"Trustworthy?"

The list grows that Hugh is chiding into agreeing with himself... more names added to the blacklist...Mark Levin, Tom Bevan, James Joyner, Captain Ed, Bob Novak, Paul Edwards, TH's Matt Lewis, Fred Barnes, TH's Mary Katharine Ham, Byron York, TH's Bill Bennett, Jonah Goldberg, Ramesh Ponnuru, and me Kevin McCullough...

I mean its not like any of those of us listed above have said anything near the likes of Brian Camenker, Sandy Rios, or Gregg Jackson...Though in fairness to Hugh - he did do a MAJOR retreat in rhetoric this afternoon:

"Of course there are some nay-sayers. There always are. I don't trust their judgment about the campaign at this point if they didn't think the speech was at least very good."

Which is a WHOLE FREAKIN WORLD OF DIFFERENCE from:

"Mitt Romney's 'Faith in America' speech was simply magnificent, and anyone who denies it is not to be trusted as an analyst."

I've seen a number of people - including myself who have said they believed it was a great speech. My beef with it was that it need not be given and that it might open up more issues than it resolves.

It certainly has amongst pundits who will need to all be on the same side in about 10 months or so...

RUSH TOO!
RUSH said this on his show after the speech:

"THE CRITICISMS NOW THAT ARE BEING LEVIED AT THIS JUST DOES'NT FIT THE MOMENT, WHICH IS WHY I THINK SOME CAMPAIGNS ARE BEHIND THIS"

Wow, sounds alot like HUGH.

I guess you dont have to be a Mitt guy to think this speech is beyond criticism.

His comments are on his blog!

King Liberal...
Perhaps you're not familiar with the fact that I broadcast daily in New York and the Tri-State area and in portions of seven states AND streaming online to one of the larger streaming daily audiences in the nation.

I have gone after Rudy consistently on-air, in print, and in live speech presentations...

On my YouTube channel there is a commentary in which I state vociferously that I can not and will not support him.

You've got to be kidding me
The speech was awesome. One of Mitt's abilities is speech writing. He writes and gives his own speeches. I read that he had some help on this one, but that he did write it. The purpose of this speech was never to explain the doctrines of the LDS church, and contrary to the liberal writer above, he did not create the demand to talk about its doctrines. That has been a demand by the MSM going on for quite awhile now. He has avoided the discussion, and the reason why he avoids it is explained quite well in this speech. I agree with him. He should never attempt to get into the doctrines of a specific church, his or anyone else's. That is not the place of a politician. The speech he gave today was inspiring and those who could listen with an open mind and heart were uplifted and reminded of our great legacy as Americans. I was inspired to be a better American. How sad that others just want to gripe, complain, and find fault.
