I was with her only two weeks ago at the Blogs4Life conference at the annual March For Life in Washington DC. When I clicked over to read and catch up on her blog this morning I was totally surprised to see that my good friend and far more authentic New Yorker than Carrie Bradshaw has been through quite the trial in recent days.

Dawn Eden is one of the most talented writers of our generation. Her best selling book was just released in Spanish and is excelling in now its second language of release.

Please keep Dawn in your prayers for the removal of the cancerous thyroid and pray that it does not spread to anything beyond...

I'm praying for peace and full recovery for Dawn. I think that the post is a bit on the extreme side, based on my understanding of the cure rate for thyroid cancer (I have hypothyroidism). Blessings. : )

Having lost both my mother and my Lovely Bride's mother to cancer... I can't help but worry when that word re-emerges with friends...

My prayers are with Dawn and you. My daughter-in-law was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer 16 months ago and seems to be doing well.

I have a friend who had thyroid cancer. Based on what I learned during that episode, my understanding is that it rarely metastasizes. The treatment involves radiation destruction of the thyroid followed by compensatory supplements.

In our lives we cross paths with friends who will come to our side in times of difficulty and bring us aid. I am one who finds your timely appeal one of compassion and love. I always find such requests to be beneficial for all.

I don't think your post it's extreme at all! How would we know to prayer if we don't know. My precious mother died at the age of 41 from thyroid cancer. THAT was before I believed in HEALING from the LORD! I will FIGHT in prayer for Dawn! By FAITH SHE IS healed! IN the mighty Name of JESUS! Amen! Love, Wanda Fay!
