Though it is a mystery as to who he was pandering to, Howard Dean wins the award today for uncorking this gem:
"Politicians are incredibly careful not to say anything if they can possibly help it, except if it is exactly scripted. And if you want to hear anybody's true views, you cannot do it in the same room as the press," Dean said. "If you want to hear the truth from them, you have to exclude the press."
To quote the ever inarticulate Michael Scott, "Wh.....at does that even mean?"
More importantly just using logic: How would anybody know what the then reported "true views" were of said candidate if no one was there to report on it?
(Panderbyte: a term trademarked by me . It is the use of short quippy quotes to blatantly pander to the voters in such a way so as to say, "you are too stupid to run your own lives, thus why you need us - the loony liberals of America.")
