"oink" I really hate it when "parties" do really stupid things. And I'm not talking about Obama's bribe and bait little play with Arlen Specter. Heck he's been voting from that side of the aisle so long I just figured he had forgotten where his seat was. I'm talking about two of my heroes George W. Bush and Rick Santorum taking some really bad advice and snuggling up to the snake-oil Senator when he last ran for re-election. It caused me incredible pain at the time, but the thinking by all the smart people in the room like some of the other contributors on this website was, "Hey... because they helped him so much, he'll owe his allegiance to them." That little pearl of wisdom gave us a liberal Democrat Senator Bob Casey who is only there because people thought his father was on the ballot, but who ended up helping get Barack Obama elected. Now the move by Bush and Santorum to back Specter over Pat Toomey last go around may permanently install socialized programs the likes FDR couldn't have even dreamed up. And when Obama has steam-roll power over the opposition in Congress these first 100 days are going to look like child's play to what is going to happen. Court appointments, Taxes, corrupt pay-for-play, term-limits, permanent dictator status... it's all up for review now. And why? Because George W. Bush and Rick Santorum DID NOT remove the cancerous tumor when they had the chance. And today Senator Specter kicked them in the face one more time just for the fun of it...
Yeah, I know... it's Bush's fault. For once, you beat a DemonRat to saying it.
Specter joining the side he habitually votes with is probably the most honest thing he's ever done in his life--but don't hold HIM accountable for it, oh no--nor those who paid him to do so. (After all, Maximum Zero is untouchable, right?) |

Hey Donal, Get off, Hosehead. Politics is a team sport. It took a team of idiots to get Specter re-elected, but his exit removes one idiot from our side. His motives are obvious. He knew he would lose the Republican primary to Toomey, so he cut & ran. Good riddance to the gun-controlling, pro-abortion, pro-illegal alien R.I.N.O. Could John McCain be far behind? |

This is no surprise? In all honesty, GOOD Ridance! He was nothing more than a Democrat all along anyway...? Let him now put the name to the voting record... BYE BYE SPECTER!!! |

Personally, I think it ought to be against the law to switch parties while you are in office. It betrays the voters who put you in there. |

I have questioned the same thing. How can this man who was voted in as a Republican just change in mid stream. We all know that he knew the end was near for him but the people voted for a Republican. |
|
"I think it ought to be against the law to switch parties while you are in office."
So people aren't allowed to switch, but can just vote for the other side consistently? That's your solution? |

Munck thinks he can start something...
What's up Bob, is mother fumigating the basement this afternoon?
How's your under-age gf?
|

"Munck thinks he can start something..."
Careful, now. He might give you a good spanking. He's done it before. |

"Careful, now. He might give you a good spanking. He's done it before."
I don't do that kind of thing. If you meant it metaphorically, that I've shown Kevin to be pompous, ignorant, and incoherent, sure; that's easy and fun. You'll note that he didn't even try to address what I said, just went right into his normal lies. |

Weren't addressed to me. You quote another commentor her on the thread.
By evidence of your own comments you do however believe there's nothing wrong with adults sexing up 14 year olds. Aside from the legal limitations (to be fair.)
And that they should be liberated in the law to be able to do so...
Now why would someone even WANT to hold such a philosophical position? |
|
"By evidence of your own comments you do however believe there's nothing wrong with adults sexing up 14 year olds."
Show us that comment. As I've said, I've read through every comment I've made here. Should I re-post them all on this thread? |

He knew that steele would stiff him, which is well deserved. |

I meant it metaphorically, of course. At the same time I can't be sure that Kevin might not be into the sort of thing you allude to. I've noted from the times I come over here that roughly every third post of his has something to do with homosexuality. |
