Long time Newt Gingrich insider Matt Towery made me laugh out loud yesterday with this headline: Hang it Up, Obama -- It's Hillary's Nomination.
I'm not saying Hillary couldn't eek out a win, but Towery's tone was silly.
As you know - I am predicting that not only will Obama win the nomination but the Presidency if the GOP doesn't get its act together. This is not the 14th post in the series giving solid reasons why.
Well, here's more fuel more for my prediction and that translates into headaches for Hillary...
Obama is aggressively reaching out - even to long time previously firmly "Hillary" committed supporters. And guess what? They aren't showing him the door, they're telling him to pull up a chair.
This bit is the fourth item I recall seeing since November documenting Obama's overtures to Hillary's pillars of foundation - in her carpet-bagging home state.
That follow's yesterday's blurb in the NYDailyNews that traced Obama's surge in Hollywood.
Remember, for the primaries - its all about the core voter - and Obama will garner 97% of the African American vote in the primary. Even Jesse Jackson who had laughably trying to appear neutral between the two a week ago is now shedding such appearances.
"All of my heart leans toward Barack," Jackson said. "He is a next-door neighbor literally. I think he's an extension of our struggle to make this a more perfect union."
"I will talk to all of them, but my inclinations are really toward Barack," he added.
And finally... after being behind Hillary by as many as 23 points, has seen his support in New Hampshire surge 27 points to now lead all DNC candidates in the first state to hold the first primary.
