As cited by MKH in his newest campaign ad: "As president, I'll hire new border guards, build a fence, ask governors to certify that their borders are secure. The two million people who have committed crimes will be deported immediately."

Behind closed doors in Washington: "I think the fence is least effective. But I'll build the goddamned fence if they want it."

And another National Review vote for Mac
Boasting in Boston [Michael Graham]

I am so confident of both a Patriots win today and a Romney win in Massachusetts on Tuesday that I made this pledge on the air Friday: "If the NY Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl, I will vote cast my Super Duper Tuesday primary vote for (shudder) John McCain."

So when I say "Go, Pats!" I really, REALLY mean it.

I also think they are even more of a lead-pipe cinch to win the Super Bowl than McCain is to win the GOP nomination. Either way, I'm putting my money..er vote where my mouth is.

Romney lies and your gun rights die
Sometimes a candidate gets a little too much grief for misspeaking. The first time Mitt Romney said he was endorsed by the NRA in his gubernatorial run, he was wrong; the NRA rated him a “B,” which is not bad. (His Democratic opponent was an “A,” surprisingly. The NRA did not endorse in that race.) Apparently some NRA folk did some phone-banking for him, and Romney mistook that for an endorsement, and I guess I can see how that mistake could be made. The key is to note that he was told of his mistake back in December.

And then, in an interview a few days ago with Glenn Reynolds, the Instapundit, Romney claimed to be endorsed by the NRA again.

When it happens multiple times, one begins to wonder if Romney just wants to assert the endorsement and hopes that the person he’s speaking to doesn’t hear the correction.

Glenn comes across to me as a particularly fair-minded interviewer, but after Race42008 demonstrates a couple of different positions in a short span of time — telling Tim Russert he would sign the Assault Weapons Ban, telling Glenn and Helen that he would oppose it — Glenn concludes, “I’m beginning to question his sincerity.”

When Glenn Reyonolds questions Mitt's "sincerity" on gun rights, you know Mitt is in trouble. Jim Geraghty the Indispensable and Professor Bainbridge have the dope on Mitt Romney's recent 2nd Amendment flip flops.

Rasmussen: McCain rising, Romney dying
This is expected to be a very good day for John McCain who is likely to end the night with a substantial lead in the race for convention delegates. Data from Rasmussen Markets on Tuesday morning shows McCain with an 89% chance of winning the nomination (current prices: McCain 87.5%). Market data on Tuesday morning also shows that McCain is expected to win twelve states today while Mitt Romney is favored in six (see current expectations). Romney and his team will probably be facing hard choices either this evening or early tomorrow morning...

In the race for the Republican Presidential Nomination, it’s John McCain at 34%, Mitt Romney at 30%, and Mike Huckabee at 20%.

John McCain, The RINO
Nothing will better describe McCain, the RINO, one of three Democrats running for POTUS. The other two are HRC and Obama.

A close boyhood friend of Obama, Zulfin Adi, said Barack "was a Muslim. He went to the mosque." "All this matters, for if Obama once was a Muslim, he is now what Islamic law calls a murtadd(apostate)".

That IS the Real McStain
The main has no spine. He has no base, no values, no integrity. BTW If I hear about Vietnam one more time I will puke. The Kerry strategy wears no better on him than Kerry. Oh, I forgot, he seriously considered becoming a Dem and running with Kerry. The two-faced McLame. If you want truth, look elsewhere. Anybody but McShamnesty! The best alternative today, Romney.

Go with him to the gates of hell
McIdiots, you have bought the MSM siren song. You will follow this man, no matter what the facts are. Wake up. If you still have a brain, put down the kool-aid and choose the best conservative left in the field. Romney!

No Border Security/No National Security

You simply CANNOT have national security if you will not defend your own borders or enforce your own laws. Foreign nationals numbering in the thousands are entering our country at will daily.John McCain has done and will do NOTHING to stop it. Don't believe me? Ask Juan Hernandez!
Virginia Patriot writes: Tuesday, February, 05, 2008 2:15 PM
Smiling Juan Hernandez

When I heard McCain's Hispanic Outreach guy was none other than Smiling Juan Hernandez, I knew John McCain has heard nothing we have had to say.

Smiling Juan Hernadez
We know who he is, we know his loyalties are to Mexico, we know he wants to erase our borders and immigration laws.

JOHN MCCAIN, YOU NEED A NEW HEARING AID

Smiling Juan Hernandez
In case you don't know him, he used to work for the Mexican govt., lately he has been shilling for "rights" for illegal aliens in this country. He has said he wants Mexicans to remain Mexicans even if they are living here. His loyalties are to Mexico, not U.S.

Questions for illegal alien apologists like John McCain:

Why does The National Council of the Race (la raza in spanish) and the Chamber of Commerce get to negotiate a "Comprehensive Shafting of The American Citizens" behind closed doors? Since when does an organization representing foreign nationals breaking our laws get to rewrite our immigration laws to suit the lawbreakers? Isn't this akin to allowing NAMBLA to rewrite our laws regarding child predators? Or allowing organized crime syndicates to rewrite racketeering, gambling, prostitution, and extortion laws?

We The People are being told by our representatives that we should sit down and shut up while they invite in the entire world. We The People should get some say in this matter. Another amnesty will set off a stampede like we have never seen before. There is not much time to save our country. All the money and power are on the side of shoving this amnesty down our throats. The RNC wants an amnesty candidate, don't vote for one.
Virginia Patriot writes: Tuesday, February, 05, 2008 2:17 PM
Not Honorable

It is not honorable to conspire behind closed doors with Ted Kennedy and La Raza against the American people.

It is not honorable to try to rush an amnesty for foreign nationals illegally in our country AND their employers through Congress without committee hearings shortcutting the normal process.

It is not honorable to have contempt for the will of the people. "I'll build the G-D fence if they want it."
