"McCain's my guy!"

In the first three minutes of H&C on Fox tonight Alan Colmes - THE LIBERAL - ran off a list of things he believed John McCain was right about...

(I'm gonna be sick...)

Keep Hugh away from sharp objects...
Certain conservative opinion makers are not pleased.

Rush Limbaugh, Hugh Hewitt, much of the roster at the National Review and many (but certainly not all) of their more conservative talk radio and blogger colleagues are beside themselves at the prospect that one of the Republican contenders they deemed to be “not conservative” might be nominated. As Mike Huckabee won Iowa, John McCain took South Carolina and Fred Thompson bestirred himself to draft a note withdrawing from the race, the fretting has intensified. How could the voters reject their advice?

Not Pleased Either
about the prospect of a McCain nomination. I, with many others, won't vote for him because he is far too liberal and arrogantly so. I will work AGAINST him!

Common Sense Not Required
It's not the talk show hosts Joe. It's about what your principles are as a conservative. It's about not voting for someone because they got shot down in their F-4 and tortured. McCain's service entitles him to our thanks and gratitude but not necessarily our vote. It's about not listening to Medved,Barnes,Colmes and the New York times.

Let me ask you this: If you were one of the angry voters calling your elected Reps last summer over the Amensty bill then what the heck are you voting for the guy who led the charge???

Hugh Hewitt in the Movies
Hugh Hewitt following the Florida GOP primaries:

Robert DeNiro's character in Goodfellas after he finds out that Joe Pecci's character got wacked.

The sad part Kevin is you are not even listed amongst the conservative pundits who were against McCain.

There is no way that I can even vote for
I will suport Mit and vote for any Rep. canidate but McCain...There is no way I want to be responable when in the name of the Rep Party he brings down the Rep Party by what he stands for and dose...The only thing I can think to do is pray that the train wreck that he (McCain)would bring , is not to bad...My first hope is that he dose not win... By this piont I would rather have the Dem in the next four years take the fall than a fake Rep.....

Of course!
Of course you people easily will ditch all your principles, all your ideals, all your foaming-at-the-mouth rhetoric and vote for McCain when you are faced with the real option of a fire-breathing, ball-busting woman as President.

Colmes
I do hope this will stop republicans from using Colmes as an example for how "fair and balanced" Fox News is. My parents always say that, as if most Democrats identify much with Colmes.
