Ok, that's over the line. I'm no Hillary fan. But, come on. As a woman "of a certain age", I think it's a low blow to criticize a woman of Hillary's age for her looks. Give her credit for trying. Everybody has their bad days.The woman's probably hasn't got much sleep and the stress of losing in Iowa is getting to her.But a picture is a picture and an impression is an impression.Remember Dukakis in a helmet and tank? A lot of people vote on impressionism because they're too lazy or disinterested to dig into issues.Then you have the big picture of electibility where anything can happen to put a dent in that.I think at the end of the day the Dems will break for John Edwards. There's polls out where he beats all the GOP,not that that means a lot.But the Dems are very phobic about losing and I think will go with the white guy. |

If my face looked like Don Imus' face, I'd shut up with mentioning ANYBODY's facial appearance, PERMANENTLY! Nobody I can remember that came out of the Presidency looking as young as they did when they got inaugurated. Otherwise, I agree with Nancy that we're voting for a President not for Miss America or who will be the next Playboy centerfold model. I have better reasons to not vote for Hillary than what she looks like! Do we really NEED her 'mandatory healthcare insurance' plans foisted on us? I sure don't! I could vote for somebody 'ugly looking' with decent policies before I'd vote for a 'pretty faced' candidate with an 'ugly policy' to stick us with! Time for people to THINK before VOTING instead of just voting for another pretty face! |

Your making a game of this is supporting ridiculous, useless, and offensive political discourse when there are actual real issues in politics that can be discussed. If you wanted to have a discussion about how a candidate's looks and age affects his or her chances in elections that would be great but that is not what you are doing here. You could also post about the legitimacy of this tactic of Drudge but instead it is a game for you. Your post and contest add nothing of real substance. Instead it shows that you are a hypocrite, just like Allen says. |

To try and pass this off as some sort of joke against Matt Drudge is a falt ouyt lie, Kevin - and you know it, otherwise you would not have linked to the photo with this tagline "And after all it's so fetching... " - nor would you have stated... "If I were him I'd find a way to keep it there at least until Iowa!".
If you're going to make fun of someones looks, Kevin, at least own up to it. Instead, you actually lied in your responses in an effort to make yourslef appear less cruel and meanspirited. If you didn't care you wouldn't bother responding - but we both know that this blog runs opposite of just about everything you claim to stand for as a Father and a Christian.
Scroll up to the top of this page and take a good hard look at that picture of yourself standing in front of our Flag. Now please explain how you feel qualified to make judgements about other people based on their appearance?

She only inserted it into her own post after Drudge in fact took it down...
And I was saying, "I would find a way to keep it up until Iowa," merely because it irritates Hillary and her supporters SO strongly.
And btw Allen, surely... you KNOW that you're only person who's EVER thought that I wasn't the spitting image of Brad Pitt...
And as far as being perfect in living out my faith - I'm not... I know I'm not. It surely doesn't mean I don't want to be. And if you ever listen to the show you know how easily I cop to my own foibles - regularly... There is no guile in me.
As to those who perpetrate evil - like Hillary I do feel some moral obligation to foist her plans. Or at least to do the best I can at it.
If you desire me to apologize for having strident opinions about things... you better move along. There is a difference between true good and true evil in the world today... and wisdom is knowing which side you root for!
