I've been in three airports in as many days. As it was, I was stuck rather interminably in one yesterday for a good long while. I'm back in one at 5:30am this morning.
I caught the end of the debate live, watched much of the reaction by all pundits - of all persuasions - from all political viewpoints that called last night, "game, set, match" for Palin.
But the REAL confirmation was Front Page USA this morning:
New York Times: "Pointed but Cordial"
USA Today: "Campaigns await results of spirited debate"
New York Post: "Sarah Show"
New York Daily News: "Pit bull bites Biden"
As I got to my seat to settle in for some blogging before flying, CNN blares over my shoulder, "Both campaigns are claiming victory in what was an obvious tie last night..."
Since the mainstream media would NEVER admit a loss to Palin, then you have to understand what all of them are saying.
NONE declared Biden a winner.
Verdict: PALIN WON BIG!
