When did schools become breeding grounds for political platforms? There are a lot of important things to learn during those elementary years: reading, writing, numbers, how to share your crayons....But memorizing lyrics to a song promoting a scientific myth is not relevant to a child's education.

A simple song performed at a school concert may not seem like a big deal, but I still remember a geography song my mom made me listen to which taught me the names of all the states and capitols....and that was 15 years ago.

That song was helpful and to this day I can still remember that Phoenix is the capitol of Arizona. "The Warming Song" will not have the same helpful results. Is it really important for today's schoolchildren to "remember" a song that scares them into thinking the world is melting?

"Producer Laurie David told Publisher's Weekly that she wrote the kids' book, "Down-to-Earth Guide to Global Warming," because "kids also are the Number 1 influence on their parents, so if you want to reach the parents, go to the kids."

I believe the highly influential nature of children while they are at this young age has been taken advantage of in order to promote an agenda of fear that has been morphed into a catchy tune.

Never entirely sure of what we will be discussing on this Thanksgiving Eve, but it could be anything from Turkeys to Climategate to Obama's plummeting numbers (ones I predicted mind you.) Well he and a few other high ranking "scientists" who have now been exposed to have conspired, colluded, and criminally lie about the claims of global warming, going back for years now.

Isn't it convenient that off these lies Al Gore's own pockets got lined big time with his entire "carbon credits" system where "offending" parties could buy their redemption by writing a check to...

He lied. He got famous for it. He won a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Nobel prize for it. He got rich off of it... but it doesn't make it any less a lie.

Al Gore did betray this country, took advantage of those who believed him, and we now have thousands of pages of the smarter-than-everyone-else "scientists" who put it all together confessing their sins. Not publicly... but to one another... when they didn't think anyone else was looking.

We are now...

We were so inundated with this rhetorical garbage during the campaign of how terrible America's standing in the world was. (Which was farcical all along given the landslide sea change that had happened in Britain, Germany, and France during the Bush years moving from strongly anti-U.S. incumbencies to prime ministers who were strongly pro-American.)

But let's keep track of President I'm-better-than-everyone-else Obama:
1. Goes to Cairo and gives a speech equating Islamic values to American values
2. Offends our British allies by giving tasteless gifts to the Queen (an iPod of his own speeches), the Prime Minister (a set of DVD's literally purchased from the White House gift shop of 25 American movies... in the wrong format to even be played in Britain... and the British people by returning the bust of Winston Churchill that they had given us in the aftermath of 9.11.
3. Glad hands Hugo Chavez at a South American summit and accepts a gift from him.
4. Sides with Castro and Chavez against the people of Honduras as the tiny nation's government attempted to enforce Constitutional law against a President who was attempting to become a dictator.
5. Kicks Israel in the teeth... several times.
6. Bows to the Saudi King.
7. Bows to the Japanese Emperor.
8. Bows to the Chinese Premiere.
9. Makes repeated concessions to Iran.
10. Offends Germany in not going to the anniversary of the felling of the Berlin wall... ironically a place he stopped to campaign from.
11. Takes so long to decide what to do in Afghanistan that our allies who desperately needed our leadership to remain strong are now fighting PR battles back in their homeland just to be able to continue to stand with us...

Barack Obama suffers an enormous deficit of clarity, and its getting ugly...

As a father of a special needs son who has darker skin than most African Americans in our culture today, I am more sensitive than most when it comes to how people wish to construct the future world that he will be forced to live in.

Having said that I've also suffered my last bit of stupidity uttered by those who wish to reduce him and everyone else to merely how much the government should be giving them, based on what color their skin is. That stupidity is racism. That stupidity has not been banned by supposed "civil rights" defenders." And that stupidity seeks to keep their fellow African American citizens in the ghetto, at the back of the bus, in the gang, in the single parent home, and nearly every other stereotype you can apply.

Only with these purveyors of racist stupidity they seem to be unaware that they seek to only further enslave themselves to special interests they do not serve their long term well being.

Christian Dorsey is one of these purveyors, moments ago completing a stint on Cavuto's show on Fox News. Dorsey is the Director of External & Government Affairs at the left leaning Economic Policy Institute.

In a series of rapid fire questions Dorsey implied all of the following false ideas:
1. That tax-cuts create deficits...
2. That the medicare drug benefit, bailout, and stimulus packages, account for little of the current defecit...
3. That the Obama stimulus package has created in excess of one million jobs...

Christian Dorsey needs to get out more, because Christian Dorsey doesn't know a bloomin' peep of what homie's spouting...

1. Tax Cuts on the top marginal rates have created RECORD REVENUES in the federal treasury  in Washington DC. Historically they have done so 3 times under both Democrat and Republican administrations, and in doing so they singularly armed the Government with the best possibility of reducing deficits on all three occasions.

Dorsey knows this though. Under the Kennedy, Reagan and W. Bush administrations top marginal rates were significantly reduced. Under all three, the year following implementation the U.S. Federal Treasury took in RECORD revenues. Dorsey also knows that deficits are not ultimately, or I should say totally or completely healed by revenue alone. When a President issues a tax cut, and small business put lots of people to work, and lots of working people create larger and larger tax revenue sources, and those taxes are paid accordingly, and the Government finds itself the beneficiary of revenues to a surplus degree, only half of the equation to eliminate deficits has occurred. If Congress, as a result of seeing all this money come in, licks its chops and tosses out all kinds of additional spending measures to secure pork for back home - then a deficit not only doesn't get paid down, but can actually increase.

Such was the case in all three instances. And Dorsey knows it.

2. Dorsey implied that government spending wasn't the primary cause of the deficit. Yet even in his own terms he stated the expansion of medicaid (read the drug benefit of 2003) and the bailouts and stimulus packages were somewhere between a third and half of the current deficit.

Thus Dorsey the unwitting, or dishonest chap he is plays right into the hands of my argument to his first point. The drug entitlement program was the largest expansion of government since FDR. The U.S. Government turned around and not only spent the revenues they had taken in, but spent beyond that. Barney Frank and the Congressional Black Caucus during that point in time had also forced other companies on Wall Street and beyond to be saddled with buying the phony mortgages from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. In doing so the cracks for the economic crisis were formed and when the bankruptcies came due the bailout and stimulus race was on. Dorsey's refusal to admit that spending had any part in the equation to create the deficit betrays a level of dishonesty that is bold even for leftists.

3. Dorsey then threw out the easily disproven number that the Obama administration's stimulus program had CREATED 1 million jobs. (For the record, not even the Obama administration attempts to be this farcical in its nonsense about jobs.)

The best number that the Oministration can come up with is roughly 60,000 "saved" jobs. However many of those have been jobs we have learned since were never in fear of being lost, and in fact some of the stimulus money went to giving raises to people that otherwise wouldn't have been in danger of losing their jobs.

What is provable and easily so is that on Obama's watch 3 million fewer people are working than when he came to office. What is easily provable is that he promised he would let the unemployment rate peak at 8% and that it is currently well over 10% nationally, 17% in terms of the number of people not making the income they need, 23% amongst blacks in Michigan, and 35% amongst black men across the nation.

The ONLY SOLUTION to the current economic crisis is long term tax relief for all Americans yes, but most importantly for "the rich." Who are "the rich?" Well, I'm not talking about Bill Gates or Warren Buffett.

I'm talking about all those "rich" small business owners that create two out of every three new jobs that are created. Empowering the small business to be able to succeed, helps everyone across the board. The same also happens when small businesses grow and are able to become medium businesses or even *gasp shock gasp gasp* "big" businesses. But all of those to a lesser degree.

Getting small businesses to take the risk to begin, develop, grown and succeed--strictly on the merits of their own efforts IS the long term economic solution to America's financial woes.

Mr. Dorsey's bio at the EPI tells us he has much experience in getting community groups to advocate on their behalf. In other words he's great at getting unemployed people to moan about how bad they have it until the government gives them something.

What Mr. Dorsey refuses to see is that if you simply got everyone from advocacy to gainful employment, their gripes would decrease, and their standard of living would increase.

But then Mr. Dorsey wouldn't have anything to do with his time... poor him.

Go ahead Democratic Congressional Representatives and Senators. Go ahead with your plan to try to bankrupt America by forcing down the peoples throats a health care plan that raises costs, raises taxes, adds TO the federal deficit, and brings job creation to an all out halt in America.

Go ahead you two-faced sniveling bunch of liars who tell the American people that your bills do one thing, but then refuse to allow us to read them & when we do we find out they do just the opposite.

Go ahead you snakes...

Now barely 1 in 3 of we Americans even think your health care plan has any merit to it, and January is a comin'.

January will be here when we start running commercials in your districts that show Shelia Jackson Lee taking a call on her blackberry--at a Townhall meeting--when a cancer survivor was trying to explain to her the intricacies of her health insurance nightmare.

January will be here when we begin to target all the moderates whose arms you darn near twisted completely off in order for them to merely let you debate the bill. Those Democratic moderates all along knowing their districts were too conservative for them to vote in that fashion.

January will come and the American people will finally have realized that "Hope and Change" were community organizer speak for "Bait and Switch."

Go ahead Nancy, Harry, and Barack... Your choke-hold on the three biggest offices in federal elective government is coming to an end.

"We the People" have given you your chance to keep your word and you couldn't even do it in the first months you were given the opportunity.

Pass your bills on your party-line votes. See what happens...

It is encouraging to me when a member of the clergy, reinforces the moral teachings of it's doctrine, even when to do so makes it exceedingly unpopular. Such was the case this weekend with Patrick Kennedy, lone surviving member of the Kennedy clan currently in Congress.


This is a very good thing, for it forces Kennedy to do one of two things. Renounce his politics for the authenticity of his faith. Or renounce his faith for the authenticity of his politics. Shocking to no one, Kennedy loves his politics, and the trappings that come with them MORE than he loves his God, the teachings of his faith, or what his Savior accomplished for him.

The Baby Boomer generation that wanted God to be the warm-fuzzy easy-to-manipulate Grandpa in the sky is finding out an interesting historical fact. God is no different today than he was two generations ago.

Oh that people who claim to be his would choose to live in light of that reality...

For if they did, the entire planet would be a different place.

Man this is not good...

I guess bowing to other world leaders has its price huh? Or maybe just having really stinky policies that no one likes and even fewer want...

Rasmussen is by far the most reliable polling mechanism out there. He's gotten the closest to the actual election results of all pollsters since 2000.

But even polls that should be sympathetic to Obama have him LOSING 51%-35% on Obamacare legislation passed in the House of Representatives. And LOSING 53%-41% on his handling on health care period.

And that's the GOOD NEWS...

His STRONGLY approve number is now 27%, STRONGLY DISAPPROVE is 41%. Meaning those who really like him are now outnumbered by those who don't by 14%. (Ties a record.)

His overall approval numbers in Quinnipiac - 41%-53%. In Rasmussen - 46%-53%.

Independents - 35%-59%. Women 44%-49%.

The people may like him as a person, but we seem to want NOTHING that he has to offer by way of policy.

And if he keeps referring to our troops as "great photo ops" I suspect those personal numbers will begin to erode as well.

The producers at Oprah Winfrey attempted to advise the big O to not have Sarah Palin on her show prior to booking the former VP Candidate. Evidently a steady stream of higher than normal negative e-mails were coming in and the producers felt it would be unwise to have such a divisive character mar the pristine purity of America's queen of talk.

At such a suggestion O just waived her hand and uttered, "shush child... I know what I'm doing."

And indeed she did...

Sarah Palin gave Oprah Winfrey the highest ratings she's had in nearly 3 years.

Sure gossip mongers can't deal with the fact that Sarah has such a following. But ladies and gents let's just be clear about the following facts:

1. Sarah Palin added to the GOP ticket closes McCain's loss from an expected 30% to only 7%.
2. Sarah Palin draws crowds equivalent to Barack Obama in final weeks of campaign.
3. Sarah Palin lands Saturday Night Live its largest audience in the history of the show.
4. Sarah Palin's endorsement takes a Democratic landslide victory away in NY23 - where the result is still not final.
5. Sarah Palin forces Letterman to apologize for being... well... his pervy self.
6. Sarah Palin's book tops NYTimes, Amazon and hosts of other best seller lists six weeks before its published.
7. Sarah Palin gives Oprah Winfrey and Sean Hannity record television numbers this week.

The reason that Newsweek will soon learn that thieving a photo and attempting to frame Sarah as a ditzy sexpot on their most current cover, will only backfire.

Sarah Palin will not be the nominee in 2012. But she may be on the ticket, and even if she isn't she will be a force to be reckoned with. And you've just seen the evidence as to exactly why that is the case...
