While First Lady Obama doesn't seem to mind posing for Vanity Fair and letting her husband be Versace's latest inspiration, she apparently draws the line at dolls named after her daughters. The new
"Sweet Sasha" and "Marvelous Malia" dolls have been created the company that makes Beanie Babies. Mrs. Obama made it very clear that she thought it was "innappropriate" to use the girls' popularity to sell toys.
Do you agree? As the First Daughters, is it really unfair to make dolls that are named after them? Is it exploitation or merely the price that comes with having an iconic father who had more Hollywood celebrities at his inauguartion than at Golden Globes?
