It was the blonde triumverant of Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, and Barbara Olson in the late 1990's that basically awakened America to the dangers of the liberals in the White House.

We lost Barbara on September 11.

And today - it looks like President Bush has lost Ann and Laura... and in NO UNCERTAIN TERMS!

Laura is absolutely right
We believe in free markets, except when it comes to labor (and oil and prescription drugs). Do you note a pattern here. These are the Bush money pots.

Government for sale is not limited to Congress.

If the illegals are deported the price of wages will seek thier natural balance and there would be no need to raise the minimum wage. The economy would be more (not less efficient) as it allocated resources the way they should be allocated.

One of the underlying assumptions of the theory of free trade is the totally free movement of people across borders (no borders for interest rates/money flows, goods, information and people).

Every theory is an over simplication of reality and has limitations. That is especially true when a theory is applied in the field.

We have reached the optimum (or are past it) in the theory of free trade. If we push it farther (frictionless movement of people/workers)we will not maximize our GDP. We will drag our economy down to the World average.

One other implicit assumption of the theory of free trade is the leveling of goverment services. All governments sooner or later will be forced to drift to the World average in government services.

Kiss your SS good bye, also any delusions about government health care.

Bush 43 is an Internationalist just like Bush 41. He just hides it much better.

It is the Internationalist Wing of the Dem party that is pushing this also. The Labor Unions can't figure out why Kennedy is stabbing them. Well he is an internationalist first.

I am not big on conspiracy theories. However, I did study the theory of free trade in grad school and remember the underlying assumptions. If you ever want to attack a theory, look at the underlying assumptions.

Human?
I enjoy Laura's thoughts. She's insightful and important.

After yesterday's attack on the Edward's deceased son, I am more convinced than ever that Coulter is (quite literally) inhuman. Cut her and does she bleed? I think not.

Sadly, Coulter is not fringe. Coulter represents mainstream Republican thought.

Ingram is the exception to the party's rule.

Too bad. It used to be a great party.
