Andrew Sullivan seems to have taken offense that I asked my six questions. (None of which he took the time to respond to actually.)
Rather he chooses to diminish my quest for truth as:

This is why the Christianist psyche really is the anti-conservative psyche. It is a rigid political ideology, enhanced with the certitude of religious fundamentalism, and deployed with Schmittian ruthlessness. In the end, it must fail. It will fail. And it is failing. All that remains to be discovered is the extent of the human damage it has wrought."
Yet Andy-boy... it is NOT reality. Hence the need for a donor's DNA to make the biological process possible.
THAT'S THE REALITY...
And it is one that no matter how hard you may try to eradicate - until women grow male sex organs and begin producing sperm - will not be ABLE to be ignored. (Of course if they do that - they will be considered men... )

One more question - this one JUST for Andy Sully:
If Mary was not the carrier of the unborn child, but rather her partner... would the Vice-President and Mrs. Cheney legally be entitled to refer to him/her as a grandchild, barring a legal adoption? What part of Mary Cheney would have made the child a "Cheney" if the roles were switched?
Sullivan is so clearly anti-Christian. He should be open and just declare that he is against Jesus Christ and the Bible. This is clearly what he is saying.
His response to your article is evident of his hostility to the basic principles of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Book, the Bible.
If he rejects the Christian teachings concerning homosexuality, then he is rejecting the Lord himself. Since the Bible says this behavior is a sin, then it is a sin. Sullivan cannot fathom the fact that the Lord, the creator of everything, deems homosexuality wrong. Since he cannot deal with this truth, then he will attack your comments on the issue. So, stick to your position like the prophets of the Old Testament. You are doing a good job.
Sullivan is just upset with the fact that the Lord does not deal with moral relativity. If the Lord says something is evil, then it is evil. There is nothing else to say. Whatever the Lord says, it stands. |

The same part that makes an adoptive parent a real parent: raising the child, protecting it, worrying about it, instilling it with her values, etc. It takes more than just DNA to make a true parent.

Once again Kevin you're right on target this week.Thank you for being a voice of reason. You have spoken with in pure UNBIASED TRUTH!
The Cheney situation is nothing less than pure insanity with a presidential seal! It is INSANITY....If a person wants to think they are a Bat, or a cat or even and elephant, in today's society it is alright.
But my take is: "don't ask me to buy into this insanity". No I am not going to buy you bat,cat or elephant food to encorurage you in your insanity. Another example of this insanity, If you think your a Vampire I will not buy you blood. But what I will do is give you help when you need it, and not encourage you in your INSANITY.
Kevin, keep on screaming, you're eventually going to succeed in waking up America's Brain DEAD!
