This morning starting at 9am will be KMC vs Dr. LaMont Hill live in the Strategy room... I'm sure that the Health Plan compromises will be part and parcel to some of the discussion. But out appearance together last Thursday was a big hit, Jordan Chariton, the primary guest producer for the SR seemed to think a long term match-up would be in order. Check it out.

Of course with all that's on the plate of the President it makes tons of sense to insert himself into a local police vs. citizen issue right? The city couldn't handle it. The state couldn't handle it. Only a President can straighten it all out. Especially when said President is completely ignorant of the facts, comments on the issue before 30 million television viewers, and gets the matter 100% wrong... Of course he's the one to fix it... Of course he is... Even if he refuses to apologize for being wrong, totally slanderous of one of the parties involved... and ignorant of the facts.

Also... Is it a moral absolute that every one gets health care? Is it a moral imperative? Is it morally right? What if the only plan offered by a government who forces health care upon everyone comes with "catches." Like... mandated abortion funding. Or the right to deny services to older citizens if they are deemed unnecessary? The moral component of health care and health insurance... is it moral?

8:53pm - Obama uses the word "jimmying his way into the house." "Here I'd get shot?"

8:50pm - Obama: Mayo works great!  Mayo Clinic: "We hate the Obamacare idea!" Says Mayo clinic thinks that Obamacare "might make a difference..."

8:47pm - So which is better, having an insurance company tell you, you can't get coverage BEFORE you start paying them, or making you wait 2 years for an MRI?

8:09pm - Spiking the pool by mentioning two nameless Republicans looks like sour grapes and total fecklessness on his part. He has been unable to sell his plan and he can't make the case now...

8:08pm - He keeps mentioning how many people have endorsed his "efforts." The only problem here is that "efforts" are not exact plans...

8:07pm - He continues to insist that Universal Health Care "not" be paid for on the backs of middle class workers... Except he's already admitted he will raise their taxes...

8:05pm - In his opening statement he lied in all three stats about the condition of the economy when he came into office...

The most glaring, "That the economy was shedding jobs at the rate of 700,000 per month."

LIAR!

The book deal that just eluded me... Believe it or not a literary agent pressed me for the option to sign on to co-write this story but alas, another publisher had just picked it up already.

I know she will be ridiculed and mocked, but I believe it is the right thing for her to do. Not only to defend free speech, as she should, but also to do it herself and to say "stick it in your eye!"
