

His opposition, and motivation for PREVENTING the name of Jesus from being raised in "prayer" at events he is at says something that his administration may feel is being said softly... but is SCREAMING at those who name the name of Christ and follow him with genuine sincerety. No genuinely Bible believing Christian can hold the position that Obama is doing what is right on this issue. For if you believe he is - then it violates the terms of scripture. The two are inseparably at odds on the matter.

Obama has also evidently abandoned all or most church going since hitting the big time. And though no one would blame him for missing an occassional service - to make a point of missing them consistently says something different.

Finally - Barack Obama has not one fellow believer in his circle of advisors. To a person they are secular, godless, and in some cases hostile to faith overall.

None of this is to say that Obama is deeply flawed person. His admiration for his wife and family continue to be a positive example to any and all who witness it. But on the more refined point of Barack Obama being a genuine biblical Christian... he is increasingly falling short in even the most minimum norms of practical Christian living.

He has morally confused politics, because he himself is morally conflicted.

His appointment of pro-child porn Justice department officials, his willingness to take what is not his, from those he does not know, and give it to nepotistic constituencies also speak to this.

He is, more or less, what I described him to be when I accurately wrote the column as the first pundit in America to predict he would be President... a pragmatist that USED Christianity for the purpose of casting a certain image to the public. But like most of his other pragmatic decisions since coming to office... it is failing the smell test...

Not really "wow'in" 'em...

If Barack Obama has had a rough start to his presidency, and it's easy to say that he has. In fact he's made the nation weaker economically than if he had not taken any action at all. (That left little to be desired by his opponents.) Then he adopts the exact same stance on detainees, Gitmo, and the War on Terror as his predecessor. (Which ticked off his friends.) All in all, lots of (*blink blinks) and plenty of (*gulps) for us all to be underwhelmed by what we thought was the product of the second virgin conception in history.

Maybe his rough start has been so colossal that the strike outs of his colleagues are going unnoticed all together. But let's just say that Hillary ain't exactly hitting it out of the park over at the Department of State.

Her task this past weekend was to go to China begging them with hat in hand to buy up more of our quickly devaluing treasury bills.

The problem is they don't wanna buy any more. Especially when they have seen what President Obama has just done by way of financial policy to the American dollar. Our currency, once he's printed enough to pay for everything he just signed into law will be on its way to becoming about as valuable as the Zimbabwe, Haitian, or Somali currency...

Stock up on some gold friends, the Ron Paulnuts were telling us it was a poor situation PRIOR to the bailouts, but now everyone will be seeing it for themselves... China isn't buying it nor our debt. And wise Americans would look at the rationale why... and follow suit.

Angry Mormon turned sad, dishonest, homosexual...

Only two categories into the night and the first little political temper-tantrum broke out... by "Milk's" winner of original screenplay... Dustin Lance Black.

Mr. Black,

It's too bad you are currently under the impression that you're not presently allowed to marry someone. You and every other person who prefers the sexual company of your same gender are presently allowed to marry - at will. You have never been denied this opportunity, but if you have please illuminate us on the specific country, clergy, or state that prevented it.

Since marriage IS the unique union of man with woman - you may find marriage unappealing. But that does not mean you should be prevented from entering into it.

But you sir are also misguided as you are presently entitled to all federal rights that everyone else is. And with your significant other and an attorney you can even guarantee them through legal agreement.

Sorry for your pain - but lying about the state of things at the moment will not help your feelings be assuaged.

Best wishes,
~KMC
