 Angry peeps who engage in homosexuality... And they are angry and now forming mobs in sections of California like West Hollywood and San Francisco. Ticked that the majority of Californians (including 1.6 MILLION people who voted for Barack Obama) do not believe that their bedroom kinkfests are quite the same thing as marriage--and chose not to define it as thus, those who practice militant homosexual behaviors took to the streets. Proving that they care not a lick about "tolerance" and betraying their harsh goal of totality when it comes to throwing off the definition of marriage that has stood for centuries, they have now taken to swarming cars, overwhelming streets, and generally demonstrating their militant queerness with spittle laced tirades up and down the streets... Yes... I'm sure this type of behavior will help them make their case to people that already believe that their sexual behavior is dangerous and unequal to traditional marriage...
I'm angry, too: that this continue to be an issue. What a big waste of time, money and energy.
Granted, I am surprised that people who voted for obama also voted for this ban, but that is the beauty of democracy.
Ultimately, the gays will win the right to marry and the world will keep on turning.
Personally, I've got fatter fish to fry. And so does everyone else, too. |

The "stunned disbelief" to which I referred was not a negative reaction -- obviously, Kevin, you remain desperate to read into it what you did.
The amazement was that our beloved Country did such a terrific thing. Remember four and eight years ago, the entire world was in shock that the American voters had committed such a ridiculous act.
Believe me, my US and British co-workers are OVERJOYED with the victory of common sense over more of the same.
As for the usually reserved Swiss, they are still on full-party setting. My local bus driver has been wearing an "Obama" pin on his lapel (a big no-no among the uniform-crazy Swiss)since Wednesday morning. The café in our building has been giving away free coffee and danish to all Americans (also shocking for the super-capitalist Swiss) and plan to do so until inauguration day.
Yep, we're stunned -- but DELIGHTED!!!!
At home: I'm sad to see that my home, Galveston, TX went 50% to McCain, but at least Harris County went for Obama!!!

Oh well, ya can't win 'em all I guess. Having the Prez, House & Senate ain't enough for this gang, I guess the shock of finding out that even 1.6 million messiah voters still believe in that weird institution called 'marriage' between one man & one woman shows to them that 'change' really must be a fraud! accomodating his addiction. He's recovering alcoholic, something endemic in that population;
and trying to rebuild his wasted youth at age

i attended a yes on 8 rally last weekend and about 1 1/2 hours into it opponents started to rear their ugly heads... these people were ANGRY. one thing is to drive by and shake your head in opposition or give a thumbs down, but these people were making obscene gestures with their fingers and tongues, yelling out derogatory words, and practically hanging out their windows to make sure we heard them. i must say however, that we mostly had supporters (90%) driving by but that 10% were extremely angry people. at one point, there was literally a vanful of lesbians that came around behind us in the parking lot. they brought out their makeshift signs and their "people", who by this time had started to congregate at the corner opposite from us, started tearing down the signs we had put up and crowding in front of us. funny thing is that they had a huge peace sign spray-painted onto their van. |

I believe marriage should be reserved for a man and a woman but I think this post is over the line. Show some respect by choosing your words better even if you don't agree with their view on this issue. Your post gives fire to those that think all conservatives are hate filled. |
