...hmm 28 miles vs. 800...

What's with all the administration's hand wringing? Oh no the sky is falling because some way over-priced "virtual" fence will not perform as well as we thought it would.

So the answer is to "set the project back years?"

Hey - here's an idea. Take a bunch of the federal felons sitting in our prisons who are in fact not citizens, haul their butts down to the Mexican border, make 'em put in long hard days' work digging a deep ditch, assembling an actual 20 ft. high double fence behind the deep ditch with a road between the fencing, and if you must... some cameras every so often.

I seem to remember Congress approving just such a plan. I seem to remember Congress allocating money for just such a plan. I seem to remember our current President agreeing to enforce such a plan. And I even remember the current GOP nominee swearing at We The People - saying it would be the least effective - but if we wanted him to build the G*d-da*ned fence then he would build it. 800 miles worth was approved.

15 miles has been completed...

Forget About It
No one will secure the border or enforce the laws. It's not our country anymore. This is my final post. RIP-USA

Ditto
Virginia Patriot, I second that. The whole point of not building the fence is to make sure this isn't our country anymore. Import 20-30 million new illiterate voters to keep dirtbag politicians in office forever. Informed voters can go take a flying you know what at a rolling doughnut. Pay our taxes and shut up. Accountability is something that happens to other people, hence our nominee, John McCain, who many GOP shills will tell you is the most conservative conservative to ever conservate in the conservatory. Trust him. What load of cr*p.

fence
It's not going to happen if we don't stand up and fight for it again. I was encouraged by the response to the amnesty bill from the "silent majority" in this country. We stood up and fought and won that battle. Not the war, but the ongoing battle. I called the White House and complained...the WHITE HOUSE! I have never been some impassioned about something as I was that and apparently, not alone. We can do it, Virginia Patriot, don't give up. Call the White House instead, call your senator and congressman. Get some fire in the gut and fight!

Fence-Why we are all in the NAU!!!
NAU-North American Union!!

That is the Goal of our elected officials, No Borders, No Fences, NO SECURITY!!!!

MY current Texas Governor (Rick Perry-won election with 39% of the vote in 2002-preceded by Bush) is building a Toll Road highway system(sold to Spain for 100 years-YES THAT IS CORRET, SOLD TO SPAIN!!) so Mexican trucks can speed on it from Mexico to Canada and back with NO Saftey or Cargo checks along the way.

Welcome to the North American Union. Its not America any more it is "MexAmerida".

This is what we are getting from REPUBLICAN elected officials and the Party wants me to support this junk. NOT MY HOUSE!!

I will not support Mcain/Obama.Clinton in any matter. I will not support any persons (including Bush now) who are destroying this Country through Free Trade-Open Borders-Benefits for Immigration Law Breakers... as they define it.

WRITING A NAME IN in NOVEMBER!!!!

Hell raising
Sounds like it's time to start raising hell again!

If our politicians are too weak to enforce our borders then I think it's time that the citizens do whatever is necessary at our border.

If things get out of hand at our borders because THE PEOPLE have to take control, the blame goes directly to our politicians!

Failure!
Add the lack of a secure border SEVEN years after 9/11 to the long, long list of Bush's failures.

That's what it's becoming...the NAU
They've even got graphics for it here:http://yessy.com/quadzool/index.html?i=24073&s=2wwd42555eou2vy5kuyka145, they're even poking fun at it. It won't be long and the fence will be moot.

Thanks Collins
If I hear one more politician waffle on the idea of sealing our border my head will explode.

I do NOT care why the politicians are against sealing our border, because any reason they will give me is total BS.

What part of securing our border do they NOT understand? I would be more than happy to spend my valuable time talking to every d**ned Congressman, Senator, and President, and explain it to them in very blunt terms. Either seal our borders or get the hell out of our way!!!
