Barack Obama
Change.DOH!!!

Little did we all realize when the Senator came riding in on his rainbow-excreting-unicorn from the magical, mysterious, and thug-packed police state of the South Side of Chicago that we would be treated to such an unmasking of who the President Elect is and what his REAL agenda was.

Already reversing his position to "insure American safety" he's inviting the Gitmo animals stateside, and in his ever famous outreach to the "pro-family" faithful who were gullible to believe the far most left Senator ever to be elected--he's also attempting to institute policies that will INCREASE abortion (he had sworn he wanted to decrease it in the campaign) and MULTIPLY the numbers afflicted with HIV/AIDS after giving very pretend concerned looks on his face in front of the Saddleback faithful three years running.

Evidently our little NO WE CAN'T!!! campaign here at MHR.com has reverberated in sort of a trickle up (the same fashion he believes economics works) manner, at least so much so that the Obama transition team has SCRUBBED Change.com of ALL campaign agenda promises.

Gone is their own copy of the checklist of what the Unicorn-Mounted-Messiah has promised, thus it will make it much more difficult for some to know whether he's keeping his word or not.

No problem though Faith and I will continue to document every violation of campaign pledges and every broken promise he is ALREADY going back on...

He won't get off that easy.

And just for comparison--whether you agreed with his policies or not--President Bush made these promises in his dual campaigns:

1. Reduce the tax burden on all Americans (thus he lowered the tax rate in ALL three tax brackets--low, middle, upper).
2. Nominate traditionalists to the U.S. Supreme Court (Roberts and Alito).
3. Hold the Public Education sector accountable for how they teach (No Child Left Behind - co-sponsored by Ted Kennedy).
4. To reduce abortions in America and under America's influence abroad (Mexico City reinstated, and abortions fell at home every year under his administration.)
5. To end the discrimination against faith-based organizations that are actually effective in the treatement and help for social, poverty, and recovery issues.
6. To empower the entrepeneurs in America to be able to create job growth (unemployment roughly 4% for the majority of his duration in office.)
7. To keep terrorists from obtaining the ability to attack the U.S. again after 9/11 (a promise that could only be kept in the second term, but one that was kept nonetheless.)
8. To attempt to correct the over-reach of activist judges in their blatant attempt to legislate from the judiciary and redefine marriage to whatever definition suited them, instead of allowing the people to define it. (Bush put forward the Constitutional Amendment to Protect Marriage twice... the Congress did not hold up their end of the issue, but Bush did exactly as he promised he would.)
9. He pledged to create drug benefit as a new availability through federal medicare/medicaid services (accomplished in first term.)
10. To mend Social Security by creating a two tier process by which current retirees were protected but future earners could plan for their own. (This was the major campaign promise he was not able to deliver on.)

Nine out of ten ain't bad. Add to that the focus necessary to keep terrorists on the run instead of allowing them to hijack regions, plot, plan, and attack again.

President Bush has been far from perfect, I've publicly disagreed with him on immigration, bail-outs, drug benefit, and never vetoing bills that had pork added to his agenda items. But on the whole you can not accuse him of not setting his plan, campaigning on his plan, and executing his plan.

Contrast that with Obama who has now taken to hiding his agenda to hope the world forgets what he promised, especially now that he seen easily that he will not be able to deliver on 35% of it - much less 90% as Bush did.
