the only candidate who has suffered for his country...

I am a proud New Yorker. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I believe it is the greatest city in the world. I believe it has so much to offer those who come to it looking for the best chance in life.

I, like many of the rest of our nation - stood by New York in earnest when we saw fellow New Yorkers jumping out of the World Trade Center towers on 9.11.2001. I, like many other Americans extended our deepest heart, effort, and affection on those who suffered, and who are still suffering today because of the pain of that loss.

But the New Yorkers that are captured in this clip below, are some of the sorriest excuses for Americans I've ever witnessed.

Al Qaeda would be more welcome in this ten block radius - than the man pictured above who had both shoulder blades broken because he loved his country more than his own freedom.

Five minutes
I endured five minutes of your silly little video. Lots of thumbs and other figers being waved, but where is one single violation of what is left of our First Amendment? Where is violence?

Although you people have tried to squelsh freedom of speech with your vile, disgusting "Patriot Act," we still have a Constitutionally protected right to peacefully express our views: the McSame folks walk down the street with their signs and the people who can think and read can react are protected by the same law.

THAT is America. Deal with it.

I take it McCain won't carry NYC.

Gee, Kevin, what do you expect? While it is true that most McCain supporters are warmongers the reaction of that crowd was ill mannered, to say the least. But I would expect no less out of NYC.

You wish you had gotten behind Ron Paul now instead of the loser you're saddled with? Paul understands economics and monetary policy. McCain and Obama don't. Just think, it could have been Paul debating Obama about the financial mess instead of someone who is reading Greenspan's book, one of the architects of the problem.

Violation
I watched it, too. There are plenty of examples of bad taste. But where is a violation of the First Amdendmen? Where is a violation of the law?

It looks to me like a very good example of what makes our country unique: the right to peaceful protest.
