"I'll spam you!"

Paul’s campaign has attracted “an imposing collection of Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, Holocaust Deniers, 9/11 “Truthers” and other paranoid and discredited conspiracists.” It may not be a case of birds of a feather, but it’s at least a case of lying down with dogs and getting up with fleas. Moreover, “the behavior of Ron Paul supporters (spamming blogs that reference their candidate with fund-raising appeals and flaming anyone who actually dares to express substantive disagreement) frequently alienates far more potential friends than it attracts.”

A Cannidate does have to answer
for the support they get. Atleast if that support seems to be coming out in significant numbers anyways.

If for example I thought a certain cannidate was pro-life, and then a significant amount of devoted pro-abortion extremists start supporting him, I would want to know what was up with that, and I think I would have a right to know.

I would want to know if the cannidate will pledge to work for these people or against them.

But Ron Paul will not disown them. They are his loyal supporters.

They probably support him most of all because he is against government, and these are some of the most anti-American anarchist you can find here. They want to be the king of their own little isolated world and not have to answer to any authority. Basically lawlessness and rebellion.

Still, I am glad that Ron Paul is able to express his views, though I don't agree. It shows that the GOP is atleast good enough to allow just about anyone to express their views.

I have nothing to gain by saying this. It is just pretty much the way it is.

The Ronulans
need to be driven back across the Neutral Zone.

I like small "l" libertarian principals, but their is a Bircher quality (granted not the racist part) to many of Paul's arguments. Isolationism is not going to work. Smaller government, fiscal restrain, etc., Dr. Paul you are singing my song. But when you start railing against the fed and promoting a gold standard...you start to lose me.

When you adopt the ways of your Vulcan brothers you can come in peace.

While this is all well and good
You're blog and Medved have impact on less than 1% of America. So in other words, you're all barking in a padded room somewhere on the moon. All your barking seems to not be working either as Ron Paul will quite easily bring in more money this quarter than any other candidate. Dem or GOP.

Put it in your pipe and smoke it.

Ron Paul Supporters are just fed up
Ron Paul supporters are just fed up with the same promise and then the same bull****. It seems the Republican & Democrat party insiders have teamed up and there really is no difference between them. The people who support Ron Paul come from a very diverse spectrum because people are just sick of the government getting bigger and bigger, taxes getting higher and higher, and personal freedoms slowly being eroded away. The Republican party would do well to give this candidate a better look or else they may end up with egg on their face. If he was not Republican material then why have they let him run as a Republican in congress? Not just once, but for many terms. It looks as if the party thinks it is okay to have people in their party and in positions that don't wield too much power but then when that person steps up and takes a stab at the powers that be and actually wants to follow the constitution they have a problem with it.

All this hatred you have for Dr. Paul is not only unhealthy for you, but it will burn you up.

Other than the few bloody minded, ill informed, and psychopathic dead enders no one cares about this.

But it is still fun to watch you thrash about in frustration over Paul's increasing support.

By the way
who are you supporting Kevin? It goes to show that all candidates attract certain unwanted support. You have more in common with Ahmadinejad in a nutty religious sense than you do a normal person like Ron Paul.

The Ronulans
And while I do not believe Dr. Paul to be a nut or a racist, just misguided profoundly on some issues and absolutely right on others, I cannot say the same for his followers. Dr. Paul seems to attrack the nutburgers from across the political spectrum: Truthers, Facists, Leftists, the mentally ill, it is really quite amazing. Not all Ron Paul supporters are nuts, but a big percentage are.

Great answer, Kevin. I'm not surprised you won't answer the Soros question. With people like you the objective is to make the smear and run to the next one, always avoiding accountabilty for the previous one.

Peaceful trade, travel and diplomacy are far less isolating than wars of aggression and endless occupations.

I submit that the military would be more effective in locating and expunging the Islamists if it were not being ground down in Iraq. And the Mexican border has been a sieve since 9-11, which to me is a 2,000 mile wide hole in the fight-them-there-so-they-don't-fight-us-here argument.

But just because Kevin calls me a Paulpot doesn't mean I have to disparage his outfit as the MeatHeads. So sorry, to Kevin and the MuscleHeads, with whom I agree more often than not. Shake hands.
