Here's what bother's me about this ad...

1. The solider featured was only in Iraq until 2004. What relevance does his perspective have on anything in 2007.
2. I've talked to many, many soldiers who are 100% opposite this guy in terms of what they've seen, had communicated to them by the Iraqi people. So who's telling the truth? This one guy? Or the dozens of other witnesses?
3. This ad endangers the brave men and women, and Iraqis that are there NOW!

For some additional perspective take a look at these soldiers rescuing wounded Iraqis following a very bad IED attack:

In fact after you've watched it, go over to YouTube and subscribe to the channel that provided it. What you will receive are notices each time our soldiers post more of their OWN video and you can see through their eyes - the importance of what they are doing!

I sthis urprising to anyone?
The cowards from MoveOn.org are going to go to any length to support and defend theliberal view. They are cowardly idiots just like Pelosi and Reid. Thank God for the troops in Iraq and our love and prayers are with them as they defend freedom and democracy over there instead of having to do it on downtown Main Street USA.

Almost.....
Troop morale has been discussed for a long time.

1. Last week’s survey from the Army, endorsed and verified by the Pentagon and reported by the BBC shows a different situation:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6627055.stm

2. However, conservative web sites have covered it extensively back in 2003:

Christian Science Monitor: http://www.csmonitor.com/2003/0707/p02s01-woiq.html

and CSNS News:
http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewPentagon.asp?Page=%5CPentagon%5Carchive%5C200310%5CPEN20031016a.html

3. Finally, if you prefer to live the life of an ostrich, you can bury your head into the sand of http://www.qubetv.tv/, where only pro-Bush, pro-war videos are allowed.

HUH ?
The soldier protesting the war is confused. If there were 2000 towns people that came out to protest the liberators, and then they (Same Group) began firing on them with small arms fire and RPG, somethings wrong? Did he expect insurgents to say, "Wait here while I go inside to change into my old Republican Gaurd Uniform!"..........That's why they are called insurgents. And in centuries past, they would have received the fate of a pirate for not flying a flag or wearing the uniform of a nation, yet persisting as a combattant! When France surrendered to Germany in WWII, French Resistance fighters Knew that if captured, they would be shot. And even the Germans were within their right to do so. Terms of surrender are for all citizens of a defeated nation, but MSM prefers a touchy/feely war treating insurgents as UNIFORMED COMBATTANTS!......."War is organized brutality"............William T. Sherman.

From The Horses' Mouth, Not The Donkey
It's AWFULLY funny how some are coming out with all these anti-Iraq videos just as the Pentagon is cracking down on Milblogs.

Milblogs provide raw from-the-horse's-mouth info from the belly of the beast, not "news" off some idealistic nothing's-worth-ever-getting-hurt editor's desk in some air conditioned office in NYC. The general news I get from Milblogs is that though the situation's rough sledding in Iraq and Afghanistan it's not Chicken Little time over there, like some parties would very very much want us to believe.

I'd very much like to know WHO and WHAT pressured the Services into taking this milblog crackdown action. That's worthy a pre-election investigation!
