2pm:
As many adults believe in UFO's, ghosts, and the like - as are fans of America's pastime. They do so - because they seek to fill a spiritual void. Liberals are twice as likely to believe in such as conservatives. And Catholics and non-religious are the MOST likely to believe. CATHOLICS? Nearly half believe in ESP. Nearly one in four Americans believe they HAVE seen a ghost. I can never recall EVER having a discussion about this with anyone. Yet there are those instances that go unexplained. And evidently the phenomenon is growing. Seeking spiritual contact in an utterly Godless existence. The real dilemma is knowing how to respond to those who claim such. 800.345.WMCA.
2:30pm:
Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., joins us to explain why she decided to relent and join Rev. Al Sharpton's "National Black Out Day" this coming November 2 - to repent and pray for the unborn children who are being executed every single day. Dr. King may also weigh in on the Obama/McClurkin dilemma. 800.345.WMCA.
2:45pm:
Courts decide that underage sex for minors is not abusive, but that schools must report underage sex contact - under the age of 14 that is... Yeah... wishful thinking on that endeavor - we can't even get Planned Parenthood to report statutory rapes of girls by 27 year old men. kmc@wmca.com.
3pm:
Eduardo Verastegui the leading man, producer, and visionary of the movie "Bella" that opens this weekend will join us with a look at the film that took the "People's Choice Award" at the Toronto Film Festival. (Of 5000 films submitted, only 300 get viewed, and only 1 wins this coveted title. It is also usually a precursor to the Oscars.)
3:20pm
Adults view children more as accessories - than people, thus the idea that "they won't give up their life" to fit them in - is now epidemic. Brangelina and their babes have moved to and fro such places as New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Chicago and Prague on top of reports they are searching for Spanish stomping grounds. "It would appear that they are attempting to have the children fit into their lifestyle as opposed to them amending their lifestyle to meet the needs of their children," said marriage and family therapist Sloane Veshinski. Some of the couples that run in my personal circle of friends REALLY, TRULY wrestle with the idea of how much of "life" they must do without once the children come. It breeds bad kids, it really is the product of a society that is "me' focused. And it DEhumanizes the children. 800.345.WMCA.
