Just plain stupid
The only piece of scientific evidence that Al Gore has for saying that CO2 causes warming is the 650,000 years of ice core data. That data proves conclusive that CO2 rise is caused by global warming, the OPPOSITE of what Al claims. Not only that, but it makes more sense that way around. To say that a gas that is 4/100ths of 1 percent of the atmosphere, and that is only 5% as potent at retaining heat as water vapor, which is in much greater concentration, is silly. If you're going to complain about burning gasoline, you ought to worry about the amount of water vapor produced-- equal to the amount of CO2.

In short, Gore either lies or doesn't know the truth. Take your pick. Either way, global warming doesn't pass the laugh test.
