Watch Huckabee's eyes blinking. His body language is out of synch with what he is saying. Something is wrong with his delivery. This guy is not trustworthy. He has nice lines but his body language is saying something else.
How can a minister blow a Merry Christmas Card? |

his actions in real life.... I just read that David Huckabee tortured & killed a dog and then Gov. Huckabee tried to cover it up. Can this be true???!! I just read this on Newsweek. It's all over the internet. The facts are sickening. Not only was Huckabee's son involved in the horrific abuse of an animal, but Huckabee apparently tried to cover it up. Also, I read that David Huckabee tried to board an airplane with a loaded pistol in his carry-on suitcase. What??!! This is going to be a HUGE blow against Huckabee with those of us who love animals, and also with those of us who don't appreciate parents who try to cover up their children’s crimes. Huckabee and family really are a piece of work. This will NOT be a “Merry Christmas” for the Huckabee family---a family who supposedly espouses Christian values.

Can you believe it? Huckabee blinked!!!! That proves he can't trusted. (Excuse me while I throw up). |

A person wishes you Merry Christmas and you foam at the mouth. BG and Coco, please get a life! Oh yeah and Merry Christmas. |

and as such I have to remind myself to not always associate a candidate with some of their supporters. Some of the infantile persuasion that is being written is just...silly. I mean my goodness.
And I typically like Kevin McCullough but he (and Hugh...but far less Hugh) is starting to sound like a 10 year old with a snivelling voice saying, "Yeah? Well..." and onward with the crappiness. Geez, I've heard negative campaigning works but this here undecided voter isn't swayed one bit by it. |

Two things, you either like Huckabee, portraying something positive but you really aren't just to help Huckabee. Second is that you are truly undecided and you haven't seen the facts about Huckabee. |
|
Not really. I know my facts about Huckabee. At least enough to lump him in with the rest of the GOP field. Simply put, there is one fundamental lacking from each GOP candidate that eliminates them from being the conservative many are looking for.
What it'll come down to for me is what was alluded to by David Limbuagh a couple of days ago in his article. There isn't one candidate I agree with across the board and I have to pick the best one therein.
Rudy = Socially liberal. Fred = I truly wonder if he'll fall asleep (among some inconsistencies). Huckabee = Taxes and not buying he's a strong leader for the War on Terror. McCain = Immigration, McCain-Feingold, global warming. Romney = Oddly enough my biggest worry with Romney is whether he'll have the gumption to remain socially conservative as he's touted himself as (which of course begs the discussion if he was socially conservative to begin with). One hopes that Massachusetts didn't "sully" him.
We'll see. |

Unlike HUGH I am pitching for no candidate specifically. I have made the decision this go around to NOT endorse a specific candidate and am doing so in part to the masses crying out that the TownHall blog community has become too much influenced by the constant pitching for a single candidate in particular.
To accuse me and Hugh of being in the same boat is...
Well if you'd read the comments from my readers over the last week you'd see that...
Oh never mind! |

I thought christians were all about forgiveness and giving sinners another chance to become "good people". Animal lovers already decided to vote for Romney when he explained he is a big hunter (to pander to NRA voters) then said he was a small-animal killer (I mean hunter) to get the animal rights people voters. Too bad you fell for that one! If you want a candidate who is a saint and will give everyone what they want (like a drive through menu) then Mitt is your guy. I am still undecided but Romney is a man of too many shifting values for me to vote for him. Hey maybe a dog fight between his dog and Huckabee's dog can settle this score! Never mind, I like animals too, just kidding. |
