Why I might be willing to give up on the "rule of law" so that the Rule of Law can be re-established...

Speaking of something that law school profs won't like... call the "wham"-bulance. Are you kidding me, this man wouldn't know what fair coverage of his affairs looked like and if he thinks it's tough now, I just can't wait until he's actually in office. That deer-in-headlights look we get once a week presently might just become a regular tourist attraction in DC.

This is a completely fair thing to do, because THEY attacked first, AND they have these peeps propping them up... I say let's really take the cuffs off and let them solve the Iranian question for us all...

Ooops she (Oprah) did it again... she really should vet these things better.

You know... that JFK's daughter... you know... she makes... you know... the Governor of Alaska... you know... look like a freaking Nobel recipient for literature... you know...

And as it turns out, when it comes to science, Barack Obama is pretty much dumber than a doorknob... Ha! Who would've known...

Oh wait... this did turn out to be the year when the "scientists, intellectuals," and such did get embarrassed by finally doing this...

But they didn't buy all of our Christmas and Holiday crap... "please sir, may we have some...?"

One trend I really don't see as a bad thing...

Comparison
Kevin wants to compare the intellect of Caroline Kennedy to Caribou Barbie?

Let's see: Kennedy is a graduate of Radcliff and Harvard.

Palin is a graduate of ..... four different colleges just to earn her bachelor's degree in communications-journalism.

Good job, Kevin! At least you have stopped using the term "Nobel prize nominee."
Dottie writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 8:36 AM
Come on, Rick
Since most people don't have the means to be Radcliff/Harvard grads, your criticism is not going to go far. What are you, some kind of elitist? Just defend Caroline without the sniping. Can you do that? The truth is, she is not particularly well-spoken, and she cannot articulate why she should have the Senate seat. Maybe she should have prepared better and not relied so heavily on her name.
Baby Karl writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 11:01 AM
Plus Palin has actually run something...
Dottie schooled Rick...

LOL!
eddie too writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 11:15 AM
Wow, Radcliffe and Harvard.

ex-pat, your admiration is totally misplaced.
Homer writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 12:35 PM
Radcliffe and Harvard, eh?
Did she get a Bachelor of Arts Major in Uptalk?

"I'm really coming into this as somebody who isn't, you know, part of the system, who obviously, you know, stands for the values of, you know, the Democratic Party," Kennedy told the Daily News Saturday during a wide-ranging interview.

"I know how important it is to, you know, to be my own person. And, you know, and that would be obviously true with my relationship with the mayor."

She has the "you know" part nailed pretty solidly, you know, and she, you know, has written, you know, two, you know, books, which are, you know, pretty much, you know, coffee table stuff, you know.

Were Ms Kennedy her own person, she would remember to vote and not be shocked when told that she had been derelict in her duty to do so.

Caroline Kennedy, Al Franken, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid...where in hell do the the liberals find these people?

The means?
The means to get to Ivy League? You must be delighted with Obama, who has actually earned everything he has -- unlike our current Frat-boy in Chief.
Ex-pat/rick in Geneva writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 1:00 PM
Run?
What did Palin run, Kevin? A tiny town's budget into a ditch -- a very small scale version of W's 2nd greatest achievement.

And now runs a state with a population smaller than the DFW metroplex.

Yeah, she's a great leader.

PLEASE keep pushing Caribou Barbie! I hope and pray she is the future of the GOP so that the Democrats can continue to win.
sloandog writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 1:06 PM
It always comes down to Palin.
But don't worry she is no threat.Yea right!
Dottie writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 1:28 PM
Alright Rick, we get it
You hate Palin. Just the mention of her sends you into a tiz! Ok, now that we have that out of the way.

Please explain, clearly and concisely with no double-speak or speech interrupters (you knoww), exactly why Caroline Kennedy should have the Senate seat. If you do not support her for the Senate please explain why that is. I am just curious as to what you are thinking here, or if you just want to badmouth Palin.

Thanks Kevin!
Baby Karl writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 10:26 PM
Actually Obama hasn't earned his way...
either...

Truth is without the generosity of scholarships neither he nor Michelle would've made it through the Ivy league.

But we know those weren't moments that she could be proud of... you know... that America would give them a free education... you know.

Keep slammin Palin our dear little Rickster. They did exactly the same thing to Reagan.
Ronna writes: Tuesday, December, 30, 2008 11:04 PM
Radcliffe and Harvard didn't do a thing
for Kennedys grasp of the English language. she said (ya know) about 30 or so times in less than 5 minutes. My 13 year old Grandson doesn't use that term half that much.

She is an airhead with a big name and not much else to go on, so she'll do as all the others in politics do no doubt; she'll rely on "a little help from her rich and famous friends," dontchaknow!
Skagway guy writes: Wednesday, December, 31, 2008 8:32 AM
Please!
My greatest wish for the new year is that Kevin and his Neo-Con buddies continue to hitch their star to Palin.

Nothing guarantees greater success for the Democrats.

On Obama's scholarships: how did they come by those scholarships? Simple answer: a combination of brains and hard work.

Brace yourselves: smart people are coming to the White House.
sloandog writes: Wednesday, December, 31, 2008 10:05 AM
Palin again!
Her name keeps coming up but of course she poses no threat.BTW pgoat I don't see any pictures of the smart people from the Harvard days in the news, but I see lots of pictures of the smart people with Tony Rezco and Gov Blagojevich now thats academe !
my2centsplus writes: Wednesday, December, 31, 2008 11:50 AM
Congratulations
To the Palins on the birth of her firs (and maybe not last) illegetimate grandchild! I'm sure the boyfriend, and mommy are thrilled at the birth!

I am surprised at you! Are you always this judgemental--or is it only toward Conservatives? Are you truly a purist, or are you a hypocrit? If a friend had a daughter who was unmarried and pregnant, would you be so hateful?

I am sorry for you because you are obviously not a kind person. I am sorry that you much spew hateful venom toward an innocent baby and his parents and grandmother. I do not know what events caused you to become this way, but I will hope for your healing.
