12 Iraq Veterans from the War On Terror fed and up and exhausted with Congress working the military over... Stepping up to serve their nation... but NOW in the People's HOUSE! If you want to defeat terror, keep our troops strong, and protect America from future attacks then your help is needed in twelve specific races for the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES...

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The only thing I'm not sure about, is that in many instances these candidates are still in primary races. I'm not sure we should automatically promote a vet against another Repbulican, particularly when they may have already be serving in that district. |

republicans can do is stop acting like terror (or murder in general) can be defeated. They can stop plunging the nation into chaos because of their pathological and hysterical fear of dying.
We have no problem with terrorism except that the government continues to invite the group of people who spawn it into this country.
Do not clap police-state chains your hands and the hands of your children because you fear death. That is the thinking of cowards.
Live free or die. Covet liberty. Get out of the middle east and stop running an immoral and illegal empire. Get some gonads and stop attacking a country that did not attack us.
Defeat Hillary (you will have a hard time getting congress).
You bought John McCain because you put the war on terror first. The rank and file took you at your word and gave you a VETERAN. Accept the results of your conduct and humble your arrogant, sissy selves. |

If Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul combined win 60% of the remaining delegates, they will have to have a "brokered convention". Ron paul is good for about 2% so Huckabee would need to get 58%. It can be done. Go Huck! Stop McCain! |

New York Times 2-8-08 has a warning to the public about fraudulent charities collecting money "for veterans" then spending 80% of what's collected on themselves (legitimate charities keep administrative expenses at around 30%). Some names are named: "Coalition to Salute America's Heroes" and "Help Hospitalized Veterans", both founded by the same guy, Roger Chapin, a so-called "non-profit entrepreneur". He raised more than $168 million from 2004 to 2006 but spent only 25% of it on vets, giving himself and wife $1.5 million in salary, bonuses, and pension contributions and $349,000 worth of entertainment and travel expenses plus a $440,000 condominium and a $17,000 golf club membership. Here's what the soldiers got: $18 million worth of phone cards. Could they use these to call home? No. The cards were good only to call "stateside businesses that sell sports scores". The whole business is now under investigation by Congress.
Be careful who you give your money to. "Ever'body talkin' 'bout heaven ain't goin' there." |

This is not a sure thing.
Brokered Convention = a discussion about what it means to be a Republican.
1) McCain can be prevented from winning 1191 delegates.
According to RealClearPolitics McCain has 724 delegates & still needs 467 to win. That means he has to get 44% of the remaining delegates to secure 1191.
2) Huckabee needs to win 57% of the remaining delegates to force this to a Brokered Convention.
3) On Super Tuesday McCain got 42% of the vote in Blue States and only 26% in Red States. Over 60% of McCain’s delegates have come from Blue States. Do we really want our candidate picked by States that we have very little chance of winning in the Fall?
4) Remaining delegates: Red States = 711 [ 70.5% ], Blue States = 297 [ 29.5% ]
RED States Left: ============= 47 Louisiana 39 Kansas 63 Virginia 140 Texas 88 Ohio 39 Mississippi 69 North Carolina 57 Indiana 33 Nebraska 45 Kentucky 32 Idaho 32 New Mexico 27 South Dakota
5) Notable Republican Brokered Conventions!
Abraham Lincoln – 3rd Ballot - Won Presidency Rutherford Hayes – 7th Ballot - Won Presidency James Garfield - 36th Ballot - Won Presidency Warning Harding – 10th Ballot – Won Presidency Dwight D. Eisenhower – “2nd Ballot” – Won Presidency
6) Conservatives Unite! There is still time! Win the Red States and we go to the convention for a discussion about what it means to be a Republican.
Hope this brings encouragement and hope. Spread the word. It is not over!

Mike Huckabee: conservative alternative For those voters concerend about a McCain presidency, a second look at Mike Huckabee should be enbcouraging>
Mike is strong on the 2nd Ammendent rights; he is a social conservative who is staunchly Pro-Life, he is opposed to Gay Marriage; he is for the surge in Iraq, and will settle for nothing less than VICTORY in Iraq; and he want to get the IRS of our backs, and thereby lessen the tax burden on all wage earners.
True, he probably cant get the fair tax passed into law, but his support for the fair tax shows his heart is in the right place when it comes to taxcs-depsite what his opponents have said during the heat of battle.
I hope those who are angry with Mike will take another look for the sake of the country.
For those upset about immigration lets get real: 12,000 people will NOT be be deported regardless of who becomes president.
Let's all calm down let of the anger produced by a grueling campaign, and take a second look at Mike.
