"rrrruff in peace!"

The big O is dedicating an entire upcoming show to her now month long deceased cocker spaniel, Sophie. (Reports are Gayle is purple with envy....)

Actually the episode is intended to highlight the horrific stories of those haunting places known as "puppy mills."

The justification for such excess is because "Sophie gave me 13 years of unconditional love. (That's like four times as much as Stedman. And...) She was a true love in my life."

Now before all you whacky dog lovers go hatin' on me understand this. I've had multiple dogs over my life and seeing them die was terrible each time.

But can we please begin to see dogs for what they are. Stupid Creatures... Soulless creatures... Creatures that were designed for our companionship and enjoyment - BUT NOT fulfillment!

That's why God gave us CHILDREN.

Even the NatGeo Channel's Dog Whisperer confirms that the biggest problems dogs have in living with their masters - is that people treat them like human babies - not as DOGS.

It HAS to be a sign of a morally confused nation when we love our pets MORE than we love our children!

So I'm still waiting for Oprah to do a show-long story dedicated to the horrific and haunting "baby-mills" of this land...

So Close
"Stupid Creatures... Soulless creatures..." You lose people with stupid, soulless statements like that. In all, great persepctive, you make great points, but you don't need to be mean.

By definition...
They are incapable of increased intelligence (hence: literally stupid) and have no interaction in the after life (hence: no soul)...

These aren't meant to be mean. Just accurate...

Kevin, you are creeeeepy...
It is just weird and creepy that this bothers you so much, Kevin. Seriously - in between your stupid blogs about American Idol- the death of Oprah Winfrey's dog and her subsequent greif compelled you to write the following:

They are incapable of increased intelligence (hence: literally stupid) and have no interaction in the after life (hence: no soul)...

Sounds to me like a fairly accurate self description, Kevin.

You are a pathetic, meanspirited man.
Alllen writes: Wednesday, April, 02, 2008 7:47 PM
Soulless...
How, exactly, can you make the statement that a dog has no soul in the afterlife? Have you been there?

Well - you certainly look like you have.

*shudder*

Your statements are literally stupid - Kevin. To follow youyr logic - people who greive too much over animals are a bother to you - which is just pathetic - and people incapable of having Children are of lesser value.

Ignorant, ugly bigot.

Your poor children should only wish they were dogs. I cannot imagine the horror of having you for a "Father" - you surely suck at it...

Lastly
The very title of this blog proves that you are a rutting, vile man with hate in his heart.

You are no man of God - that is for sure.

Your faith is a fallacy.

Source?
Of course, Kevin never sites a source for his silly little political rantings. And when faced with undeniable facts that prove him wrong, he just ignores the postings.

But, really, Kevin, how do you know what other animals are or are not capable of? Do you calim to understand every aspect of intelligence?

And how do you know if they do or do not have a soul? Do you claim to understand EVERY aspect of God's love and creation?

How big is your ego?!

Alllen...
Bitter party of one...

If you think my content so inane... feel free not to read.

I find it hilarious that you make such an effort to get here - if for no other reason that to have a place to unleash your pent up frustrations...

The fact that you hate what I have to say with such venom just causes me to know that it gets under your skin enough to make you think about it...

That's reward enough!

Goat's pointed horn
Goat does have the ultimate question, which of course, Kevin will never answer.

By what authority do you claim to understand every living creature's relationship with God? By what authority do you claim to understand God's love?

Of course, you have none. You just have bandwidth.
Baby Karl writes: Friday, April, 04, 2008 4:04 PM
Eileen and Goat...
The source that more clearly defines God's relationship - including his love, mercy, grace, judgment than any other source - is HIS own word!

Scripture?
Kevin, then perhaps you could provide us with chapter and verse where Christ specifically mentions which of his Father's creatures are and are not blessed with a soul and therefore loved by their Creator.

Of course, you Born Again's can hardly stand to admit that the rest of the human world is going to be saved so I'm sure you'll choke on any idea that you might have to share Eternity with anyone but your own kind.

Allen,
WHO did I ridicule in this post (a blog is the entire collection of posts)?

And how did I demonstrate that ridicule bc their grief "annoyed" me?

Maybe you didn't read the actual post Allen - but let me just run through the overall idea one more time.

Oprah dedicates a show to the horror of puppy mills... dedicates said show to a "true love" (her puppy) that can not spend eternity with God because the doctrine of salvation can be applied. (Not my rules Eileen - just repeating the text of scripture here.)

By comparison I highlight the fact that while we Americans go goofy over our pets (even the number one dog trainer in the world agrees) WHILE we butcher real live humans...

44 million have been killed in this fashion to be clear...

Thusly - we bleed for animals - who have no soul. While we ignore the plight of children - whom Christ warned not to harm a hair on their head.

The irony that we would be more morally outraged over the abuse of dumb beasts - and ignorant or at best silent of the abuse of eternal beings (humans) surprised me - thus this blog post.

And for reminders - a blog is an entire collection of posts...
