Forked Tongue?

Since I may be the only Townhall pundit to have appeared on the Oprah show I may have a little bit of a unique perspective on all of this... but I doubt it.

Drudge has released Oprah's response to his scoop that her staff is divided:
At the beginning of this Presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."
Hey um... Oprah... you might wanna um check the picture above. Because in truth you HAVE used your platform for one very specific candidate, and the truth is - you're so scared to death that Palin just might be such a nice, pleasant, and wonderful HIT on your show - that your boy just might not look so good afterwards.

The producers who told you to have Sarah Palin on - are the only ones on your staff you can truly trust. Because as you seek to target the 38 year old female you attempt to reach every day - there is not ONE PERSON more popular with said group than Sarah Palin... Your producers know this, its what you pay them for, and it would be an ratings BOOM for that day's show.

You also know this, but you're too proud to admit. It's a nose/face thing...

Nothing New Here
This is the same information in his other post. It's just spun in a way for a better smear. It fails to mention that Obama appeared on her show before he became a candidate and that after he became a candidate he was not invited back to the show. Funny how things like that get left out.

Dave suffers from nose/face thing too...
Dave - the point of the post is to point out that Oprah is a)lying and b)lying again.

You Obama backers are so scared that Obama has finally been exposed (something to be perfectly honest I was afraid would never actually come about) that you seem frozen in being able to respond.

Which would be natural - because while you're candidate poses as the most self important, messianic, smartest elitist in the room - in every room he appears in.

Some things are clear...

He seems incapable of answering simple questions like...

When should children be granted the rights God gives them?

Why did you say you "just knew William Ayers" when you actually worked with him?

Why do you think that raising taxes is the same as lowering them?

Bring them both back - Obama and Palin
I emailed Oprah and asked her to put Palin on the show. It was pretty easy. I think she should have them both back on the air and let her audience have a good hard look at how they stack up - also how she treats them both. SHREDILNE

Oprah is free to promote anyone
it is her show. I am not an Oprah fan (although I did once catch Dr. Oz describing the proper optimal bowel movement and how to decrease your risk of heart disease).

So if Oprah wants to promote Barack Obama, that is fine. I respect that. But when you make choices, accept the consequences. It might cost you ratings.

Oprah Viewing Admissions
Oh yeah, I did catch Tom Cruise abusing Oprah's furniture once. But that was on YouTube.

Uh-Uh. It's Better for Palin...
...to not go on--as long as America believes tht Oprah, the unabashed Obama supporter, is shaking in her boots to allow Palin a forum.

The controversy helps Palin big time and reveals Oprah for the big fat hypocrite she is.

I wonder if Oprah will have Cindy, with all that terrific video of her helping little kids in the worst places in the world.

Cindy and Sarah would normally be right up Oprah's alley--except their appearance would blow the Dem meme against Republicans all to hell:

Big, fat, rich, white men exploiting everyone and everything on the planet.

"Boy"?
You refer to a US Senator and nominee for President as "boy" and still don't think you are a racist?
KATZ writes: Friday, September, 05, 2008 4:28 PM
Hmmm
I thought Oprah had Obama on her show because she was trying to promote his career, but Palin does not need Oprah to help her; she already has a career. My initial reaction to this blurb, however, was that Oprah didn't want to talk to the white girl. Oprah did go to Jeremiah Wright's church for awhile, didn't she?

Op promoted her Race, neglected her gals
Oprah blew it when she ignored the wishes of her faithful women fans and promoted the man instead why? Because her Race ambition took priority. It didn't matter if Hillary, the 'better' musician had to play second fiddler to the tone deaf obama! The Rookie wasn't ready and should have waited. The misguided Obama had plenty of years to try for President! No foresight or common sense! Ex Democrat

Goat...
Obama is a boy, when compared to man whose shoulders have been broken in protecting his nation, and his fellow POWs.

By every measure in this race - Obama is a little boy...

Boo Hoo Oprah
So Oprah took her ball home because she didn't want to play. I hope she keeps this up. We see right through her weak excuse. Let her ratings tank. I bet Ellen will have her on. I'm sure Ellen is diametrically opposed politically to Sarah, but talk show hosts are supposed to entertain us, not tell us how to vote. After Palin is elected VP I hope she has the class to go on Oprah's show and be gracious, but make a point to let Oprah know that she knows she was slighted.

Interesting contrast
The right has nothing to hide. The libs dont want to let the right on their shows. The right wants and begs for the the lefties on their shows (to expose their deception).

Turn the lights on and let's watch the cockroaches run.
