...hmm 28 miles vs. 800...
What's with all the administration's hand wringing? Oh no the sky is falling because
some way over-priced "virtual" fence will not perform as well as we thought it would.
So the answer is to "set the project back years?"
Hey - here's an idea. Take a bunch of the federal felons sitting in our prisons who are in fact not citizens, haul their butts down to the Mexican border, make 'em put in long hard days' work digging a deep ditch, assembling an actual 20 ft. high double fence behind the deep ditch with a road between the fencing, and if you must... some cameras every so often.
I seem to remember Congress approving just such a plan. I seem to remember Congress allocating money for just such a plan. I seem to remember our current President agreeing to enforce such a plan. And I even remember the current GOP nominee swearing at We The People - saying it would be the least effective - but if we wanted him to build the G*d-da*ned fence then he would build it. 800 miles worth was approved.
15 miles has been completed...
