My good friend and long time talk show host in the beltway Don Kroah is away on vacation today so I'll be sitting in for him. If you're in the DC/Baltimore area check us out on 105.1 WAVA-FM/780 AM, 5-7pm tonight.

I'll be monitoring what's going on up until the first pitch but I know of three things I'd like to discuss with you:

1. Tom Hanks: The election needs "to be held tomorrow!" Adding, "I'm BORED!" Maybe you are in agreement. I'm not - personally I think the rock 'em, sock 'em that's about to unfold is going to be one of the funnest things to come down the pike in a long time...

2. Is Alec Baldwin calling his born again brother Stephen a "homo hater?" It sure sounds like it. It also seems like Alec's rationale is pretty weak. Is it even possible to criticize homosexuality, to speak up for the cause of traditional marriage, or to even counsel a homosexual friend against that behavior - and NOT be seen as a "homo hater?"

3. A Judge in California has made it illegal (pending appeal) for parents to homeschool their young-uns. This begs the question - how should the 166,000 homeschool families that reside in California react? What would you do if you were in their situation?

I live in Alabama and there is no way I can listen live. Is there a way I could listen later via podcast? I hope you will talk about the Stephen/Alec situation on your Blogtalk radio on your next show.

I wonder
Does it bother Stephen Baldwin for you to bring his family into your blog conversations? I know you two are friends and would hate to see you destroy that. I think you are a great radio host and author (I read your book) but I think you should leave your friend's disfunctional family alone. I know you don't mean it in any mean spirited way, but some things are just off limits.

Homosexulaity is not a "behavior" - it is a part of the human condition. And while you are "discussing" this on your show, which thankfully I will not be listening to, please keep in mind the language you use when describing us "homos" and how often you ridicule gay people in your blogs and columns before asking the question of whether someone can be seen as a "homo hater". It would also behoove you to read up on some statistics regarding teen suicide and crimes against gay people and reflect on the inpact your "behavior" has on such atrocities. Calling people "homos", riducling lesbians and blogging about how angry you become when seeing an effeminate gay teenager on television does nothing to defend traditional marriage or counsel homosexuals. Your words and "behavior" are designed only to inflict injury. How about discussing THAT on your show.
